sweet gelatin
« on: October 27, 2011, 08:50:12 pm »
ingredients:

1 nestle purpose cream
1 sachet of mr. gulaman
4 cups of water
2 big can of alaska evaporada
1 big can of alaska condensada
1 small can of alaska condensada

optional: any fruits ( mango, buko with some juices, pineapple with some juices, or you can also use crushed oreo )

boil ka lang ng water (4cups of water) pag medyo mainit na siya you can add mr gulaman, stir well kasi pag hindi siya nahalo titigas siya agad, then you can add the nestle cream, evap and condensada. halo ka lang ng halo then taste it ok lang ng hindi siya matamis kasi tatamis pa siya pag lumamig na siya.

sa container mo, lagay mo na yung pineapple bits with some juices (for example eto gusto mo) then ilagay mo na yung made gulaman.

then have it refrigerated.

lastly. eating time...

enjoy  ;)

-cost niya sis around P350.00

joining..  :)

ako din minsan gumagawa ng gelatin pag trip ko, hehe. meron brand ng gulaman na mas maganda but more expensive nga lang -- ALSA. (OT) eto usually ginagamit ko for buko pandan kasi matamis na sya, onti asukal na lang lalagay. pero since mahal nga sya mr. gulaman usually ginagamit ko din for gelatin.  minsan ginagawa ko orange flavored. at ang ginagamit ko pang-flavor? Royal (un soda) hehe. pauso ng mommy ko to, in fairness masarap, orange flavor nga, hehe. then i also put pineapple tidbits para masarap.  :)

mr. gulaman din ang ginagamit ni mother-in-law sa paggawa ng gelatin dessert at buco pandan.  i wanna try making buco pandan for my kid.  ano ba secret para maging medyo makunat ang gelatin? i have this favorite buco pandan, from nathaniel's, familiar ba kayo dito?  sa san fernando pampanga lang ako nakakabili nito.  ang sarap ng gelatin na ginagamit nila sa buco pandan, makunat sya, parang [textspeak!] sa consistency ng sago or black pearl ng zagu.  pashare naman if you have tips.  thanks!

Hello sis beatrice zuri..  May I know how many servings will your recipe yield?  For the gulaman, may flavor ang ginamit mo?  Hope to hear from you. Thanks!

and sis for mr gulaman, walang flavor yung binibili ko, ibat ibang color lang yon, its like depende sayo kung anong color mo gusto yung gulaman mo, pero ako i always use the pink one.  :D

Hi sis beatrize zuri..  Nabili ko na ang mga ingredients.  I just wanted to confirm the procedure of your recipe.

I will follow the Mr Gulaman instruction found at the box but instead of 6 cups, 4 cups ang gagamitin to one sachet of gulaman.

Pag naluto na and hardened or naging jelly like, puwede ng i-cubes ang gulaman.

I mix in the rest of the ingredients (condensed/evap milk, Nestle purpose cream and pineapple tidbits and juice) with the gulaman?

May I know if 1 big and 1 small can of condensed milk is not too sweet naman?

Hope to hear from you, thanks!

Hi sis beatrize zuri..  Thanks for the clarification, heh heh.. Pasensya na I didn't read your text properly.  I have some questions lang..

Do I have to wait for the water to boil before adding the gulaman powder or pag mainit na puwede ng i-add yun gulaman powder?

When do I add the cream and milk? When the gulaman is still cooking? Or after the gulaman is cooked and the pan is removed from heat before adding the milk?

I am planning to share this with 25 adults and 5 kids this Saturday.  I am thinking of putting the whole mixture into a big glass bowl so each will just use their spoon to scoop the gulaman.  I have tested whether the bowl will be able to contain the whole ingredients so far kasya naman. The diameter of the base of the bowl measures 4.5", I will cover the base with pineapple tidbits and little bit of the juice or can I use one whole small can of pineapple tidbits and add a little amount of juice?

Thanks again!

hope it helps  ;D

gagawa ako ng gelatin this weekend... nun bata ako lagi gumagawa tita ko nito...
