OK ba maging real estate agent?

Depends pa rin sa work ethic ng agent; i have had friends in the business, one has met the million mark already while another has yet to sell even one property (they work in the same company). So like any other business, work ethic really pays off and there is no shortcut to making money.

Ok ba maging real estate agent? above minimum ba salary? advantages and disadvantages? do they still make millions? [textspeak!] company ang maganda if ever? And ilan percent ang usual commission per property?  post away your comments!

i work in a real estate developer before and marami akong nakilala na brokers and agents. yes malaki ang kita nila,the incentives the comissions may mga free ganito ganyan if may buyer ka na and if yung client nila or buyer ay mag move in na another money again. i think mas malaki or mas maganda ang offer sa mga high end na developer for commissions yun lang na observed ko and sabi ng mga agents sa akin before. nakaka inggit nga cause malaki pa ang nakukuha nila keysa amin na nasa office lang.but its like this.you work hard you'll get money but if you don't wala ka rin makukuha.

thanks a lot sis snowhite_12! may mga basic pay rin ba pag agent ka? nag-iisip kasi ako kung iwan ko un regular job then lipat as real estate agent... sana may mag post na naging agent or currently working as an agent. before i leave my job

i don't know if may basic pay ba sila even if they received comission pag may buyer sila. basta sis all i remember mahilig sila mang libre sa amin when makuha na nila ang commisions, malaki kasi yung amount

mga sis ang alam ko allowance na lang and commissions eh..for 3 months kung wala ka benta its either tatanggalan ka ng allowance or babawasan nila..

un nga rin sabi nun classmate ko na nasa real estate ngaun allowance lang daw then may commission pag naka-benta ... in hesistant tuloy ka umalis sa work ko sana makahanap na ko ng new work.

kung ganun nga eh try nalang muna gawing part-time to =) then pag nagamay mo na talaga saka magdecide if mag full time =)

Sis e-girl think twice before leaving your job..dapat consistent ang benta mo kung hindi wala kang allowance..for 3mos. Monitor ka nila pag after that period pag wala benta [textspeak!] din allowance..

gusto ko ding pumasok as a real estate agent since full time mom naman ako first time ko
 , extra income din eh now may new subdivision na itatayo malapit sa amin at mga schoolmates ko they asked about the subdivision tapos plan din nila bumili , may buyer na ako agad hehe .. sana

i have friends who tried it. yah may commissions ka sa benta pero dapat magaling ka & ma-sales talk ka talaga... and challenge din daw makahanap ng prospective buyer..

I have a friend who is a licensed real estate broker na pero sympre nung start sa agent agent muna sha he really worked hard to get on top kase he wanted to succeed. rich family nila but nag work pa din sha. nursing grad din yun but not RN. he worked for robinsons for 5yrs dun sha bumonga kase they sent him na to singapore, thailand etc i think that's if you really do overly well na with the sales. he has his own car na din,condo&franchise of chickboy. he's now with smdc and looking for agents also. gusto ko nga pumasok but feeling ko di ko kaya yung ginawa niya as in super tyaga. and super sales talk daw talaga to the max.

I think nasa tao na din yun. if you really want to be on top you will do your best.

sorry for my ignorance, magkaiba po ba yung agent sa broker? sis, can you send me his #... baka bigla lang lumakas ang loob ko at itry ang real estate. though part time lang sana muna...keri kaya yun

I think pag licensed broker na mas mataas na yun kase may license na sha sa PRC. i posted sa hiring thread sis pati emai add niya. pm ko sayo hehe try mo sabi nga nila mataas na daw bigay sa smdc.

if you're good in salestalking and if you have the network, i bet real estate would be chicken for you. and kung papasok ka lang sa real estate, pick a high end employer na like century city - sila yung may project sa azure, aqua, trump, milano and versace (correct me if im mistaken). mababa basic pay but malaki commission pag nakabenta ka and if you really do well in selling, mabilis ang pag akyat sa corporate ladder but you have to make sacrifices like you have to work long hours and may pasok pag weekends... once a week rin lang yung rest day. if you are good with that, GO!!!
