All About DSLR Cameras [Thread 4]

hay im torn between getting a nikon d3100 or the semi pro sony nex c3. kasi naman--dahil sa shutter actuation issue...trigger happy kasi ako. kung bakit naman kasi kailangan may ganoon pa sa slr. takot ako baka sandali lang eh maconsume ko agad yung maximum actuations ng d3100.

help mga sis.

^sis, alisin naten sa picture ang actuation..
check the weight at price of the camera din.. kung ano mas keri mo.. yung ang bilhin mo.
at ano ba purpose? for travel? for blogs? for occasion? or anything at random?

sa tingin ko di ka magiging trigger happy pag DSLR ang gamit mo.. at matagal tagal pa naman yan bago maexhaust at may pang replace nanaman na at affordable naman daw as per our GT sister here.

sis ako syo ill get D90.. i think mas mura na sya ngayon..
D3100 pang beginner talaga.. at least pag nalagpasan mo na ang beginner's stage hindi mo na kelangan mag upgrade agad.. sorry hindi ako masyado familiar sa sony e.. kaya medyo bias ako sa nikon hehe....

@calin22: purpose ko sis para maganda ang shots pag nagtravel ako. and may affairs with family and friends i guess unlike point and shoot, hindi ko to laging  madadala. pag umaalis kasi kami dala ko yung digicam para i take pictures what happened within the day, especially yung mga restaurants na we're trying. magkano daw ba sis ang magpa reset if ever? thanks!

@p3ntium4: thanks sis, kaso hindi kaya ng budget ko si d90 haha! yung digicam ko is sony cybershot tx5 yung waterproof cam..kaso binenta ko na sa sis ko para bibili nga sana ako ng dslr for family use.

affordable na siguro ang price na 3k-5k. (di ako sure) i dont think maeexhaust mo ng agad agad yan.. siguro 3-4years buhay pa yan.

Maganda din naman ang shots ng mga point and shoot eh, hmm nasa 20++k din ang presyo nung iba, nasasayo naman yun eh,, kung madalas ka naman nagtratravel, i guess okay na get a DSLR.

^thanks sis! yan din sabi ng ka gt nating sis dito. hehe. nasa preference ko daw kung gusto ko bang bulky o hindi, kung kaya ng budget or not.

magcacanvass kami ni bf today or tomorrow. hopefully maliwanagan din ako. akala ko basta bumili ng dslr yun na, kung hindi ako nagbasa ng mga forum hindi ko malalaman na may ganyang attribute to consider din pala

Don't worry about the shutter actuation issue.  Hindi mo magiging problema yun.   

If you find it okay traveling with a DSLR on your neck, by all means get it.  If not, a Canon G12 and S95 will be great.  I'm not familiar with their Nikon and Sony counterparts but check them out as well.

Kung pangtravel, get the more portable ones.. pasakit sa balikat ang dslr. Madami naman ng maganda ngayon na may manual settings na din.

i just bought canon 550d... my first dslr at canon dzone in Moa... im happy since its function button are like canon ixus camera but the quality of slr photos... hindi mahirap gamitin... hubby & i decided to buy it na lang sa mall than sa online stores kasi it has 3 years warranty...

mga sis [textspeak!] brand ba ng uv filter ang maganda? tamad kasi ko magbackread ang haba eh hehe.. tinignan ko kasi yun kenko sa infomax its 800 pesos im not sure kung ok yun saka sa cd r king meron din mga filters and its really cheap. may effect ba yun sa photos kapag cheap filter ang binili? thanks.

^ Meron sis.  As the saying goes, your lens is as good as the last glass on it.  Get the best you can afford.  Hoya and B+W are some of the good ones.  Pero kung entry level ang lens mo, pwede na din yung mga cheap filters.

sis lalagay ko lang sana sa kit lens ko for protection since undecided pa ko kung [textspeak!] lens ang bibilin ko for zoom. I saw filters kasi sa cdr king and they are really cheap and hindi ko lang alam kung may effect yun sa photos kapag cheap ang binili ko.

^pag cheap daw usually nagvivignette eh.. try to research about it cause I'm not too sure.. sa mga photography forums parang dun ko nabasa yun ganung feedback kaya never ako nagtry ng generic filters

Yung Tiffen ang alam ko di naman masyadong mahal pero ok na.  Sunpak filters affordable din.

mga sis, how much and hoya na filter para sa kit lens? pay may filter ba, all the time talaga nakakabit sa lens yung filter? pay nilagay ba yung filter pwede pa ring patungan hung lens cap na kulay black?

Kenko at hoya same company daw ang gumawa...
so far ok naman ang kenko pro-D filter ko...

BTW... bumili ako ng 2nd body ko ... D7000....
maganda sya sa low light conditions...
medyo napansin ko lang parang mas Darker ang images ko sa LCD ng D7000 kesa sa D90 ko...

Hindi ko pa sya fully nagagamit hehe... medyo nag aadjust pa ako sa new camera..
gagawin kong backup ang D90 ko...  Actually ok pa naman ako sa D90 kung hobby lang.. kaso medyo dumadami ang projects ko kaya kinailangan kong mag invest sa 2ndbody for backup...
