hello po doc and sissies! i'm glad to have found this thread.

Doc, may itatanong sana ako. i noticed a slight pain at the right side of my stomach below the rib cage.there are times na may pain pero slight lang naman almost everyday. and palagi din akong naiihi, wala namang pain pag iihi ako, no unusual color sa urine. please give me an advise doc. thank u in advance! hi doc. Tanong ko lang sa urinalysis result ko . I got a +2 urobilinogen and +2 blood. Referral for internist na po ba yun? May liver damage na po ba ako dahil sa +2 urobilinogen na yun?

Please ff-up with your physician (who requested the urinalysis). There are many possible reasons for the +2 urobilinogen and +2 blood in your urine. You may need further tests/work-up.

Doc, totoo po ba na 2 months lang dapat itake ang ferrous sulfate? Masama po ba kapag itinuloy tuloy ang paginom?

Nope. There's no "rule" on how long you should take Ferrous Sulfate, unless it was prescribed or instructed to you by your physician.

Personally, I advise my patients (who are anemic) to take Ferrous Sulfate for only 1 month, then I request for repeat complete blood count. Excessive iron is harmful to the body. Plus, the side effects (abdominal pains, constipation) are bothersome for some.

Ah menstruation-related pala. Some pre-emp clinics do not allow female employees to give urine specimens within 1 week of their mens. Anyways, glad to hear that the repeat urinalysis was normal.

Complete blood count is a simple blood extraction, fasting is not required. Cost depends on kung saan mo ipapagawa. You can have it done anywhere, anytime. All you need is a doctor's request.

hi doc, baket po kaya madalas ako pulikatin sa legs, may time na both binti sinusumpong po ng pulikat! and may time na pag kagising and pag nag strech ako ng binti umaatake din po.

May BF always feel hands numbness. As in from fingers til his arms daw po and usually both hands, then there are times din po na he can't grip with his hands. Hindi nya mahawakan ng matagal mga maliliit na bagay kaya laging nakakabasag ng baso. Pag bagong gising naman siya hindi nia maopen ang door using one hand. ginagawa nia is iniipit nia sa wrists nia ang door knob para lang maopen. Nag woworry na ko sakanya. Ang weak ng hands nia.. Any advice po?

When did those symptoms start to occur? Medyo worrisome nga iyan. Please see a Rehab Doctor immediately. Further test/s could be done to test the nerves and muscles on both arms & hands, and baka pati kailangan i-examine yung neck and upper back niya.

I think that was last year. Nung nag start syang magwork sa isang ice cream factory, parang hindi po yata nkayanan ng kamay nya anginit tapos sobrang lamig. Ng consult na sya before sa doctor and he was advised to undergo therapy kaso hindi po nya ginawa, nagresign nalang po sya and took the meds that was prescribed. Then lately nalang po ulit nya nararanasan mga un. Ano sa tingin mo sakit nya doc if ibbase natin sa mga binigay kong symptoms?Also, what does it do sa neck and upper back nya??  I just want to have an idea para na rin mapilit ko syang magpa check up. Thank you so much po sa reply.

doc tanong ko lang po kasi nagmiscarrage po ako 1 week ago 20 weeks na po yung baby ko then meron akong firboid 5cm, sabi ng ob ko balik daw ako after 3 months..ano ba karaniwang ginagawa sa fibroid na ganun kalaki?iinom ba ng vitamins/supplements? natatakot ako magbuntis ulit although sabi ng ob wala naman daw kinalaman yung fibroid kaya nag-stop yung heartbeat ng baby ko

I cannot say kung ano ang sakit niya because maraming pwedeng rason. Thus, there's the need to see a specialist & to undergo tests. Plus, matagal na iyan (1 year na). The medicines may not be enough at this time (or kung may relief man, sandali lang iyun). The time frame itself plus the recurrence of symptoms could be clues that tell us that that may be something serious.

I mentioned the neck & upper back because based on Anatomy, some parts of the spinal cord (at those areas) are responsible for muscle strength in the arms. The roots of the nerves that supply the arms come from the neck & upper back area.

If my description is kinda confusing, my apologies. Mahirap kasi ipaliwanag dito without illustrations para mas madaling maintindihan.

I understand doc. Sabi daw po nung previous doctor nya, Neuritis daw po un. Nung mejo ok na po kasi sya tinigil na din niyang uminom ng meds,. SO I'm thinking na baka bumalik nga sakit nya na un..

anong doctor ba pwede magpatingin ng singaw bukod sa dentist? recurrent singaw ng mom ko eh, palipat-lipat lang tapos lagi pa silang pair. after gumaling nung isang pair, may papalit na naman.

Hi Doc! what does a collapsed gall bladder mean? kasi sa last CT scan ko nakita na collapsed daw gall bladder and my doc said baka kailangang i-remove pero during my operation di na sya nagpatawag ng surgeon for that.. ano pa implications if collapsed ang gall bladder? Thanks in Advance!

Follow up lang po Doc, i had catheter for almost a month after my TAHBSO then dun nag start mag swell ang right lower quadrant actually the swelling is more on upper pubic area when i fail to void  on time, is this normal doc? i was only told to massage the area to relieve swelling. nawawala naman sya then re-occurs pag its about time to void. TIA!
