Sisses sino sa inyo nakapag stay na Lub'd Siam Square? Okay ba?

Hi sis! I'm the one who stayed and wrote the blog about Lub D.  Ang pinakaplus point ng Lub D Siam ay ang location. If you want to be near MBK and other malls, this is a good choice. But it's a hostel sis so wala siyang elevator and hindi free ang breakfast. It's okay though since may 7-eleven naman na malapit and mga malls din.

*If you want to book in Lub D, try hostelworld. I noticed that the earlier you book, the cheaper the price is.

Thanks for posting my blog sis. Sa Pathumwan Princess pala kayo. Nice ng location. My mom also stayed there before on a business trip and she also had good feedbacks about the hotel as well. Bale nasa other side lang ang LubD. Sa row ng Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.

ooooh, if Lub D is beside BKK Arts and Culture, it's a few steps away MBK, a night market and the BTS! One short cab ride pa from Pratunam and the other shopping complexes! I can walk to Siam Square and Graysorn from here, too, can't I?

Thanks for informing me. If I go back to BKK and would want to scrimp on accommodation, this is my top choice. Sayang kasi money din pag mejo pricey ang hotel, pang shopping nalang, diba?

^ Bale hindi talaga siya katabi sis pero very near BKK Arts and Culture Centre.  A few steps away lang din siya sa National Stadium BTS. Malapit din sa Tesco Lotus so usually nagba bus lang kami pabalik from Khao San Road na drop off point ng group tours.

Yup, sayang din kasi ang money for shopping since ang dami talagang mabibili sa Thailand, hehe.

We will also stay at Four Seasons Intl. on May 19th. Worth it bang pumunta ng Chatuchak for shopping or sa Platinum or Pratunam nlg?

We're off to Phuket. And on our way home, we'll be in Bangkok airport at 9am and then leave at 3pm for Manila.

Is there anything that we can do that's near the airport? I am thinking of having lunch and shopping sana. Kaya ba? Where can we go in 5hours?

^sis, the airport is about 45 minutes - 1 hour away from the city. You can do some shopping & have lunch at the airport. sobrang pricey nga lang kumain sa airport.

@sis ianne16 wow! san kayo stay sis? may 19 til 22 kme.

day 1 - midnight arrival.
day 2 - chatuchak and platinum mall shopping.. hehe.. shopping ang first activity. baiyoke sky dinner.
day 3 - free half day city tour, then probably head to grand palace and nearby areas, - actually bahala na day toh, then suan lum night market.
day 4 - early flight to saigon

2 whole day lang ang bkk trip, so make the most of out shopping...

Question: Worth it ba ang food and experience at Baiyoke Sky Restaurant?

Pwede bang walk in na lang or strictly for reservations only?

Saan pinakamura bumili ng lunch/dinner ticket nila? Sa mismong hotel ba or sa third party websites? Like AsiaWeb (http://www.bangkok.com/restaurant-offers/baiyok-sky.htm)

@sis fabnprettyjhezy, ang galing! pareho tayo ng dates! May 19-22 din kami. pero 19 ng hapon nasa bangkok na kami. we'll be coming from KL then May 22, midnight ang flight back to philippines.

hindi pa ayos itinerary namin. so little time, so much to see. hehe! hindi kami makadecide kung alin ang pupuntahan namin. but definitely, nong nooch is part of our itinerary. it's in pattaya, we've allotted 1 whole day for this.

and we're planning to stay in Bangkok loft inn. actually medyo malayo siya from the shopping district but super lapit lang daw sa train station. but my friends who went to bangkok have only good things to say about this hotel. where are you planning to stay pala? thanks!

hihi. kme naman first country namin ang bangkok, then saigon then singapore. sa four season intl house kme stay sis, puro shopping lang ang gagawin namin.

weeh sis, ang ganda ng nong nooch.. sayang di kaya ng sched. oh well, next time

me naman, i'm considering chocolate ville to include. malapit ata siya sa chatuchak.

nong nooch kasi ang #1 request ni bf, kaya go lang. kaso isa pa ding dilemma yun. kung kaya ba ng DIY or tour package na lang. may idea ka ba? 

first time i've heard of chocolate ville, i'll research that. i'm super excited na kaso wala pa kami itinerary, nakakainis. ayoko din naman kasi mag temple overload.

1 week na lang til our bangkok trip! Can't wait.

Yung shopping ba dun, pa describe naman mga sis so I know what to expect. Haha plan ko kasi pocket money 10-15k php for food+shopping (We arrive 11:50 Mar 15 then we leave 1:20am Mar 19). So bale mga 3 days lang kame talaga.

Yun clothes ba parang greenhills lang or talagang unique na di mo makikita dito?

Sa shopping dun, ok na yung 15k kasama na food dun.. Mura lang kasi parang dito lang sa Pinas.. Tip sa food, kung medyo tipid mode ka, bili bili ka lang ng masasarap na streetfood tapos kanin.. lol

Sa Pratunam area ka mamili sis.. Sa Platinum Mall madaming magaganda mawiwindang ka talaga.. Colorful talaga yung mall. Sa tapat nun may market tiangge kind of lugar. Ok din dun mamili. Parang divisoria. Pwede din sa MBK sobrang daming good finds. Chatuchak din sis make sure mapuntahan mo ha.. Maliligaw ka sa sobrang daming stalls

Thanks sis Yes puntahan talaga namen chatuchak Kaya lang we will start shopping sa 17 pa. Sa 1st day kasi we have a half day temple tour then after that darecho na kame sa Impact Arena for the Super Junior concert hehe.

Plan namen is to go to Chatuchak market morning ng 17 then ikot onti sa Union mall. Then after that shopping naman sa malls and nearby areas sa hotel namen.

We plan to shop at Pratunam market, Platinum Mall and MBK mall. Sa Indra ba ano mabibili? Puntahan pa kaya namen? Ano pa ba must visit places for shopping? 

Then sympre Siam Paragon, Central World etc. (since magkakalapit lang naman)


Sayang di na namen masingit Ayutthaya and Tiger temple. Would have really wanted to go there
