:P kapag private room hay naku halos doble.

sis bettyboop1322 - last sun lang ako nag-inquire sa desk ng philhealth ng capitol eh 11k lang... sana nga kahit 19k naman...:(

sis jp_jameop - mas mababa talga benefits pag NSD...

sis kaice - buti ka pa mura hospitalization mo at pf...OB ko PF sa CS 30k na  :o... small private room sa capitol naman eh 1,900...so x3 days yun kung walang complications...tapos pedia dati 5k at anaesthesiologist ko eh 15k...sana di na sila nagtaas ng rate...i asked my ob, and i will ask the hospital na rin naafter ko manganak yung meds ko magreseta na lang sila at ako ng bibili sa labas kasi may 30% mark-up price ng gamot sa hospital sayang din yung matitipid... ;)...

Sabi 6,500 naman daw pag NSD...

The circular provides that under the Normal Spontaneous Delivery package, the P6,500.00 is applicable to normal deliveries of the first four births in all accredited hospitals.

The amount is divided into three, P2,500 is for facility fee component that covers hospital charges for room and board, drugs and medicines, laboratory, supplies and other ancillary procedures; labor room, delivery room and recovery room; and other medically necessary charges for delivery and postpartum care.

The other P2,500.00 is for physician component to cover payment of professional fee of accredited professionals for delivery services, immediate post-partum care and counseling for reproductive health, breastfeeding and newborn care.

The other P1,500.00 is for prenatal care component for reimbursement of members' prenatal expenses prior to confinement which may cover any of the following prenatal expenses: drugs and medicines; laboratory tests and ancillary procedures; tetanus immunization; and prenatal consultations as supported by official receipts.

why kaya hindi standard? Kakaconfuse ???

^sis, i think it has to do something pa sa hospital na pupuntahan mo. di ba sa philhealth din pumapasok yung tertiary churva?

Hirap ako sa right and supine positions eh.

Regarding my Philhealth, sabi ng lying-in clinic where I will give birth, mga 4-5k daw ang bawas sa bill ko lahat lahat. Naka-package kasi yung normal painless nila at 9,700. Ayun.

Sa pedia, may pedia rin naman yung clinic, so baka dun yung mga initial check-ups and all, pero since we might move North of QC, baka magpalit din kami ng pedia soon.

Philhealth Maternity Benefits
January 9, 2011 · Filed Under philhealth
Update as of August 17, 2011: Philhealth will start implementing its Case Rates Payment system for maternity cases and certain other medical/surgical cases for patients admitted starting September 1, 2011.

For Normal Spontaneous Delivery (NSD) in Level 1 hospitals and in lying-in facilities, maternity clinics, RHUs and birthing facilities, the total Philhealth payment will be 8,000 pesos (6,500 for the facility and health professional and 1,500 for prenatal care).

For NSD in Levels 2 to 4 hospitals, the total Philhealth payment will be 6,500 pesos (5,000 for the facility and health professional and 1,500 for prenatal care).

For delivery by Caesarian Section (CS) in accredited Levels 2 to 4 hospitals and performed by accredited health professionals, the Philhealth fixed payment will be 19,000 pesos.

The Newborn Care Package (NCP) has been increased from 1,000 to 1,750 pesos. NCP includes physical examination, eye prophylaxis, Vitamin K administration, BCG Vaccination, first dose of Hepatitis B immunization, newborn screening tests, and breastfeeding advice.

Q: How much is the total maternity benefit?

The total benefit is 6,500 pesos for normal delivery or normal childbirth. But usually, you enjoy only a deduction of 5,000 pesos from your total hospital/clinic bill. You’ll know why in the next questions. For admissions starting September 1, 2011, the benefit has been increased to 8,000 pesos in Level 1 hospitals and in lying-in and maternity clinics. It remains at 6,500 pesos, however, for normal deliveries at Levels 2 to 4 hospitals.

yung sinasabi ko sis, dito sa may governor forbes. puntahan namin ng papa ko siguro mamayang hapon para mag-inquire. magdadala rin ako ng camera to get some pictures (at nung pictures ng samples) para maipakita rin kasi kay hubby.

meron din sis sa j. ruiz. pagbaba mo lang ata ng LRT-A. marami din daw pagawaan don sabi ng parents ko. dun kasi nila binilhan yung pamangkin ko ng crib. pag wala akong nagustuhan dito sa forbes, might as well check rin yung sa j. ruiz.

At kelangan after 3-4 hrs uwi n kami. Sumasakit kasi ang paa ko agad.

Balitaan mo kami sa crib hunting mo ah. Over kasi tlaga ang mahal sa mall.

Q:  If my child is delivered via Cesarean Section (CS), will Philhealth cover my expenses?

Philhealth will cover a portion of your expenses, using the chart of Philhealth benefits for regular surgeries.  A portion of the costs of your room, medicines, doctor’s fees, operating room and laboratory fees will be paid by Philhealth, and the balance will be paid by you.

Philhealth has announced that it will soon implement its Case-Rate-Basis program for CS and 21 other medical/surgical cases. If this is implemented, every delivery via CS will be paid by Philhealth at a fixed rate of 15,000 pesos, and you pay the balance. The amount is still a proposal, and it may change.

Update:  Philhealth has announced that the payment for CS is fixed at 19,000 pesos in Levels 2 to 4 hospitals, under the new Case Rates payment scheme, for admissions starting September 1, 2011.
