I miss HK too. If given the chance to go back, kami naman ni hubby lang. Hirap kasi ng may kasamang kids, di kami nakapag shopping man lang. 1st day was spent touring disneyland, next day half day sa Disneyland hollywood hotel pool, the rest of the day were back to Disneyland since we bought 2day tickets then the last day we spend half day checking out plus we went to Ngong Ping and ride the cable car and see the Giant Buddha. Although worth it na rin naman kasi quality time namin ito with the kids, and they really enjoyed it but syempre dami din namin di napuntahan.

Gosh!  Tom na flight namin to HK... Excited and nervous because of the weather here in Mla... Almost everyday naulan!  Cebu Pac pa naman kami... afraid baka ma delay flight :-( 
My cousin told me last night super lamig daw Hk ngayon... She suggested if pupunta daw kami ng Disneyland not on a weekend esp. Sunday because super dami daw tao talaga.... Good thing we are scheduled on Monday :-)

we had reservation at golden crown on Jan. 12-15, good thing is hindi ko tinuloy yung sa Taisan kasi i read a lot of complaints sa Pex, mahirap yung ganong mga pangyayari lalo na kung may kasamang mga kids.  Sale ba ang mga winter clothes sa HK kasi plan ko bumili para magamit ko pagbalik ko ng qatar.

na-mimiss ko na ang HK.. sana makabalik kami ulit... sa mga pupunta sa HK, try nyo i-visit yung nanlian garden, maganda pala dun.. inakyat kasi anmin hanggang sa taas and puro buddha yugn nandun.. i was just amazed kasi ang lalaki ng statue ni buddha dun..

agree, aakalain mo bang may ganon pa sa gitna ng city? maganda yong landscape, yong mga lotus alagang-alaga & ang clear ng water sa pond. panira lang sa background yong mga building. hehe! bawal picturan yong buddha pero pasaway ako pinicturan ko pa rin kasi ang ganda.

@rocky, naku sis kami hindi namin napicturan kasi baka pagalitan kami nung mga monk na nakabantay... ang ganda nga nugn garden na yun.. nakakatuwa pa kasi ang galing ng maintenance nila.. imagine namemaintain nila ng ganun yun to think na free ang entrance.. ang galing...

^@rocky-where can I find sales on boots? Meron kaya in tung Chung or any place I can go to na all I need to do is get off the airport express, like elements in Kowloon or IFC in HKG station? I only have a few hours to grab some stuff and the closer it is to the airport, the better. My plan of action is: 19dec-ETA 2135 so nothing else to do! Can't even have a few drinks at the hotel w the hubby since he's flying the next day. sooo, 20dec-hubby needs to fly at 1pm so HE can't go anywhere. I'll just be leaving my bag at the concierge upon chk out. [textspeak!] around 930am, I'm off to the city for some shopping. Worry ko lang lugging around so much stuff back to the hotel lobby (that's where I'll stuff my loot) haha care ko to make a quick mess there, thank God for the 30kgs allowance... LOL then chk in for my 6pm flt. Whew, amazing race mode na naman ako nito!

^the best place to go shopping would still be TST or in Central. I saw a lot of stores on sale at Gateway/Harbour City/Ocean Center. Plus you have H&M, Muji, Uniqlo and Zara there. Don't worry you have lots of time to shop if you only have a few items in mind. I always do that, come in the morning and leave at night or overnight stay lang.

Magtanong lang sana ako kung yung Butterfly on Prat, di ba talaga pwede ang good for 3 persons? If mag book online, wala talagang option good for 3 persons either sa website nila or sa other travel sites.

@mekky29 sobrang lamig ang jan sa hk base sa reviews dito sa previous thread hindi nag enjoy yung mga sis natin dahil super lamig.  Pray na lang na pagdating niyo dun kayanin nyo ang weather.

Thanks, mama squeak & rocky! I've done overnight na rin a couple of times but always w the hubby & never on a dash to shop! LOL...and never tried packing at the hotel lobby hahaha...thanks for the tips!!!

mga sis, need your help...Jan 15-18 kami ng family ko pupunta ng HK...9 adults 4 kids...any suggestion for airport hotel transfer...Ate Yolly of Taisan offered us 350HKD for 1 van that can fit 9 adults..meron kayang mini-van that can fit all of us? thanks!

is it better to bring an umbrella stroller from here or buy na lang in HK? konti lang kasing baggage inavail ko from cebu pac baka mag-over weight kami papunta pa lang.  saan may murang stroller sa HK? tia
