Sisses help naman. I need opinions. :D never pakong nakakapagtry ng brazilian wax or kahit anong kind ng wax sa part ng body ko. pero it seems that I really need it na "down there" kasi ang bushy na niya. :( And I don't know kung pupunta bako sa salon or DIY nalang kaya? kasi nahihiya talaga ako. ayoko ng bikini lang, gusto ko lahat talaga. pag brazilian wala talagang suot diba? nakakahiya kasi baka kung [textspeak!]-ano pumasok sa isip nung gagawa. baka mandiri. haha.

pag DIY, maganda kaya Strip it or nanny Rose? or veet? gusto ko kasi ready na lahat wala ng ipprepare pang kung [textspeak!]-ano. and cold wax sana. :D

if you plan to go to a waxing salon, it's best if you trim first. my practice is, to trim the hair to at most 1cm long. they wil trim naman for you, i just prefer lang that i do it first.

don't think about the the waxers, that's their job. best you can do for them is practice proper hygiene before going there. :) lalo na sa laybare, because they don't give you anything to clean yourself with before the procedure. ok lang 'yan, sanay na sila dyan. :)

^ Pwede din strip sis, kung nahihiya ka talaga... And less worries pa, be wise nalang sa pagpili ng strips na bibilhin mo.

yung brand na Strip It yung balak ko sis. kasi madali lang daw tas affordable pa. okay kaya siya to use "down there" ? :)

Service ba to or DIY lang? :)

DIY lang.  Si hubby ang aking technician.  He is getting better at it. :)

i waxed my legs a few months ago using nanny rose. at first, it was very nice kasi ganda talaga sa legs na walang hair. i exfoliate naman or use scrubs pero hindi regularly. when the hairs started growing, ang kati kati nila and may mga ingrown hairs. i scratched a lot and most of them ay nagleave ng mark sa legs ko.. :( i know kasalanan ko naman.. hehe

Mas lalong kumapal yung hair ko sa legs after waxing.. Kaya atleast every two weeks kailangan na magpawax and regular dapat ang pag exfoliate to avoid ingrown hair. Itchy pagtumutubo pero dapat iwasan kamutin. Natry ko na din before yung mga cream/lotion pero super tapang to the point na nakakasunog ng skin  >:( better pa din ang waxing  :)

kung underarm lang naman or legs pwede na yung strip it, DIY nlng at home. but if you wanna be bare down there let a technician do it for you. sa una lang naman nakakahiya but like what other sissies said, it's their job they know what to do and a tip will make them smile and when you come back a much better service will be waiting for you. i used to have it in makati yung sa ground ng sommerset bldg facing ayala triangle, inaabangan ko lagi yung promo nila hehe, may free coffee or tea ka pa. :)

^you have to take off your bottoms. yes you'll be asked to open your legs. yes you will be asked to lie on your front since they will remove your hair behind as well.

Bat parang nagkachicken skin ako nung magpawax ako last Tuesday :( and Ingrown hairs galore. The wax they used was the type na tumitigas nalang then strip, no need for cloth strips. Help :(

yes yes yes yes..... the technician will tell you what position para di ka masyado masaktan pag remove, yung tipong comfortable pa din syo and expect mo na kwento sya ng kwento maybe to divert you and bear the pain. mawawala na din yung hiya mo kung the same yung taong gagawa syo and she may recommend pa some procedures that you can do at home to take care more of your fifi...

sa mga sis natin who have undergone brazilian, on a scale of 1-5 (1 being the lowest, 5 the highest), how painful magpa-brazilian? and hindi ba sya ganun ka-itchy pag nagstart na mag grow yung hair down under? and ano preps ang ginawa nyo to minimize the pain? i'm planning to have a brazilian kasi about 2 wks from now. thanks in advance sa replies!  :)

^ Depende naman yung pain sa tolerance level mo.  So the rating would vary from one individual to another.

Hindi naman siya itchy when the hair starts to grow back.  Mas itchy pa nga when you shave.

Backread ka na lang on how to minimize the pain.  Some take painkillers 30 minutes or an hour before the procedure.  Some put numbing cream on the area.

I agree. It depends on your pain tolerance level. Ako kasi I don't take painkillers kasi I'm allergic to NSAIDs so tiis-ganda talaga. Yung first time ko with laybare. Sakit parang di ako makaupo ng maayos after. Nag boxers nga ako kasi ayokong naiipit o nagagasgas.. Haha.. Sorry tmi. :D

After nun, ok naman na. Medyo masakit pa rin pero mas kaya na. Sometimes itchy sa upper part lang pag patubo na pero hindi pa rin kasing kati pag nagshave. I apply HHN SBO lang pag itchy kahit pati sa legs or other parts na pinawax. Effective naman for me.

hi sis! thanks sa reply. average naman ang pain tolerance ko. hindi ka naman ba nahirapan or na-hapdi-an when you need to wash or take a bath (though may nabasa ako na 8-12hrs ata after brazilian waxing ka dapat maligo)? nag-ease na ba yun pain after a day or two? thanks again sis!  :)

@sis meimei: i only take paracetamol or celecoxib pag di ko na ma-take yung pain (gaya nung na-cs ako) pero if i have fever, nagkaka allergic reaction din ako paracetamol, weird no? Hehe....

@sis slickchic: bawal basain talaga so what i do, i take a bath before i go to the salon and i always have my waxing done late in the afternoon (or early evening). Kinabukasan na babasain ulit. The following day, di na sya masyadong masakit (pero minsan medyo sore pa rin, depende talaga). Just take note ha, no lovey-dovey 24 to 48 hrs (ako sinasagad ko 48hrs para sure). Mahirap na magka infection. ;)

i'm just lucky to have a quite high pain tolerance level. just during the waxing lang ako napapaaray but after the waxing is done, ok na ko. depende talaga sa tao yun. tama sila it is not as itchy as when you shave. better have it done in the afternoon and atleast 24 hours after sya pede basain pero minsan sinasabi nila na after 4hours pede na, but i prefer it longer for more precautions.
