I was using Veet before but mabilis tumubo hair kaya I decided to go to Lay Bare. I usually go there every two weeks when I was still in Manila. But I can't find anything like it here in SG. :(

what do you do pag tubo na hair like sa UA and legs? di pa naman pwede i-wax until they're 1/4 inch long. di muna sleeveless or wear shorts/skirts? kasi eto prob ko, pano pag may lakad that you have to wear something that would show the part na tubo na hair?  :D

since baging tubo pa lang yung hairs, i just cut them with scissors...
pag madami na sila, i shave...
then if i think tumubo na halos lahat ng hairs, no shaving or cutting for  week...
then i go to LFI for UA waxing...

mine stays hair free for about 2-3 months...

how long before the hair grows on your UA?

Hi! Were you recommending this product to me? Thanks! But I'm looking for those that uses NO STRIPS like sa Lay Bare salons.

I think you're referring to S.I.A.R. (http://kikayonabudget.multiply.com/photos/album/15/The_S.I.A.R._Project). Aside from Nanay Earth, they're the ones selling no-strip wax. I bought there 2x na, okay sya. Tapos hindi na sila ma-contact last year. Then I saw them in UP bazaar sometime Dec. Okay pa rin yung product nila, Im still satisfied :)

I waxed my ua on my own last night :) with the help of my bf because of the stretching the skin and pulling of the strip that is needed. We bought the Strip It small tub at Sensou Market-Market. Mejo nahirapan talaga ako dahil sa anggulo ng pagpull ng cloth etc. May konting bleeding but it stopped agad. May natirang hair so ginupit ko nalang :) Dahil nakapagtry na ko sa Laybare, interested ako sa no strip waxing na yan :))

^bleeding? you should have put powder on the area before waxing -- this way the wax will adhere to the hair and not your skin  ;) besides making sure the area is dry

girli3 - sis, ginagamit mo ba siya sa underarm? i've tried it hindi kumakapit, baka mali lang ako ng gamit. Kamusta naman yung tubo ng hair mo? numinipis ba?

^hair should at least be 1/4 inch.... then apply powder to the are prior to waxing to make sure that the wax only adheres to the hair & not your skin... it also absorbs excess oil  ;)

^strip it & strip tease are pretty much the same.... sister companies sila... the owners are relatives... strip it was created for a much "wholesome" name/brand  :)

i tried to to wax my legs kanina.  i used epilin wax.  since first time ko mag wax ng DIY medyo pumalpak hehe,  ang hapdi when I removed the wax.  i did not put powder, i just washed my legs and let it dry.  di ko naubos yung hair, and nag-red ng konti yung legs ko, i got scared.  tapos me natira pang wax sa legs ko, medyo nahirapan akong alisin,  i washed my legs sa warm water and i used L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil kasi natakot ako gumamit ng soap baka humapdi.  then i put body oil.  buti now maayos na sya, di na mapula.

^ you should not wash sis it will cause irritation because the pores are open... next time use a damp cloth sis ;)

to soothe skin, you might wanna use aloe based products or hydrocortisone cream (pharex P98 / 10g)  :)

gusto ko sana mag DIY Brazillian.. Masakit ba sis? First time ko lang gagawin.. Hehe.. Advise naman ng magandang pangwax. So far Epilin pa lang nagamit ko kaya lang nakakasunog ng skin pag mainit. Nakakaitim. Nung bago ko kasi start IPL session ko mga a month before nagwax ko with the help of my mom. Kaya lang dahil natagalan bago ko maalis parang nasunog kainis. Pero okay na ngayun with the help of EMC. :D

Help naman sis. :D Stip it ba pwede? Di ba paulit ulit?
