Hi Sissies! Ask ko lang, sulit ba naman pumunta sa Floating Market? May nakita kasi ako yung pinupuntahan pa ng mga tourists ay 1.5 hours away from Bangkok, tapos daw dapat maaga palang nandun na. Ano ba makikita/ma-experience doon?

i think sulit pumunta sa Damnoen Saduak Floating Market (1.5hrs away from BKK) kung isasabay mo na rin siya with another tourist spot within its area, say, the Samphran Ground and Zoo. That's what we did and di ako nagsisi na nag floating market kami.

At first, i thought i would not enjoy. But since malamig sa area ng floating market, narefresh ako from the hot and humid city. Panalo their fruits, gosh, super tamis. We bought several kilos of lanzones, jackfruit and mangoes. Super mura, 100B/kilo mangoes, 125B/kilo lanzones (langsat).

Pag may tanders kang kasama super mag eenjoy, hehe. Pag puro bata, you can strike this off your list UNLESS you're visiting Samphran.

yup, maaga dapat. we we're picked up by the tours company we signed up with at around 645AM.

You'll experience riding a Saphan (boat) through the course of the river going to the main market. Masarap hangin dito kahit na mejo river-ish ang smell sa ibang parts. You'll see spirit houses, different types, sa ibat ibang bahay. You'll see fruits, hats, souvenirs, etc.

Kumain din kami dito ng sticky rice with mangoes nila. We also had fried bananas kaso dont spend on this nalang, mas masarap pa banana-q natin

Thanks Sis! Will ask my friend kung gusto ba niya! Ako kasi okay lang sakin kahit medyo malayo from BKK. Parang sulit din magkuha ng magagandang photos sa market tapos immersed pa sa culture nila. Though sana magkasya pa sa IT namin since mag Ayyutthaya din kami.

Just booked our VDay grand pearl dinner cruise. I hope I get the vouchers through email by tomorrow. I've our plane tickets, booked our hotel (The Peninsula) & this dinner cruise. Yung grand palace tour & kanchanaburi tour balak ko dun ko na Lang I-book pagdating.

i really want to go back to BKK. I loved the food ang mura talga. i would normally buy 2 meals haha sa mura nila ubos ko lahat.  buti hindi naman ako nag gain ng wait kasi puro lakad. haha. lagi ko nilalakad ang pratunam mall from the hotel . Malayo layo din ito. LOL. I took up tuloy Thai cooking lessons pagkabalik dito. I wanna go back to buy Thai ingredients

waaahhh! lapit na ng trip namin, wala pa ako final itinerary. ang hirap maghanap ng baht dito sa atin, wala ako pang-taxi papunta hotel, manggagaling kasi kami ng siem reap..

mahirap kasi bumili ng THB sa Czarina kaya i brought naman USD with me.

I have mga 3thou baht pa, di ko naisip ibenta to pesos when i got back, kasi in the back of my mind, naisip ko, babalik pa ako ng thailand hehe!

what time normally nagbubukas ang mga money changer sa Bangkok mga sis? Past midnight kasi ang dating namin sa airport eh tapos, 8am ang City Tour namin that day. Will be bringing US Dollars too kasi pahirapan maghanap ng Thai Baht sa BDO :-( selected branch lang daw kasi ang meron :-(

depende din sa bukas ng mall. normally 10am. i would suggest, magpa palit ka na kahit konti sa airport tapos the rest labas ng airport

Can you suggest a nice, affordable hotel that is in the city and near shopping districts?

Preferably a hotel that can accommodate  6pax.

Gusto kasi naming family sama sama na lang lahat sa isang room/flat lang if ever.

nawalang nako ng time nito sa city mag pa massage so i ended up having a thai massage sa airport.

Can you suggest a nice, affordable hotel that is in the city and near shopping districts?

Preferably a hotel that can accommodate  6pax.

6 adults ba 'to sis? If so, parang mahirap to find a hotel that won't insist on letting you book 2 rooms.

However, you can try Pathuumwan Princess Hotel near MBK and Siam Paragon. Very accommodating sila sa requests like they allowed early check-in (4.5hrs earlier) and late check-out in our case. Pati yung extra bed they allowed.
