Lay bare ako lagi nagpapa wax and i've had half legs done twice already pero itong second time ang kati nung patubo sya, sa ua ko naman hindi ganun and hindi rin yun nangyari the first time i tried it. Parang ang daming in grown hairs. I exfoliate na nga with loofa e. may mali ba sa nag wax kaya ganon? Ang kati e :(

okay sana sa lay bare kaso hindi consistent ang quality ng paggawa nila. i am still nursing 2 blackened scars caused by ingrown hairs sa legs ko.  :(

I stopped going to waxing salons years ago.  Now, I do the waxing with the help of my husband.  Minsan pa nga I make my own wax para mas tipid kung talagang kapos sa budget... matrabaho nga lang.

re: laybare, i agree. quality is not consistent. iv'e tried a lot of branches around the metro, & sometimes with the same technician, but procedure is not exactly the same. some techs put powder before & cream after, some just either, & some, none at all.

hair growth may also be different each time. there are times na ang linis talaga ng pagkagawa (tipong ang sakit ng hila, tapos ni-tweezer pa, pag hinipo mo ang smooth) pro just after a week my stubble or ingrown na...minsan naman, parang dali-dali lang pero 3 weeks na tumubong hair super nipis lang...but you can probably say that it's hair's active/passive cycle...anyhow, i hope they are trained the same way para kahit saang branches & whoever the tech is, kampante ka na pareho ang quality.  8)

I went to lay bare last night and asked my technician about the in grown hair on my legs. Iba kasi ang gumawa sa akin nung time na yun kasi it was my technician's day off when i went there and i didnt know. She said they are trying a new style of waxing but not sure if hiyang sa akin kaya nagkaganon legs ko, or baka daw nabasa ko legs ko after waxing or baka i wore pants kaagad. Sabi ko super kati minsan gusto ko nang kamutin. Sabi nya basta i-scrub (exfoliate) ko lang daw. I'm hoping it would go away soon. :(

girls, is it true that if you wax regularly gradually mawawala na yung mga hair? i'm planning to do this kasi instead of laser. gusto ko lang kasi maging manipis to the point of almost invisible. pag laser kasi feeling ko lahat pati yung maliliit na hair mawawala and i need them for protection... what do you think

^yes... it will gradually slow down hair growth... but not as fast as LHR...

hai growth will be finer too... but when you shave again, back to coarse hair :P

oo nga sis eh. i don't like shaving. actually i know shaving doesn't really make the hair thicker/more coarse. only the tip na unang lumalabas kaya it looks as if it's thicker. kaso kasi sa laser i think lahat ng hair mawawala eh. gusto ko maging manipis lang  :'( katakot yung wala ng hair

based on my experience (im balbon), shaving hair does make it coarse, kasi you're just cutting it, so the roots are still there, it's harder & more painful to get waxed or lasered. iv been getting waxed for 3-5 years, hair does grow thinner but napansin ko, longer. according to the ones who's been doing it for more than 10 years, it will NEVER disappear on it's own or be too thin it's invisible. that might only be possible for LASER, i've had 6 sessions already & the tech disclaimed it's PERMANENT REMOVAL it's just REDUCTION. you'll be virtually hair-free, for about 3 monthst to a year, but as hair cycle begins, hair grows back, pero konti na lang, & manipis na talaga. siyempre, lalo na kung madalas ka mag-sleeveless or swimsuit, pluck mo pa rin un, so kakapal na naman.  ::)

ako I always go to Laybare for brazilian wax then sa Let's Face It for ua. Mas prefer ko kasi yung warm wax sa ua..Ewan ko ba hinahanap hanap ko yung init..lol..Ang hirap kasi ng DIY, I've tried before yung Sally Hansen sa ua, ang hirap pag ikaw lang so I had to ask my mom to do it for me.

Mga sis using Strip It wax. Gusto ko kasi i-microwave sana kasi di ko carry yun stickiness pag cold wax lang eh. anong setting ko kaya ilalagay? Low at 5 secs?

Thank you!

Hi Guys! Share ko lang:

I'm an avid LayBare customer ever since I tried doing their EB threading. Now, from EB, UA, Bikini and Brazilian Waxing. Their super great! But tama kayo, some of them are not consistent. I've been a customer of LayBare SM Fairview and so far, consistent sila  ;)

Super happy with Strip It :) bought it in Sesou Trinoma.

Trulaloo yun sa Laybare iba iba gawa. I like SM North branch, dun ako lagi nagpapathreading. Ni-try ko once sa Katipunan. Hala ka ang panget. No no na talaga ako babalik dun.

Gusto ko mag DIY Brazilian...
