oo nga sis eh. i don't like shaving. actually i know shaving doesn't really make the hair thicker/more coarse. only the tip na unang lumalabas kaya it looks as if it's thicker. kaso kasi sa laser i think lahat ng hair mawawala eh. gusto ko maging manipis lang  katakot yung wala ng hair

Share ko lang experience ko: I used to shave before... My hair got thicker, the strands appeared flat rather than round sa sobrang kapal but after a few times of waxing, the amount of hair regrowth is the same pero the hair was finer. I thought if given more time to grow babalik yung flat strands pero that never happened even with 3 months interval, manipis pa rin yung strands nya.

Just had my 2nd BW done at laybare. Waah! Sakit pa rin. Di nga sila consistent so might as well stick with 1 technician na lang that you really liked. Haven't tried diy althugh i bought strip it wax na. Baka magkamali ako e.

di ko kayang i-maintain ang wax though ok sana kasi malinis. kaya lang grabe na kelangan pa hintayin humaba... 2wk akong di pwedeng mag-shortsleeves/sleeveless kasi maghe-hello sya..

^sis, i'm sure they won't judge your private area... Lol.. i was so embarassed at first pero sabi nga ng nagwawax sa akin, sa dami na ng nakikita nila, hindi na rin nila matatandaan itsura ng vajayjay ng each clients nila. Hehe... Ako nga may vertical c section e. Dedma na lang. Hehe...

^Sis, as adviced, I exfoliate din with loofa after 48 hours (or more) and I apply HHN Sunflower Beauty Oil. I found it effective for ingrown hairs. If I apply SBO, nawawala yung redness and kati.

^sagutin ko na sis ha. Sa ground floor chowking, lakarin mo lang yung hallway na yun, you will pass by face shop, jag, gingersnaps, bago ka dumating national bookstore, makikita mo na yung stall sa gitna puro organic products (hhn, giga, ilog maria). Halos tapat sya ng maliit na bpi express.

ganyan din akin sis. parang ganun pa din naman yung growth, although merong strands na finer. pero ganun pa din, after ilang days may tumutubo na. di nangyayari sa akin yung sinasabi nila na hairless for weeks coz of waxing haha

Ganun din ako sis. Pero it really works for some kasi sa sis in law ko, 1 month bago magpa wax ulit ng UA. Ako, 2 weeks lang balik na ulit. What I like about waxing lang is the smooth feeling after. Unlike shaving na nagkaka chicken skin and naiiritate minsan or nagdadarken. Also, when I used to shave noon, minsan within the day tumutubo na ulit. Almost everyday kailangan mag shave. Ngayon kahit papano, may ilang days akong hair-free sa UA.

What type of waxing is better? hot or cold?

^I think it's just a matter of preference. I, for one, prefer hot wax. Mas nasasaktan ako sa cold wax eh.

i also use wax for my underarms. i like the one sold in watson's na Nanny Rose queen bee wax. i warm it a bit so oven toaster para lumambot. haha. okay naman sya sa underarm kasi smooth ang feeling afterwards. :3
