waxing is suitable for all types of hair... what's important is that it's at least 1/4 inches long
- apply powder on the area to be waxed so that excess oil will be absorbed & it also serves as a protection - so that the wax adheres to the hair & not to your skin
- do exfoliate regularly (at least once a week - i use abonne spa milk salt scrub)... this prevents ingrown hair
- apply the wax the same way the hair grows... then pull it off in the opposite direction
- you may opt to apply aloe based products after waxing to soothe your skin

Epilin and strip it pa lang nagagamit ko na pang wax. May ibang brands ba kayo na ma- rerevommend na better than these two? Thanks!

i wax my underarms on my own kasi kaya ko naman.. di ko pa nattry yung local brands of wax.. nagpapabili ako sa tita ko at pinapadala lang nya.. pero it's basically the same stuff strip it is made of i think.. san ba ako makakabili ng waxing strips na reusable? i read somewhere that they used strips of cloth that they used for jeans or something like that something fabric..

@pretty_in_victorian wax strips could be bought at dept. stores like landmark/watsons etc.... epelling yung brand ng strip & it's around P30/pack  ;)

@graezieylicious you may use popsicle sticks ;) medyo mahirap kasi bumili ng medyo mataba like tongue depressor sticks... wholesale sa mercury drug :P

@summerchic we have different pain thresholds... but pain is really really tolerable  ;) kala ko din dati masakit... pero nung ginawa ko ok lang naman siya...

I'm looking for local suppliers or sellers of those non-strip waxes like those used in LayBare. So far I have seen only one seller on Sulit (not NanayEarth--sobrang soft). Ok naman sya. ANyone know any other sellers and who have actually tried their product?

dati i bought reusable strips sa tbs. kaso super duper tagal na yun. cheaper option is to buy a piece of katcha/canvass tapos gupit gupitin mo nalang into strips.

Kuntento naman ako kasi very easy to use and not messy.
