I have a sister in the Phils (im in California btw) and she has a pending petition from my father to go here..She's overaged and it will take 5yrs i guess of waiting. I was thinking of her applying to canada under provincial nominee since we have a relative in Manitoba. I would like to know the whole process ur undergoing and how long is the waiting time. Based from ur post ur tita had 1yr of waiting.

i am a registered nurse but without experience training lang sa PGH for 6 mos, i am also an HRM graduate. Dahil desperado na talaga akong mag canada, im thinking of applying as a caregiber or as a crew or dh na lang, nagpatulong ako sa mga pinsan ko, sabi mag immigrant na lang daw. e angmahal naman ng show money di ba, at matagal din ang paghihintay. please help, di ko na alam kung [textspeak!] gagawin ko:(

^sis, matagal ang process sa immigrant. if u want to apply for a job there, sa food chain -- at least 1 year experience sa resto. sa nurse, at least 2 years experience. try other jobs that require less experience sis.

naging assistant manager na ako sa chowking pero matagal na, naging sandwichmaker din ako sa isang coffee shop pero noon pa mga 2000 pa, nag apply na ako sa mercan pero na disqualify ako dahil matagal na raw na experience ko. sana nga kahit dh or caregiver na lang e.im a call center agent right now for 8 years.

hi mga sis, nagapply ako online jobs usually sa IT field.  Kaya lang yung mga reply nila is asking kung meron ba akong work permit at yung iba walang reply. Mahirap ba talaga makapasok kung walang work permit?  Hinde ba sila tumutulong para maprocess yun?

^sis, paki tingnan ang kanilang job description. baka kasi may nakastate na AMO --  it means they won't hire foreign workers, or if they do accept foreign workers, you gotta have a valid working permit na in order to qualify for the job.

no sis. to obtain a wurk permit, one must have a job order and positive LMO
