US TV: Hart of Dixie

Fast-talking New Yorker and brand new doctor Zoe Hart has it all figured out – after graduating top of her class from medical school, she'll follow in her father's footsteps and become a cardio-thoracic surgeon. But when her dreams fall apart, Zoe decides to accept an offer from a stranger, Dr. Harley Wilkes, to work with him at his small practice in Bluebell, Alabama. Zoe arrives in this small Gulf Coast town only to find that Harley has passed away and left his half of the medical practice to her in his will.

She quickly finds that Southern hospitality isn't always so hospitable – the other doctor in town, Brick Breeland, is less than pleased to be sharing the practice with this young outsider, and his daughter, Lemon, is a Southern belle whose sweet disposition turns sour when she meets Zoe. Zoe's only allies are the mayor, former football star Lavon Hayes, her bad-boy neighbor Wade Kinsella, and handsome lawyer George Tucker – who just happens to be Lemon's fiance. Zoe is out of her element and ready to pack her bags, but a surprise visit by her snobby New York mother leads to Zoe's decision to stay in Bluebell for a while, discovering small-town life and a side of herself she hadn't known was there

Thought id like to share lang. I love this new show. Kasi it has scott porter. I love jaime king but her chars is such a beeeyaks here. Super effek ang pagkabichubichu niya...lol. Plus i have a new crush...si Wade  . He is so charming....like josh lucas in sweet home alabama. Kahit pa bad boy you xant help notice but fall head over heels....

Ypu can watch it at 2nd avenue thursdays 8pm right before you HIMYM fix...

La lang....

And of course...rachel is here....i have alwaysliked her since the OC...she has that likeable factor....hopefully maganda ang ratings....

Rating's not good. Although, it's not gonna matter, the show has been given a full season. Walang choice yung network, lahat ng shows nila mababa rating (compared to the competition). But if they cancel, walang matitira. 

I was not a fan of Rachel Bilson on The OC. The first episode of this show, I found it cute. Parang Doc Hollywood/Sweet Home Alabama.

But I didn't like the second episode. I thought Zoe (Bilson) was trying too hard. It seemed out of the ordinary for someone to be so driven with what she's doing, when she just found out her life had been a lie. I was expecting she'd resist her new role (as the town doctor) a few episodes more or fight with her mom for lying to her....or find out her history.   

Haven't seen 3rd episode yet, maybe this weekend. So, am not sure if I'm going to watch this one for the long haul.

Actually hindi maganda ang ratings nito, although napick up naman for a full season.

I love it! Wala lang cute ni wade.. And favorite ko din yung sweet home alabama. Cute din ng mga suot ni rachel bilson.

Well most ng cw naman mababa ang ratings, mukang reality shows ang hit sa US.

I am watching this series din, hindi pa rin ako convinced kay Rachel Bilson as doctor. Tsaka itigil na niya ang pagsusuot ng shorts haha I am sure hindi naman ganun mag-suot ang mga tao sa NY palagi.

Nakakanibago din yung ka-love interest niya dito na lawyer kasi kakaalis lang niya sa The Good Wife na puro lawyers naman nandun.

Pinapanuod ko pa rin siya kasi medyo feel good yung series. Like mababaw lang talaga ang problema pa ng town nila.

Really? Not good ratimgs. Pero sana kahit for one season lang ang HOD gandahan nila writing noh...kahit pang libang nalang...lol

Mababaw siya pero i like it kasi magaan panoorin. But, yeah its kinda true as much as i like rachel, sometimes TH na. Although i watch it kasi feel good naman in fairness. And my eye candy boylets kasi...tee hee

Natawa ako sa shorts comment....eh next epi may heat wave...shorts kung shorts na.....shirtless wade pa.......

^Puro kasi ganun outfit niya tapos galing siyang NY eh ang dami ko napapanuod ng NY ang settings, eh sa SATC ko lang ata napanuod may nag-shorts at bihira lang pa yun haha

Favorite ko nga yung naka shorts siya palagi mainit naman sa bluebell kaya bagay lang, at kung doctor siya mukang scrubs lang suot niya palagi, pero hindi din ako convinced na doctor siya.

Ang weird! May heat wave sa Bluebell pero Zoe mostly wore dress haha Isang beses lang siya nag-short at yung medyo mahaba pang shorts unlike sa previous episodes na short shorts.

Mayor and Lemon. Hmmm... mukhang malakas talaga tama nitong 2 to. If 6 months ago sila nag-hiwalay, does that mean that Lemon was two-timing George?

Ang fake lang pala nung ulan. Nung umulan, walang basa sa mukha si Lemon. Si Zoe naman basa yung face pero hindi kasing dami tulad sa patak nung ulan.

pero natutuwa akong panoorin toh buti na lang full season siya

May interview si Jamie King (Lemon) about this some two weeks ago...parang nauna daw si George while he was in NY....or something like that. Which I think we'll get to find out more as the episodes roll.

^Yeah, I think mag-bf/gf na talaga sila ng matagal ni George kaya nagulat ako nung sinabi nung Mayor yung 6 months ago kasi ibig sabihin 2 ang bf nitong si Lemon.

Di pa rin ako maka-get over sa name niya haha

Kapatid naman ni Lemon pangalan Magnolia (for the flower). Not so unusual, pero kung Pinas to at ang Ate mo Lemon, ikaw Magnolia....nakakagutom naman!!!
