finally got my tickets to Bangkok! :-) nakakuha kami promo tickets via cebu pac for next year. almost 7k lang tee hee!

Dapat early po talaga magpa-reserve ng Baht. ang tagal mo kasi bago ka tawagan ng mga forex.

Kami naman ng family hindi naman type ang thai food. ang konti pa ang fastfoods nila unlike dito sa pinas everywhere meron. pero pag dating sa shopping ng clothes, super sulit. from small to big sizes talaga ang same price pa.

sis soulfly, marami naman fast foods sa mga malls diba? may mcdo, kfc,a&w...di ko na maalala yung mga iba...pero kung dun ka sa medyo malayo sa malls, wala nga...kahit dun sa chatuchak, wala talaga...carinderia-like, marami...pero masarap din naman...:-)

baha pa rin sa bangkok, i mean, yung medyo outskirts ng bangkok...mga 4 weeks pa raw bago bumaba talaga...

sisses, what ang highly recommended hotel niyo? parang gusto ko yung Budacco. May naka-try na ba sa inyo mag avail ng room accommodation via asiatravel? Accepted ba sa Budacco na mag early check-in at late check out?

@yby2476 thanks for the info... haizt.. grabe naman ano ba yang baha na yan, hanggang kelan kaya yan?  everytime n pupunta kami ng bangkok laging my problem kundi rally, baha naman ngayon.. meron pa kyang baha s december? sana wala n para para marating ko na ang bangkok na yan.. first time ko kasi kaya excited.. wala pa kaming hotel, sino na nakapag check-in sa budacco? maganda ba dito? walking distance lang ba ang mga mall mula budacco? TIA

@sis ilovekylie-hay pareho tayo...kami matagal nang plan ang pumunta ng thailand parang way back 2008 pa...kaso natuloy lang kami this year (2011)...mga reasons namin nun, kasi may part ng border ng thailand-vietnam na hinde pwedeng daanan nung 2009 yata...tapos nung 2010 naman dahil sa rally...this year natuloy kami, kasi after ng malalakas na ulan pumunta kami, then pag-alis namin ng thailand, dun naman nag-umpisa yung floods na yan at yung PAL na mga aberya...kaya magaling yung pag-booked ng sister ko...:-)


yung temple tour ba na yan sis ticked pink within bangkok? sorry, di ko kasi binuksan yung attachment mo...:-) kami kasi di na naman ginawa yan although may isang araw kaming naka-plan na umikot sa mga temples sa bangkok, kaso may isang araw kasi kami na nag-ayutthaya, eh puro temple hopping din kasi, so nag-decide na lang kami, na cancel our bangkok temple hopping, and mag-shopping na lang ulit...:-)

sayang talaga yung ayutthaya mga sisses...binaha sila...its worth the trip, kung may time tlaga kayo for one day...hopefully, bumaba na yung flood pag punta niyo ng thailand...:-)

Already booked the following for our bangkok trip in january thru a travel agency:

- 4d3n stay at pathumwan princess hotel with airport transfers, buffet breakfast and half day city tour
- grand palace, emerald buddha and temples tour with transfers
- chao praya princess dinner cruise

I opted to book these thru a travel agency para no hassle na hopefully there will be no flood in thailand anymore when we go there

hello just got back from bangkok
ok ang flight ng pal walang delay
oks din immigration ng pinas at bkk
ayun super init ang weather wala naman baha sa inner bkk
pero sabi high tide daw for oct 28-30 kaya nagdeclare ng 5day
holiday sa bkk nagkalat mga sand bags halos sa lahat ng establishments.
sa first house kami nagstay maganda location kasi
super duper lapit sa palengke at malls dami tiangge magsasawa
ka sa items , yung street ng first house daming vendors. May bagong mall
sa 19th street sa pratunam area sa december daw mag oopen.
Nainis lang ako sa first house ang chaka kasi ng room na
napunta samin ang baho pa buti na lang may dala ako magic tree under construction yung ibang rooms sa
5th floor kaya ang kalat.. sabagay sila yata pinakamura i suggest
sa amari kayo or bayoike . Yung night market sa bayoik
yun. Hay dami tao grabe iba ibang nation sakit ng paa ko and as usual
muntik nako himatayin sa halimuyak ng mga indian
jus mio at nung isang gabi ha isang grupo nila nag aaway.
Ganda ng siam niramit bongga pramis..galing ng effects
at stage ..yung mga performers halos mga batang bakilta haha
infairness magaling sila. Ok naman ang buffet dinner nila sarap
nung potato with white sauce. Sarap din ng dragon fruit.
Ganda ng temples nila lalo na yung sa reclining buddha.
3days 2nights lang kami sayang super bitin. Babalik ulit
kami ni hubby baka next year pag humupa na baha sa
ayuthaya.

yes sis bluez-bumalik kayo to see ayutthaya, pag wala nang baha...although wala ito sa kalingkinan ng angkor complex, must see pa rin ang ayutthaya...:-) so wala pa pala talaga sa inner bangkok ang baha, that's good news...:-)

so you finally booked with pathumwan princess pala... we haven't decided yet kung san hotel kami. torn between getting a hotel na may view ng chao phraya or be within the vicinity of shopping malls.

Hi sis! Yes we chose pathumwan princess kasi my friend who has worked in a travel agency recommended that we stay in siam area. When are you going to bangkok sis?

Sisses, meron po bang mga free maps sa arrival hall ng airport sa bangkok? Kasi gusto ko sana yung may maps ng pratunam and siam yung mga hotels and malls like yung maps sa arrival hall ng sg and hk para mas mabilis kami makapasyal ni hubby? Thanks
