I had mine nung 36 weeks pregnant ako sa Beeswax, organic wax yung ginagamit nila, they also provide great service. Wala naman nangyari untowards effect sakin kahit I'm pregnant. Hindi rin siya traumatic. Very happy pa ko sa results. Medyo mahal lang, pero worth it naman. 750 hot brazillian wax.

I just tried full leg waxing at Lay Bare. It was my first time and yet good experience. Good thing mataas pain tolerance ko, the girl who assisted me recommends Brazilian, since mukhang kaya ko naman daw considering na relax lang ako the whole time. I'll definitely go back this week for arms naman. :)

I never try this stuff.

Pero I wanna know din about brazilian wax. No idea at all, ano po ba yun, di ba nakakahiya magpawax hehe. Pano nila ginagawa? I mean hay pano ba tanong ko dapat, expose ang area n yun sa kanila syempre because how would they do the waxing if not..? tama po ba ako?

nakakaloka tanong ko hahaha.

the first time talaga, of course you'll be unsure of what to do, mahihiya ka. but think na lang na this is their job, sanay na yang mga yan. pag brazilian, i give an extra P100 tip, just 'cause.

^^^^ I didn't expect na ganun reaction ko, I was expecting na medyo masakit pero hindi naman. There are some parts sa legs ko na medyo masakit, although tolerable naman.

Will backread sa older threads for more infos re: Brazilian. I'll try it but not now.

Sis may share lang ako. Di kasi ako maka get-over. Tas nag-open yung top drawer niya. Walang cover. Tapos nandun lang sa drawer na yun. Tas yung katabi nun isa used na tas binalik sa container tas parang may hairs na!!! Grabe! Hair everywhere!  ::)

naalala ko itong post ni sis plumpista when i had my UA and eyebrow threading last saturday sa lay bare eastwood cybermall.   :D  when the waxing technician finished my UA waxing and left the room, sinilip (and ni-inspect) ko yung side table nila, while i was dressing up. fortunately, genuinely clean naman yung waxing room where my UA waxing was done. the empty container which contained the wax was disposed properly in the trash can. even yung side table malinis din and walang dust. even if the area is a bit small, at least well-maintained naman. i also noticed that my waxing technician used tissue and cotton buds when applying powder and the soothing lotion, respectively. meron kasi ibang waxing salons kamay lang ang gamit. hope they keep it that way.  :)

ako din naalala ko yun post ni sis plumpista nung nagpawax me sa laybare market..good thing malinis talaga sila and maayos kaya i'm happy kasi suki na talaga me dun.. They use tissue or cotton buds din when applying powder and cream.. pero minsan pag super daming customer hands nalang gamit nila :( pero minsan ok lang na ganon kasi i can see naman na they wash and sanitize their hands before the waxing starts.

I bought a natural honey wax in SM Watsons. It's effective in removing the hair unlike other honey wax that I've tried

^nakabili na ako ng nanny rose tinry ko agad .. mas gusto ko to kesa strip it kasi mas sticky kaya sumasama lahat ng hair ..  katsa yung pinangpupull kong cloth kasi mas maganda din :)

^ onga sis mas sticky nga sis Nanny Rose.

On the other hand Strip It medyo mas runny so mas okay sa akin pag cold wax. Since I'm avoiding burns, I prefer the consistency of Strip It pag cold.
