hi to all.. the topic where i used to post is unfortunately locked na.. so i post another topic.if there's already new topic like this, moderator kindly merge na lang..anyway..im here in abu dhabi for about a month only..fortunately i found a job easily and very convenient pa sa akin kasi few blocks away from our accomodation..lucky indeed pero been 2 weeks in my job parang gusto ko na umalis.local kasi chairman..he usually called his employees stupid and madame pa!!!he's bad!! really bad!!gusto ko na agad lumipat ng job..ask ko lang po..my only chance is to find job in free zone or govt agency? do i have to wait 1 yr para hindi ako magbayad?please badly need your advice..

Sad to hear naman na medyo rude ang boss mo.  Ang alam ko 2 years dapat mo macomplete para di ka ma-ban eh. I'm just not too sure about dun sa bayad if you haven't completed one year. Do you interact with the chairman on a daily basis? Naculture shock ka ata.

^need your opinion mga sis, my husband's company request him to transfer to another country, (oil and gas company ni hubby),worry lang namin is meron pa kami loan sa standard chartered bank,ok lang kaya na lumipat kami,pero babayaran pa rin namin pero hindi full payment,salary transfer ba tawag dun.hope may magbigay ng inputs.thanks!

^ok lang yan, sis. Basta hindi kayo naging delinquent sa payments and wala namang police case, hindi naman magkakaproblema sa pag alis nyo. Ang importante is willing kayo to settle your loan until it gets paid off.

No, it's not salary transfer, sis. Salary transfer is yun pag transfer ng company ng husband mo ng buong sweldo nya to the bank. What you can do is arrange a Standing Order dun sa bagong bank where your husband's salary will be transferred to. Pwede mo na i-arrange yun dun sa bank sa bagong country kung saan kayo lilipat na let's say every 5th of the month, transfer X amount to SCB UAE for X number of months (until sa maturity ng loan nyo).

^sis, honestly, personal na opinyon ko lang ito ha, and this might not be the best advice you'll get, LOL... kung ako siguro yan since alam ko sa sarili ko na babayaran ko talaga ang nahiram kong pera, hindi ko na ipapaalam sa bank. Kasi ang banks pag nalaman nila na aalis ka na ng UAE, ipapa-payoff nila yan outstanding amount sayo.

Maybe our fellow sisses here have other points of view? Yun kasing mga friends ko na nagsi-uwi habang may loan, di na talaga nagbayad eh. Hindi tuloy sila makabalik dito.

Sis, is your husband's salary also transferred to SCB? I mean same bank ba where his salary is being transferred and where the loan outstanding is? For some companies, part of the visa cancellation process is to inform the bank that their employee will cease to be a part of the company. And normally, yun gratuity will automatically be used to settle the loan.

Hindi ba enough yun gratuity to cover the loan outstanding?

As far as I know, and i maybe wrong, you will not be stopped sa airport  unless you were wanted by the police.

It is indeed very risky, sis! Ang mahirap kasi dito sa bansang ito, pabago-bago ang rules, and walang clear-cut information na provided sa ating mga expat.
