^not to be racist noh, pero white people really do not want that kind of job kaya nga pinoys are taking advantage and the employers like pinoys din as well kasi very much hardworking and willing. also yung mga nursing job sa northern part of canada, very few canadians ang tumatanggap nun kaya the pinoys go lang ng go kasi malaki ang salary but the weather is much more freezing.

hi. just an update, alberta, canada has opened once again its doors for immigrants. if your occupation is in the health field, 8 months one can be approved as immigrant

Live-in child caregiver yung inapplyan ko..In short, parang nanny.. So under Work Visa sya.. Nakapag-skype na kami ng employer ko sa Fort St.John and the family is really nice.. Ibang-iba talaga compared sa middle eastern people.. Stepping stone lang naman, kahit 1 to 2 years then eventually, in God's will, mag-take ako ng CRNE para maging licensed nurse ako dyan sa Canada. Possible naman yun sis diba? tee hee!!

Hi sis, I just want to ask kung paano ka nakakuha ng employer? I am planning na magcaregiver na lang instead of applying sa immigration process nila (FSW). I think caregiving is the best stepping stone talaga for nurses to get to Canada.

nope. under FSW. but if you have an arranged employment, exempted ka from the show money-thing.
co-manager ko from mcdo, ongoing medical na ngayon, she and her family is off to alberta as immigrant.

^sis paano yung family nya? qualified as dependents ba sila? yung tito ko kasi want to migrate together with his family eh spousal lang ang alam ko tapos sina hubby nun provincial nominee. hehe. hindi ko naman sya ma-iisponsoran, yung parents nga ang hirap paano pa sya.

she had a free assessment at the CIC. when she was qualified, dun na nya file mga needed docs, but she has a job offer already, also at mcdo alberta. food counter attendant nga lang eh. napabilis lang process nya kasi may job offer na siya and her husband is also working at mcdo. they have 2 sons. kasama cla ahat. as family sila nag migrate sis. ang swerte noh? ako nga eh, i am thinking of takin' a chance. may JO na kasi hubby ko rin from mcdo grande prairie.

^baka nga sis pwede na kayo sumabay kagaya nung sa co-manager mo. ang tagal din ng waiting time if hihintayin nyo maging PR si hubby. under spousal visa ako, pero naloloka na ako sa pghihintay. hindi naman sa atat ako pero ang hirap gumalaw kasi if magreresign na ba ako, ibebenta ko na ba yung mga kagamitan ko. hehe. goodluck sayo sis!

paano siya nag apply sis? gusto ko po sana mag apply kahit anong job basta sa canadian based paano po ba yung steps? kahit na attendant lang sa fast food chain ok na .. paano po ba??  kelangan ba talaga may kilala ka na relatives or pwede na sariling sikap mag hanap ng employer na kukuha sa iyo?

Wala pa sis. Kakacomplete ko palang ng documents ko. Nagpeprepare pa lang ako para by June/July (kung kelan mag open ulit ang Canada) complete na documents ko. Yun din kasi ang gusto ng agency ko para hindi ako mag rush.

Question Lang sis.. Ano na yung nga na prepare mon documents? Thanks.. Kasi I'm working on it din kaya Lang wala akong agency.. thanks in advance..

ako rin guston ko rin mag caregiver or crew na lang sana. sayang di kasi ako naka qualified for tim hortons, masyadong old na experience ko sa chowking 1999-2001 pa lang kasi.

sa great aupair sites kelangan ba magsubscribe dun sa may payment?

@sis jhaney: Nagpasa lang ako ng resume through internet.. sa mga Aupair sites.. like Great aupair Canada.. i-google mo na lang sis..
Yung ate kasi ng friend ko ganun ang ginawa.. Engineer sya dito sa Pinas, after nya makapasa ng board, nag-apply sya as an aupair sa Netherlands.. Then, after 2 years engineer na sya sa isang company sa Netherlands..

Pa join. I never thought about migrating to Canada until my uncle invited me just recently, and now excited na ko =)  For Manitoba Nominee program. Any tips sis?

^get in advance na all the paperwork that might be needed. kahit hindi super kailangan as per the requirements listed, isecure mo na. you never know baka kailanganin in the end. prepare yourself, be healthy (para hindi magkaproblema sa medical) at mag ipon ng patience.
