hi girls, I thought I'd start a new thread regarding the meet and greet with our favorite Authors!

I'd been lucky enough to meet and talk to Richelle Mead when she went on tour for the last VA book. i really envy you, i really wanted to meet Richelle Mead and get my books signed.

I don't know if I can go to Nicholas Sparks' book signing, not a very big fan, but I also like some of his books.

^Sana nga mag-international tour naman sya (Richelle Mead), which is hindi na malayong mangyari kasi madami namang international best seller authors ang nagpupunta na sa'tin. Naisip ko, kung si Judith McNaught siguro yung nag-book signing, maleta dala ko.

Lucky naman fans of Nicholas Sparks. But unfortunately, I don't read any of his books.

When Neil Gaiman was here, my sister was able to meet him and ask for his autograph.

It's also my dream to meet my favorite authors. No experience yet

Same with previous experience/s with favorite celebrities, gustong-gusto ko yung Meet and Greet, dala-dala mo yung CDs or posters tapos nakapila kayo. Then photo-op. Hay.

I just met Nicholas Sparks a while ago at the Podium. Posed for a picture with him, got my book signed with his autograph, and gave him a card (inviting him to my wedding!) Haha! Pangarap lang kaya ko siya ininvite

Neil Gaiman- when we first came to Manila. stalked him for 3 days and on the 3rd day, i finally had my books signed. also attended his meet-and-greet at the Music Museum.

It would be nice if we have literary/graphic novel conventions in manila rin like they have comicon and stuff like that. Been actually to one literary for phil publishers..okay lang din. Pero there was no signup of authors or whatever.

hello everyone, i came across Richelle Mead's FB page yesterday and she posted a booklovers' convention in April 2012. sobrang swerte ko naman na dito sa Chicago! you can check it here:

Authors that will be participating are Richelle Mead, Melissa Dela Cruz, Stephanie Perkins (yes!), Cynthia Hand, Rachel Caine, Alison Noel, Aprilynne Pike and sooo much more! Problema ko, kelangan ng YA (below 20) to register for that, wala ko kilala na mahilig din magbasa! They're accepting volunteers din and syempre I volunteered for the weekend. Sana matanggap akong volunteer!
