I agree,sis, risky talaga ang self dermarolling and most the time it wont work, iba talaga if performed by a doctor. I tried microneedling that uses a gadget with my derma, its less painful than the old style dermaroller. And microneedling truly worked for me,until recently, i tried doing fractional co2 at Skin Wellness and i saw faster results than microneedling.

girls. Sa mga nagsusuffer sa mga stretchies.. You must try this. I've tried many oils, creams, but only DERMAROLLER removed these stubborn stretchies. Thank God talaga I found this. You should press harder when you roll it, but syempre depends on the area. If its tummy, you might want to roll it hard (but put emla or any numbing cream) so you wont feel the pain while rolling it, just roll and roll until it you see blood spots. (Wag pacute magroll, wala ring sense) Dun ka makakasiguro na eefect sya kasi nasusugatan ang balat at lalabas ang fresh na balat after a week or so.. Tapos magpipeel sya.. Pero sobrang kati. Nagsugat tummy ko kakakamot, kahit tulog ako kamot ako ng kamot.(Palad lang pinangkakamot ko syempre. Otherwise, gagawa nnman ako panibagong kamot. Lol)Pero worth it talaga sya.  I just do the diy dermarolling.

sis pretty_B  yup sis pic ko yun. sabi nila di ko daw nadisinfect ng maayos yung roller ko kaya ako nangangati, pero alam ko dahil sa nagpipeel din tummy ko.


sis grace.kelly yung paggamit ko  naman, ang nasa instruction once a week, pero sakin 2weeks interval.  Tapos may mga serum (kasama sa package) akong pinapahid while rolling, at may collagen cream for non-rolling days. Yung size nya 1.5mm, kung para sa mukha 0.5mm-1.0mm lang daw ata. Yun ang nabasa ko sa isang site. saka oo sis, may mga konting sugat ako sa tummy, madali lang naman mawala yung sakin. Pinapabayaan ko lang kasi tiwala akong mawawala din sya agad. Ang target ko talaga yung stretchies kong malalapad at malalalim. :| pero ngayon nagbeblend  na tlaga siya sa skintone ko. (mukhang magiging bestfriend ko na tong dermaroller eh..haha:P)Pero kung sa case mo na peklatin ka, mukhang you need to consult an expert first before you use this. Kasi baka naman imbes na maging flawless ka, eh gumawa pa ng panibagong sugat/peklat yung dermaroller sa skin mo..
Better safe than sorry.

I'm planning to buy a derma roller too and just DIY. I watched a youtube video and the girl's acne scars really improved and she used a vitamin ACE ferulic acid serum with it and I think some glycolic serum.

I thought wala pa sa pinas nito eh so I was looking at amazon to buy but di ko sure if they ship it here. Buti may nakita ako sa sulit. I think I'll buy from dermaperfection and will try Absynthe's Pure Intentions ferulic serum. I'm so excited!

Talaga,faster results ng co2 laser kesa dermarolling?

Hi sis, previously i had microneedling sessions, and now 2 sessions of fractional co2, yes, i observed na faster ang result ng Co2, kase parang overall ang  improvement ,and parang stretched din ang skin and may pinkish glow.. Konti na lang ang visible scars ko ngayon. Yung mga nakakausap ko na clients din ng skin wellness, okay naman din daw ang results nila, medyo masakit lang talaga and longer downtime than microneeding.  Yung iba naman, microneedling pa din ang pinapa gawa kay dra. Tessa , kase yon daw ang suggestion niya. Depende talaga sa klase ng scar and sensitivity ng skin.Off topic na, so sa other thread na lang ako mag shashare about co2. Pero for both microneedling and laser, pareho akong  satisfied.

Ang alam ko sis di sya pwedeng gamitin pag may active pimple. Bukod sa masakit, kakalat daw sya. For  pimple scars and enlarged pores ok sya.

I've been wanting to try this. Kaso di ko afford ang price ng mga session sa derma clinics. where did you buy your derma roller sis? I saw one in sulit kaso hindi naman nagrereply.

^ sis pretty_B , di yun pwede sa nakaumbok, namumula at masakit na pimples. Imagine tutusukin mo ng hundreds na needles yung pimples mo?   ayoko kasi sya gamitin sa mukha baka kung ano mangyari sa mukha ko, kahit na gustong gusto ko na gamitin, kasi super ganda ng effect sa tummy ko. Alam ko maganda daw sya sa large pores, sa mga wrinkles, at sa acne scars. Wag lang sa active pimple. Pwede din to sa napapanot na at gustong tubuan ng buhok. pati sa mga cellulites sa thighs. pero di ko alam kung hanggang saan ang powers ng dermaroller  na tanggalin lahat ng stretchies ko, gusto ko kasi yung tipong dalaga ulit, yung pwedeng ng mag two piece. Haha. Crossed fingers. (Asa) May nabasa kasi ako na pag puti na daw yung stretchies mo, mahirap na daw tanggalin mapa laser man o dermaroller. Parang permanent na daw un. yung sayo ba sis?

