Filipiniana Birthday theme

Hi mga sis, I'm planning my kid's pinoy themed party.   I know na that I want to use banderitas and fruits, flowers as decor.  And of course serve filipino food   and have pabitin and palayok

Any suggestions on invitation designs and wordings (in Tagalog)?
Also suggestions for other kiddie activities and games?
And suggestions for loot bag content to put in the bayongs?

This is a DIY party, so your suggestions will be very very helpful

This is fun!  Here are some suggestions ...

- for loot bags ... use mini bayong or tampipi as container ...
- you might want to put native cookies like uraro, apas, or pastillas instead of candy
- sago't gulaman na welcome drink for your guests ...
- pastillas with nice japanese paper na cover ... you can use as your escort card ... you can attach the guests' table number to the pastillas ...
- dessert buffet na filipino desserts ... bibingka and puto bumbong station, halo-halo station, buko - - -- sherbet with the traditional lalagyan/gawaan ng sherbet, assorted kakanin ...
- use banana leaves as plate covers ... even if you're using regular plate puwede pa din patungan ng banana leaf ...
- give out filipino books as prizes ...
- you can place mga sungka sa tables for kids' activities ...
- for the invitation ... you can narrate the details of the party like an alamat ...
- for the centerpieces ... you can use palayok as accent ...
- your caterer can use Big Palayoks instead of chafing dish ...

I will look for my former client's file ... her wedding theme was pista sa nayon ... even if wedding yun ... im sure some details you can use ...

@ KD- I'm thinking of the same theme too since our venue is in Museong Pambata. But Im not yet sure. Sabi mga ni hubby pabago bago ako.
