^^ Lunch, snack and dinner ang kasama.  Yung snack choice of popcorn or softdrink.

Hindi ko type ang restos na kasama diyan sa 3-in-1 coupon kaya hindi ako nag-avail.  Yung Starliner Diner at Clopin's Festival of Foods yata ang kasama diyan. 

Sa Disneyland, nasarapan ako sa meal namin sa Royal Banquet Hall at Fantasyland. That's where we had lunch on the first day.  Hubby had noodle soup, my kids and I shared fish and chips and beef steak with mushroom soup.  Malaki kasi ang servings.   Sa Comet Cafe naman sa Tomorrowland, rice meals and noodles mostly, so-so lang.  Diyan kami nag-dinner naman.  Sa Chef Mickey at Hollywood Hotel naman kami nag-breakfast the following day, ang sarap ng dimsum.

May baon kaming bottled water (1 each in the backpacks of my kids, and 3 or 4 sa backpack ni hubby) kaya nakatipid kami.  HKD15 din kasi ang isang bottle.

saka, sa HK ba tumatanggap ng PHP ang money changers o USD lang?

@staywithme, they accept PHP din sis... so far czarina lang din alam kong medyo mura ang exchange rate... if you're in the province naman try mo yung mga money changers dyan sa province nyo im pretty sure meron silang palit ng PHP to HKD.

Ishare ko lang nahigh blood ako sa airport super bilin ako na ingatan ang stroller ni baby kasi everytime we travel lagi na lang may gasgas, now we got a new stroller a quinny buzz extra pag kuha ni hubby puro gasgas lahat yung nauka talaga nag complain kame since scratch lang daw ma offer nila to pay us $150, new kaya yun at grabe talaga itsura, di ako punayag nag demand ako ng new ayun sabi nila kung gusto ko isettle na lang sa cathay phil, sabi ko oo dun na lang & replace nila lahat!! Hay sana maayos

For those checking accommodations at Hotel Benito (I've read good reviews from PEX and some GT sisses) the rate now is HK$1,400.00/night.  I've been doing research for our 4D/3N accommodations(Aug-Sept) and I think the rate is kinda pricey and almost the same as other boutique hotels.  Is the location of HB really worth its price?

^ Nice nga location ng HB but there are many hotels in that area.  Try checking Butterfly on Prat, another boutique hotel, and also Park Hotel (where we stayed).  Magkakalapit lang sila.

Ang downside ng Benito is the size of the room (19 sq meters per booking.com).  If you're travelling as 2 adults, 2 kids, masikip ng konti.  Ganoon din sa Butterfly on Prat.  That's why I chose Park, mas maluwag ng konti at 36 sq. meters.  Next time, I want to try Marco Polo Gateway because it has two double beds.  The usual is two single beds.

Sis marose, next time you should try Marco Polo Gateway. We stayed in the premier room and the room was huge! It has double beds. Service was superb too! The staff were very courteous and helpful the only downside was there was no in-room wifi. The free wifi at the lobby was ok though.

^ Next time talaga.  MP Gateway and Park ang nasa shortlist ko and my husband chose Park because of slightly better reviews sa booking.com.

For my first visit to HK way back in 2003, my friends and I stayed at MP.  We were mostly out so we were happy to settle at the hotel after a long and tiring day. We were 2 in a room so we have ample space. 

Butterfly is also ony my shortlist so thanks for the comparison.  Almost the same price is Salisbury YMCA.  I'll look into Park Hotel.  Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm watching a Groupon deal for a 4D/3N HK package but the hotel choices are in Tseun Wan (Royal View) and Sha Tin (Regal Riverside).  Malayo sa Central and TST but doable naman with the MTR.  Still not decided because I have to factor in the energy levels of my hubby and daughter. . I think I will need the comfort level of a convenient and accessible hotel when we do our sightseeing.  Of course depende rin naman di ba where the sighs will be.

What areas did you visit with the twins?  Kayong family lang?

we chose royal plaza na talaga kahit medyo malayo sa mtr.. malapit sa mongkok east station kaso hindi naman yun yung line pang explore, may malapit ba na interchange? parang malayo din kasi based sa map. royal plaza na lang kasi siya yung pinaka mura sa agoda na may 1queen and 1 double since 5 kami, 3 adults 2kids.. may discounted tickets ba for disneyland/ocean park namabibilan? sorry ngayon pa lang ako mag babackread

mga sis, i want to know kung magkano from USD to HKD kasi meron akong mga USD at ayaw ko na sana magpunta sa winghoi to buy HKD.  Kung okay din naman ang rate sa pinas ng USD to HKD dyan na lang ako magpapapalit.  TIA.

@happy_pomelo, we walked along the TST area, visited 1881 Heritage and Harbour City, took the ferry, visited The Peak (super cold!) and rode the tram which my kids loved, Ocean Park and Disneyland (2 days here).  We also managed to squeeze in a bit of shopping (for the kids only though) at Citygate outlet mall in Tung Chung and the airport (best deals for cosmetics).    My kids enjoyed riding on different modes of transportation: double-decker bus (A21 from the airport and the bus going to The Peak and Ocean Park), ferry, train and cable car.   

Park is a bit far from the MTR station though, mga 15-minute leisurely walking with the kids.   Chatham Road is nice for walking since it's not brimming with people like Nathan Road. I also like the fact that the A21 Bus from the airport and Airport Express Shuttle stops at the hotel.  Big deal ito going to and from the airport because of our luggage.  From Harbour City naman, our cab fare is just 20 HKD.  Okay na din if you have kids tired from walking kesa maglakad.  There is also a bakeshop in Cameron Road, Hoixe is the name, that sells the yummiest sweet pork buns and bread.  The pork buns were my breakfast for two days.  Nakaka-addict!

YMCA Salisbury has a good location also.   I think it has bigger rooms than Butterfly.  Okay naman sa Butterfly because may free wi-fi sa room, pero not with two kids in tow kasi maliit ang room.   If you want to  check how big is each room, go to booking.com.  Doon ko na-check ang sizes ng rooms.

@izzie7, you can buy Disneyland and Ocean Park and Peak, etc. tickets at the China Travel Service (Hong Kong) counter at the airport for less than the rack rates.

 i bought all my tickets sa cts and it was discounted plus less hassle sa pila coz you can avoid the long line like sa Ngong pin and sa Peak tram , you just need to have it exchnage sa booth nila

Yup this is what we did too. Super haba ng pila sa Ngong Ping when we went, but since we have tickets na feeling namin celebrity kami dirediretso kami all the way sa taas and pumila na lang ng konti to exchange our tickets. Good deal na talaga, especially for us we have 2 kids tagging along kaya di kami uubra sa tagal ng pila.
