US TV: Breaking Bad

This is also one of my favorite shows. Ang galing din ng casting. The actors fit their roles, walang mga absurdly gorgeous actors na hindi na kapani-paniwala. So looking forward to the second half of the final season.

In development na yata yun Better Call Saul spinoff, but not a done deal yet. Maganda nga rin siguro yun since isa naman siya sa pinaka-interesting na characters.

Nakahabol din ako sa finish line -- updated na ako sa final season!  Can't wait too for the second half of the final season -- lalo na ngayong alam na ni Hank kung sino si W.W.

^^ Kaabang-abang talaga ang next few episodes ng Breaking Bad.  Pero di ba, sa umpisa ng Season 5, one year ahead in the future, he was in contact with his gun dealer and that he is popping pills?  Has the cancer resurfaced?  I wonder who Walt is going after?  Hindi kaya si Jessie ang hina-hunting niya?

All throughout the series, he was covering his tracks.  Tapos a simple booboo of leaving a book with Gale's inscription could make all his efforts go to waste.  Eh, knowing Hank na sobrang persistent.  I wonder kung paano niya ma-e-evade ito.  Can't wait for the last half of the final season!

^agreed. Super careful si walter e tapos something as simple as that lang maging downfall nya. Sana ibang way yung pagka discover ni Hank.

I don't like Skyler either kasi SOBRANG overbearing siya kay Walt.  Lahat binusisi, lahat pinakialamanan.  Buti na lang itong last two seasons eh medyo nag-mellow down siya.  Sarap jombagin eh!

^^ it was like what skyler said-- the devil is in the details. she's also correct in saying that subconsciously, walter wants to be caught.

i can't wait for aug 11!!!!!! this really is one of the best shows EVER.

Ang galing ng ginawang video "confession" ni Walter! Inimplicate ng todo si Hank ngayong nalaman na nito na siya si Heisenberg! At ang Jessie, my gosh! Talagang he was spinning out of control na talaga but still, he didn't spill the beans pa rin. Kita naman na concerned din si Walt kay Jessie at parang anak na ang turing nito sa kanya. Wawa naman si Saul at nabugbog. Ayan tuloy, yung isang atraso ni Walt kay Jessie is biting his a$$ now.

^ Sending someone to Belize is what Saul used as a euphemism for murder.  Sinuggest niya kasi kay Walt to send Hank to Belize just like what Walt did to Mike.

Off-topic:  The Belize Government apparently loved having been mentioned in the show such that it sent a toucan-laden invitation to the entire cast of show.  From what I understood, the Belize Tourism Board will host their stay in the country.

i miss mike too. he had some of the best lines. for me one of the best scenes in the entire series is on S3 "half measure" when mike was talking to walt about his stint as a cop. galing ni jonathan banks umarte.

on the latest epi: the diner scene was creepy! so terrified for the waitress.

nayabangan ako kay samuel l. jackson sa talking bad. (talking bad is that supplementary talk show to breaking bad, like talking dead is to the walking dead, also hosted by chris hardwick.) but i like what he said that he wishes walter will die on his own terms.

for fans of the show, you guys might want to check out the nerdist podcast where the nerdist guys interviewed vince gilligan. breaking bad uses a lot of symbols and part of the fun of watching the show is cracking those. napa-wow ako sa connections those guys made and their analyses. even vince sounded very impressed.

someone on twitter said that in 10 yrs, he will look back and think that breaking bad is the greatest show ever created. i'm tempted to agree. this show is practically flawless. it's visually beautiful, hell even the music is amazing. the only other drama that i love as much as breaking bad is mad men and even mad men isn't as consistent as breaking bad.

I am not ready to say my goodbyes to one of he compelling tv shows that I follow.  Ngayon pa nga lang na-de-depress na ako.

Para sa sakin, dalawa ang malaking atraso ni Walt kay Jessie: yung ricin na muntik ng ikamatay ni Brock at ang kayang inaction when Jane was suffocating from her own vomit.  Malaman kaya din ni Jessie yung latter?

I think Jessie did not go through wih torching Walt's house kasi in one of the episodes pinakita na Walt went back to the house on his 52nd birthday and it was abandoned but there were kids skateboarding in the drained swimming pool and he house is not burned down.  He retrieved the rixin and took off. I wonder kung kanino niya gagamitin ang ricin at kanino niya gagamitin ang baril na binili niya.  His cancer is definitely back because he had been coughing again.
