ALL ABOUT BABY SHAMPOO

xadie28, kami before my daughter turned 2, we used the same shampoo and body wash. kung aveeno shamppo and body wash, yon lahat. kung mustela, mustela lahat. but my favorit was organic baby by fresh organics, which we use until now for nighttime baths.

for daytime baths ngayon, magkaiba ba. eskulin minnie mouse for her hair and j&j milk bath for her body.

gelic_face, eskulin is available at supermarkets but i personally won't recommend it yet for a 7 year old. masyadong mabango. ang some say hindi tear-free pero di naman namin ito na-notice.

hindi nga po tear free [textspeak!] eskulin. switch kami ngayon sa suave for kids na strawberry scent bango rin saka hiyang hair ng 3 years old daughter ko.

Natatapangan ako sa j&j. Ako mismo na gumagamit nung milk bath nangangati kaya takot akong pagamit Kay baby. He is 16 days old , ang gamit ko is yung mustela for hair & body, so far Wala naman any negative reaction. Bumili rin ako nang Burt bees for baby, wait ko Lang maubos yung mustela then i'll use yung Burt bees.

Sissies question lang, dapat ba iba yung shampoo at body wash ni baby? Aveeno kasi gamit ng baby ko ngayon, napansin ko sobrang dry ng hair nya. What to do mga sis?

Aveeno baby wash & shampoo din gamit namin. So far ok lang si baby dun, gusto ko siya dahil mabango. Mas nadadalian lang kasi ako kung iisa lang ang gamit sa buhok at katawan. Sabi din sa akin ng friends ko na may babies matapang daw ang johnson's, wag ko daw gamitin yun kaya hindi ko sinubukan.

When my daughter was still a newborn, she was allergic to J&J and Aveeno. Cetpahil and Mustela ok sa kanya. I only used J&J milk bath and lotion when she was already a year old.

what is a good shampoo for kids? gusto ko kase mabango pero not too strong, mabilis banlawan and hypoallergenic. I grew up kase na one shampoo for the whole family kami pero sabi nang mga pediatricians matapang daw usually ang mga shampoo for adults and even j&j may pagkamatapang.  Pigeon seems good pero ang available lang kase usually dito small bottles

how old na ba is our kid? And where are you now if you don't mind me asking? Ako kasi I still use Mustela even she's almost 2 na. Tip lang when you look for any brand: DONT BUY ANYTHING with SLS! Maraming "names" ang SLS, so be sure to google those up. Even Aveeno has it. Go for the organic brands if you can. Pansin ko rin ang may SLS kahit J NJ  nakaka-asim ng amoy ng bata (o baka naman ilong ko lang?)lalo pag nagpapawis ang ulo.BTW may eczema kasi anak ko so til now naka Mustela siya.

^^sis, question ko lang yung J&J ba na milk bath may SLS contents din ba yon?, out of stock kasi ang dove liquid soap kaya naka J&J muna siya. ano bang marerecommend mo na body wash for 3yo? tia!

I first bought this kasi my baby likes tub baths and most tub baths contain SLS so I tried it, hindi kasi maganda reviews ng Mustela baby bath.Hindi lang yan kasing bubbly ng SLS-containing products but it smells great! Hindi rin umaasim si baby with either the 2-in-1 (shampoo/body) nyan. I tried this too

^^miksha: not sure saan sa ME merong organic brands for kids eh. I have no idea if may SLS ang milk bath ng JnJ , but as a general rule, "safe" for baby's use usually meron pa rin traces kasi, some baby's skins are so sensitive to SLS (like mine does). Try JURLIQUE (they're mostly everywhere naman), organic brand din yan and usually lavender scented na light lang naman. I find JnJ's "natural"line ridiculous kasi it still has SLS! Kung 8 na siya baka pwede na sa kanya ang organic baths for adults, so keep reading toiletry product labels there. Most products naman jan galing din US or UK, di ba? Oh, try looking for California Baby products din.

my baby's hair is falling out. I read that it's a natural thing but I suspect it must be caused by her shampoo kasi nagkaganun lang naman when we started using Mustela Baby Shampoo. Anyone experiencing this? Nakaka depress

^sis 2 years na ako nag-use ng Mustela,hindi naman nagka-hairfall little girl ko. Even when we only use the 2-in-1,hindi ko na experience yan. Super curly haired pa nga siya eh. I'm not changing it anytime soon, for as long as it still cleans her hair kahit toddler na plan ko pa rin use sa kanya yan.Other wise shift ako to My True Nature products,super light ang scent perfect for babies and toddlers.mas like ko yung lightly scented(amoy baby) kaysa bubble-gummy , fruity scents.Tsaka na lang siya mamili ng toiletries nya pag nagkaisip na siya

^ thanks sis! siguro nga natural lang yun pag super baby pa kasi nagpapalit ng new hair. Still, sinabihan ko si yaya ever other day shampoo-han si baby, kasi hindi naman madumi hair nila like us adults.

^my pedia said wag daw muna mag Johnson's pag 1 yr old below. Use cetaphil or lactacyd baby diluted with water. I love lactacyd it smells good.

Lactacyd ka na lang sis,or Cetaphil, or Mustela. Mabango lang JnJ on the onset pakapaligo as the day wears on parang maasim eh.nagbili rin ako nyan kasi Jn sana gagamitin ko kay baby, nauwing panlinis sa diaper area na lang kasi ayoko rin ng amoy after.may kamahalan ang Mustela sa phils, di ba...last I saw nasa 1k yata bottle...

4 bottles na lang ang burts bees shampoo ng anak ko, sa wakas ipapagraduate ko na sya dito. Natatakot lang ako pumangit ang buhok nya kapag magpalit ng shampoo (tapos d na bumalik sa dati kahit ibalik ko ang BB) pero bumili na ako ng suave kids shampoo isang set. Sana talaga maging ok para d na mahirap bumili at need maramihan ang pagbili ng shampoo.

May binili rin ako jason brand na kids conditioner. Sana maging ok ang combi with suave.
