hi docshe, regarding po dun sa subserous myoma ko ask ko lang po possible po ba na manganak ako ng normal? or pag cs naman pedeng isama na rin yun sa pagtanggal. sabi naman sakin nung OB ko safe naman si baby kasi asa labas naman kasi yung myoma ko. pede rin po ba isama sa sss yung pagpapaopera sa myoma ko. thanks

One more question tho, a friend gave birth last April 22 (nsd), she hasn't visited her ob a week after giving birth, and hasn't had her episiotomy checked to date. Is there a possibility that she'll develop an infection as caused by the episiotomy? thanks

You can canvass from different reputable diagnostic centers like New World, Asiaic and the likes.
Regarding the episiotomy , if she followed instructions on how to care for the wound then infection is less likely. However, it is still recommended that she follow up with her Ob Gyn.

Hi doc, last saturday nagkaron po ako ng pigsa sa may tuhod. Nilagyan ko po agad ng warm compress tapos medyo lumaki po yung pinakabilog niya then pinisa ko, pinalabas ko yung mga nana. Kaso ngayon po yung pinakasugat parang nagheaheal na kaso namamaga po sa paligid niya saka namumula, sumasakit din minsan di ako makalakad ng maayos. Ano po ba ibig sabihin nun, pagaling na kaya yung pigsa or may infection pa din? TIA!

Hi Doc She, is it safe na ipatangal ang myoma kasabay ng pag nanganak ka thru CS operation? Usually po ba surgeon ang nagtatangal ng myoma or OB? TIA.

Cho- probably the pus inside was not adequately drained and since the wound is healing already it may be trapped inside. You definitely need to be seen by a surgeon for proper assessment and antibiotic prescription.

Marssie- depends on the size of the myoma if this is really indicated. Usually the Ob GYN does the procedure.

Hi doc. Found few bruises on my body. Inner forearm, thigh and 2 sa knees. Is this normal?

Vain doll- are there history of trauma? Did you fall or something? You can have your blood checked for CBC with platelet count, clotting time and bleeding time.

Kimmidoll- I would suggest that you follow up with an OB GYN .

Kimmidoll- of course not. It looks like you may have an infection but nothing beats a physical examination by a doctor (OB GYN) . It really hard to diagnose and prescribe medication without the completion of a physical exam. Hope you understand!

Hi Doc She, may German measles po ako sa ngayon. Niresetahan po ako ng doc ng antihistamine na good for 5 days at prednisone na good for 3 days.
2 days na po ako naka isolate sa ngayon. Mga ilang days po ako dapat naka isolate? Nalimutan ko kasi itanong sa doc.
