OB-gyn recommendations around Metro Manila?

@heretohelp- yup, madami ako nababasa na magaling sila. Dapat nga kay doc sua lao ako punta, e my nakausap ako sa forum mga 2 days ago na, sinabihan ba naman daw siyang baog agad agad. Feeling nga daw niya napahiya pa siya sa ibang patients, e hindi pa naman nila nattry kahit ano kasi 1st consultation palang yun. Tapos nega agad. Hindi daw siya binigyan ng hope na magkakaanak. Parang badtrip padaw nun si doc. So naisip ko na magaling nga siya pero parang masyado naman harsh. Kaya naisip ko kay dra joan tan garcia nalang. Pero prob ko lang is baka naman sobra mahal sa kanya pag operation. Tntry ko naman tumawag sa st lukes kanina at cardinal wala naman sumasagot.

Malayo kasi sakin sis sa manila doctors e. sa st lukes clinic niya, hindi naman by appointment diba? Gusto ko lang sana malaman kung magkano consultation, baka mamaya mas mahal pa sa st lukes e. baka mabigla ako pag nagbayad ako. 1st ob ko kasi sabi gamot lang daw para sa endo ko, 2nd ob, either mag baby or lap. Gusto ko ng 3rd consultation para malaman ko talaga ano gagawin sa endo ko. Para makapagdecide na talaga ako.

Sis nataliadelmonte: same tyo, poly cystic din ako. Several years before we had our baby, ang ob ko si dr. Niza Reyes sa Asian Hospital magaling sya mag-alaga....strict yet she's very considerable on her patients. Hope you'll be able to conceive soon, pinakamahalaga pa rin prayer sis!

I'm looking for an ob in st luke's also.  It's near my place so I can't go elsewhere pa, no time din to go around.  I'm trying to get pregnant and I want a full check up to see if everything's all set to go.  Any recommendation?  Someone who is patient in answering questions

I'm recommending Dra. Lani Buenconsejo of Makati Medical Center. She's my Ob when I gave birth last 2009. I've been with a lot of OB-Gyne and mas kampante ako sa kanya. I just don't know her rates now pero Maxicare Accredited naman siya and kahit nag exceed ka na sa number of prenatal and post natal check ups e cino cinsider parin niya.

Hi annmitch if am not mistaken pareho lang consultation fee nya 800 to 1K. Kelan ka ba tumawag sis baka naman nung habagat kaya wala sumasagot sa clinic nya. U may try calling again next week magaling at mabait si Dra she can help you. Sundin m lang payo nya at Pray Pray Pray

Usapang OB! If you're based sa South, or I think she also has clinic by PGH, I highly recommend my OB Dr Ina Crisologo. She was referred pa by my Ninong na Anesthesiologist. Even my hubby likes her. She's very practical and is up-to-date on research and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Her consult fee is P500 and I go to her Saturday mornings at Asian hospital.
Throughout my pregnancy she was diligent with my BP and how I was doing as well as the baby. I eould text her about my symptoms and she'd respond promptly, sometimes even with a prescription. Before and giving birth she also sent a document with baby shopping and birth control alternatives. I really thought I might get preeclampsia but it all worked out ok and i did NSD pa.
Her HPV vaccine Gardasil is at around 2800, I think which is quite reasonable, cheaper pa than what was offered at my office.

@gorgeousgem- holiday pala sa qc nun, kaya wala daw sumagot. Hehe Nagpunta na ako, pero out of the country naman pala siya, sayang punta. Hehe. Pero kahit pala sa st lukes, by appointment din sabi nun sec. 1k din daw consultation. Try ko nalang nextweek pagbalik niya. Matagal mo na siya doc? Magkano pf niya pag nanganak? Alam ko mahal siya talaga e.

Yup by appointment sya kaya lang since sobra dami ng pasyente nya madalas you have to wait pa din.  More than 2 years na ako sa kanya at no plan na lumipat kahit masakit sya sa bulsa.  Pf nya is 50k normal delivery.

i highly recommend dra. marie lou gallego.  from taguig, madami syang clinics and hospital na affiliated. sa taguig pateros district hospital din sya.  dun ako nanganak sa sarili nyang clinic sa st. mary tuktukan taguig malapit sa cityhall. 13k lang halos lahat nagastos ko, sya lang talaga OB ko from the start kaya napaka kampante ko sa kanya,kahit may health card kami na free pre and post natal check up , mas pinili ko pa din sa kanya, natetxt ko din sya and nagrereply naman sya,isa pa yun sa mga nagustuhan ko sa kanya..  250 lang check up ko sa kanya. kaya if your from taguig and gusto nyo ng maalagang ob . sa kanya na kayo magpacheck up, 09213221625/09323003050

Hi, i highly recommend Dr. Asuncion 'Jing' Fernandez from st lukes. She holds clinic at both global and qc. She's very patient, maalaga and very responsive kahit sa text.
There was a time i texted her at 6am because i was feeling very sick and in a few mins she was calling already to check on me. That was on a sunday pa. When i was confined she went to see me right away also.

Normal Delivery without PF is 26k

3 days stay in the hospital

Im not sure lang if kasama na ang PF ng anesth and pedia.

hi mga sis! i recommend dra susana lao, sa chinese general siya...first time mommy ako and super inalagaan niya ako... prior my pregnancy, i was diagnosed with polycystic...pero di naman siya naging problema nung nagbuntis ako  she's very calm and reassuring, and very patient with all my questions. Wala rin akong naging major problem when i was pregnant, and even nung nanganak ako via normal delivery...in fact, hindi ako nahirapan... she suggested kasi na mag-epidural ako and she explained to me how it works...so nung 5cm na ako, wala na akong nararamdamang pain and i can focus more kung pano yung tamang iri at breathing... she was really determined na normal delivery ako.. and dra lao was there the whole time.

im not really sure how much and consultation niya kasi covered ng card yung consultation... pero i'm guessing around 500/visit. ang doctor's fee lang niya sa pagpapaanak sa akin was 6K..with the epidural, and 2 days stay sa chinese gen (ward room lang, non-aircon) we paid around 27K (less na yung philhealth ko and ni baby)