sis missamber, sa sulit ko lang siya nabili eh. Oo mahal talaga per session sa mga derma clinics, yung isang session don eh makaka sampung session ka na kung i-diy mo.. Search mo na lang " derma perfection+sulit" . DermaPerfection pangalan ng sulit account nila eh, ang alam ko doctor ang mayari non. kaya kampante ako na bumili sakanila. Di pa kasi ako pwedeng mag pm since probationary pa lang ako.

sis saltandpepper001, puti na ang stretchies ko. awww. hindi kasi sya cause ng pagiging preggy kaya light lang ito. as in kakaunti lang. nakakairita lang kasi.

Thanks sis saltandpepper! Anong OTC cream ba pinapahid sa skin before and after dermarolling? Nakita ko may package sila for session ng derma rolling pero gusto ko sana yung dermaroller lang bilhin ko.

There are a lot of vouchers that are available online for dermaroller. It costs about 6k for 6 sessions. It's so tempting to avail because I really want to treat my acne scars but I don't want to do it myself at home. I've tried fraxel and i wasn't very satisfied. I'm thinking if i should go with the voucher for 6k which about 20k lower than the price at my derma's office.

Has anyone ever tried getting dermaroller treatments at facial clinics or spas? (not in a doctor's office) please if anyone has any feedback on the following, post it here.

Other questions I would like to ask for those who already experienced the treatment:
-what kind of scars/flaws do you have?
-what length of dermaroller needle did you use?
-how often would you use it?
-was there any improvement? what kind of improvement was seen?

I don't post much in threads (more of a silent reader) but I did this cause I need some more information. I'm sure other people need this too. I've dealt with acne all my life and now it left me with scars. It's so depressing and I've lost a good amount of self esteem.

Pagiipunan ko na talaga to. DIY lang and at the most baka maka 4k lang ako sa mga nakita kong deals sa sulit kesa naman ipaclinic ko pa. Nakakaloka yung napanuod ko sa youtube na girl. Sobrang lala nung pimples nya before kaya nung paggaling grabe yung icepick scars nya. Tapos bumili sya sa amazon ng 1.5 inch demaroller saka CE ferulic acid serum. Pinanuod ko rin yung updated videos nya and nawala na yung marks nya, nagsmooth and glowing na skin nya even yung icepick scars ang laki talaga ng improvement!

Nakakalungkot lang kasi tinakedown na nya yun because she's now selling dermaroller kits. Which is boo for me.

While rolling, twice ako maglagay ng serum(kasama sa set)
Yung stretchmarks cream naman(kasama din sa set) ang pinapahid ko after ng session.
Saka bio-oil.. You can buy the roller lang if you want. Ikaw na bahala kung anong cream ang bibilhin mo otc.

Hi girls. Share ko lang experience ko with derma rolling. Nagshare nako years ago nung nagpa derma rolling ako with my derma and nagimprove talaga [textspeak!] skin ko after 6 sessions na tumagal ng 6 months din kasi yung last 2 sessions ko mejo tamad nako pumunta since less pimples na talaga lumalabas sa face ko non. After mga 2 years ayun nastress na naman ako and naglabasan ang acne so may scars uli ako na parang pockmarks.

Since binigay na sakin nung derma ko [textspeak!] derma roller na ginamit sakin before, nag DIY nako. Make sure lang na wala kayong dadaanan na cystic pimple (yung may laman) or else kakalat yun sa buong face nyo. So ang ginagawa ko is pinapatuyo ko muna pimples ko (gamit ko yung AC Clinic line ng Etude House) tapos lahat ng walang pimple padadaanan ko ng derma roller. Mga once a week to every two weeks ako mag roller and masasabi ko talaga na every after derma rolling ko, bumababaw talaga yung scars ko. May down time nga lang sakin, kasi the day after ng derma rolling ko, mukha akong sun burnt then magpipeel face ko for two days na parang ahas pero after non, parang new skin na yung lumalabas, masmababaw na scars and less pimples and blackheads or whiteheads yung tumutubo. Naka 6 sessions nako sa DIY ko and I'm planning to continue until satisfied nako sa hitsura ng skin ko. Usually Friday night ako nag dederma roller due to the down time.

Yung derma roller ko I make sure I inspect kung may bent or dirt before I use it. So far yung derma roller ko doesn't rust at all at hindi nagbebend kasi I also make sure hindi ko sya pinapatong sa matigas na surface like tables. I also make sure to disinfect and brush away the dirt na natitira sa needles. I use EMLA for the anesthesia then sunflower oil lang during the rolling process tapos I drink collagen supplement and vitamin C to help with the healing.
