^happened to me too. I gave her my password knowing na wala naman sya mahuhuli. i forgot that there are archived messages of my ex, fwb...etc.
We fought once but since then it's smooth sailing  ;)

She gave me her password before, I did too...

She changed it months ago, tinanong ko siya kung bibigay pa niya yun. She said no kasi for privacy reasons.

Which is better than having me know it kasi di ko mapigilan yun urge na i-check ng i-check... Paranoid, yeah.

Nagpalit na din ako, pero if she asks for it I'd give her the password.

Depends on you if obsessive ka na magcheck, pero in my opinion it is better na you don't know your passwords. Trust lang.

I think it's better if you don't share your password for security reasons. And you should trust your significant other enough that you don't have to pry into their email and other accounts. :)

I'd rather not know and I'd rather he not let me know either. Kung may gawin syang kalokohan behind my back, bahala sya. But it's one of my ways of letting him have space and not invading his privacy. I don't want mine invaded too, anyway.

IMO. Knowing each others password is not necessary. You are entitle to your own privacy especially if BF- GF stage pa lang. Kanin pa mag-asana na kayo, Hindi parin necessary yung ganung set-up. Kami ng hubby ko, we do browse to each others FB, he'd given me his pw pero di ko tinatanadaan for the reason na Hindi naman Kai's kelangan. The basis of this mentality is trust. If you that've enough trust in your relationship, Hindi mo na kelangan problemahin pa na alamin pw's Nya.

We're using the same iPad, and madalas gamit ko ang phone nya and phone ko, so tingin ko wala naman tinatago yun.
Trust lang. :)

Nung in a relationship palang kami ng husband ko, I never felt the need to know his passwords. Privacy in a relationship should still be present. It's not like you own each other already.

My BF and I knows each others passwords. We're getting married na in four months, too. He knows all my passwords.. facebook, twitter, even bank accounts. Ganun din naman ako sa kanya. It works for us. Lalo na most ng relationship namen eh long distance. So why not. hehe.

Being a guytalker here, Its better siguro na wag na lang malaman ang password, for me kasi ito ang madalas pinag aawayan, konting post lang na nangangamusta [textspeak!] mga dating kaibigan ay napaghihinalaan na, its better na lang siguro na tanungin na lang directly si partner kung nagdududa na.

Tingin ko lang, if you know your s.o.'s password, you'll be more prone to being praning and suspicious kaya check lang ng check. But that's just me. :)

^ true sis, you will be tempted to look at it from time to time. LOL

dati i was asking for all his passwords. pero we already reached a point in our relationship, i think, that i don't want to check na. we've been changing our passwords for security purposes online and i don't bother to ask anymore. it's a matter of Trust and Respect na lang din siguro. kasi i learned na kahit couple kayo, you still need to give each other space and privacy.

Only for accounts that involve you both. Like for married couples, there are bank enrollments with both your names, so yes, that is a given. For personal accounts, like e-mail, social networking sites or even mobile phone, you don't necessarily need to know that. Leave out those details as private. Also, even PIN to your ATM accounts, credit cards for cash advances and others for security purposes are meant to be private and kept to one self. Again, it's a matter of choice, but personally, this is where I stand.

We were very new when I asked for his password sa Facebook. May incident kasi na I wanted him to take down immediately so he offered na ako na lang magtanggal. During nung time na yon, I stalked his ex, read his messages with friends na puro ako lang naman pinaguusapan nila (before ko siya sagutin), how kilig siya sa akin and all. Hahaha.

Pero true yung sabi ni babythug28. Magsasawa ka rin tumingin lalo na you trust your partner naman. I open his Facebook if he wants me to read something pero pag wala, wala.

But yes, common password ng jowa ko and sa akin din for all across my online accounts so alam niya kung ano passwords ko. With atm pin naman, never ko namemorize yung kanya, wala naman akong balak nakawan siya. Haha
