pag PR and Citizen, automatic na pwede i-sponsor ang wife/husband and kids regardless of the province. for parents, supervisa na ang mag-aapply na rules. pag PN application, eto yung depende sa province

"The temporary pause on FSWP applications does not apply to candidates with offers of arranged employment or those applying under the PhD eligibility stream."

mahirap makapasok sa work na related sa field mo. Kasi required dito ang certification which is need mo pa mag aral or mag upgrade dito. Important din ang canadian work experience. Maraming job pero hindi sa field mo. Kung gusto mo field mo mag upgrade or aral ka talaga.

oo nga sis..  nabasa ko din sa ibang thread at ibang forum. They have their own regulations for engineers. kaya eto, kahit mga data entry clerk, admin posts, sine-sendan ko na din ng CVs ko. baka lang sakali may pumansin katulad kay sis honey-ecclaire..

^sis, gusto namin mag migrate ng husband ko. my hubby is currently working there in Grande Prairie, Alberta. kaya lang, we are not so familiar with the options kasi -- if we'll apply as immigrants, or wait nalang after 2 years with his PR.

kwang sun: depende sa work na papasukan mo. let's say cashier or fastfood kahit wala ng experience. kasi ang hinahanap nila dito ay bukod sa canadian experience ay certification from canada, pero sa mga corporate yun or sa malakihang sweldo.

kulitkidz: sis, suggestion lang ha. try nyo mag apply sa mga maliliit na provinces para mas may chance kayo na ma-approve kasi pag sa alberta, ontario, quebec (yang tatlong yan) marami na masyadong immigrants dyan.
try to google provincial nominee sa province na gusto nyo andun lahat ng info.

kwinchesters: i dunno about being in demand dahil sobrang hirap na mag sponsor ngayon unlike 4-5 years ago sobrang dali lang ngayon daming requirements. pero kung may kakilala ka at pwedeng pakiusapan then ok na rin although ang dami pa rin nila babayaran for you. I am in the process of sponsoring my bro and naghihintay na lang sya ng result ng interview nya. yung friend ko naman na ni sponsoran ko last 2008 ay nag apply na ng residency at naghihintay na lang din ng result ng pr nya.

share ko lang .. ontario sis ko and she's doesn't have a problem finding a job there

depende kasi yan kung anong linya ng trabaho ang papasukan.
if you just go for retail, fastfood or factory work, etc its easier to get a job.
professional white collar jobs are a different matter. competition is stiff with the big immigrant population in ontario, toronto in particular. not only do you compete with immigrants but with graduates of colleges/universities here.

kung hindi ka mapili, madali ka makakahanap ng trabaho.
but there are people of are just plain lucky, or those with very good connections.
