Sawasdee Kaa! Just got back from our Bangkok trip yesterday :-)

Nag-enjoy kami sa bangkok trip namin kahit kapagod maglakad ng bonggang-bongga :-)
after maglakad ng super layo, (from MBK to Platinum Mall) naglibot-libot at shopping pa kami bago nagpa-foot massage :-)

Will share details of out itinerary soon...back to reality muna ako :-)

Hi Sis Sparkle, tingin tingin ka din ng mga hotels around Pratunam area kasi mas ok ang transportation doon and malapit pa sa mga wholesale markets and shopping malls. Try mo yung Pratunam City Inn. You can check Agoda.com for the rates

try Budacco sis. it's affordable and the rooms are really ok it's in pratunam, very near the shopping area.

Ay alam niyo ba mga sis, may chikka pala ko.. haha

Nung nag BKK kame ni h2b nung Jan 2012 hindi kame nagbayad ng entrance sa lahat ng temples and palaces na napuntahan namen.. "[textspeak!]" Pho, Grand Palace and "[textspeak!]" Arun etc basta lahat ng may entrance fee di kame nagbayad.. Pumila kami ni h2b sa Thai Entrance kasi diba lahat ng lokal dun libre lang haha! Pero kinabahan kame! 

Yung mga textspeak dyan un yung term sa Thai na meaning is "temple".. What ang pronunciation pero walang H.

^gagawin din namin dapat yan, dun naman sa madame taussads, kasi may one time na dumaan kami dun, tinanong namin kung how much ang singil, sabi ng security guard, 200 baht lang, sabi namin, [textspeak!] go, kaso closed na...tapos nalaman namin na 800bht yata siya kung foreigner...eh ang prob, natakot kami, kung pipila kami dun sa local lang, kasi kahit sabihin mong mukha kaming local eh pag nasalita na, patay na...:-)

Nakakaba talaga sis kaso ang mahal kasi pag turista e.. Kaloka.. Yung s Grand Palace dun talaga ko kinabahan kasi pag pasok namen biglang hinarang ako ng guards tas may sinasabi sila pero syempre dedma ko diba.. Yun pala bawal yung suot ko kasi naka-leggings ako nun. So na-gets ko sila kasi tinuturo nila yun suot ko.. Lumabas kame tapos nag-rent kame ng malong.

Off to thailand today.. Phuket muna then bangkok.. Hoping for a good weather and good stay na din

Mga sis, just got back from Bangkok last week.  We went to 2 gem stores coz my mom wanted to look at stones.  Cheaper daw ang stones according to my mom but the set ones are very expensive.  I suggest buying the stones there and have it set here.  Jewellers in Bulacan will be able to create pieces for half the price.

Tama ang mga sisses natin re SUNFLOWER PLACE in Silom Road. Ang linis, mura pa. Highly recommended.

We are going to BKK on May. Saturday 11PM ang dating namin and will be staying at Four Seasons International House. Meron bang night market na near sa place that is until wee hours like 2AM?

Also since Sunday ang next day, we plan on going to Chatuchak for half day and then Grand Palace on the 2nd half of the day. Not sure lang how we will end the night. Any ideas what to do in Khao San since it's near the area? O medyo haggard ang itinerary [textspeak!] puro walk all day ito.

dazzle: sa four seasons international house. kahit hindi ka guest pwede ka magpaship dun. 1 week ata. 50baht per kilo.

fabnprettyjhezy: sa harap ng four seasons maaga nagcclose pero dun sa baiyoke banda may night market. Kaya lang hindi ko type goods pag night mas maganda pag morning. as in!

Check out Khao San Road/Pat Pong/Siam Night Market -- Sis, don't do your shopping in Patpong.. Super taas ng presyo lalo na pag nalaman nila na di ka from Thailand. A copy belt costs up to 300baht in Patpong pero pwede mong mabili ng 100baht sa Platinum or MBK.
Dinner (try to dine at T&K Seafood. T&K Seafood is located at 49-51 Phadung Dao Rd, Chinatown, Bangkok) Masarap at fresh ang food. 200baht ang 6pcs sugpo grilled

Day 2
What Pho temple -- Tip lang don't wear shorts, leggings, sleevless etc. You may have to rent a malong kasi di kayo papasukin pag ganun ang suot. Same with Grand Palace.

(may pwede pa ba kaming idagdag sa day 2 or ok na yung 3?) - Pwede nyo din tawirin from Station 8 where the Grand Palace is eh yung Waht Arun. 3baht ang pamasahe kasi tatawid lang naman yung boat. Maganda pumunta dun 7pm kasi puro ilaw na [textspeak!] temples very amazing.

shopping lang sa pratunam naenjoy ko sa bkk. the weather, people, food ndi ako enjoy. yun temples so-so lang nakakaumay kasi galing kami ng cambodia.

@chloebaby- thanks for the suggestions sis!! I have heard of Waht Arun din kaya lang baka malayo, pero kung medyo near lang siya we might add that din. thanks sis for the tip regarding Patpong

I wonder if there are days na close yung mga attractions/temples? wala naman mga sis ano? everyday open sila? pwera lang kay Chatuchak na weekend lang open?

Get off bts saphan taksin then take a river shuttle to Tha Tien pier. Walking distance lang between [textspeak!] Po & Grand Palace/Emerald Buddha.
