never talaga ako nagpapaprick sa cheeks kasi it leaves ugly dark marks after. sa forehead and nose ok lang. Favorite part ko yung steam kasi feeling ko lumalabas lahat ng impurities kasi inoopen niya pores. 2nd yung laser kasi it closes the pores daw

How's the basic facial of Let's face it? ok ba?

ok din sis.. no redness after .. ang ayaw ko lang pala dun sa let's face it wala silang laser =p. cold towel lang ilalagay eh mas gusto ko laser kasi nakakaclose ng pores

Had a facial at Skin 101 SM North yesterday. Last time I had facial sa Skin 101 was 4-5 years ago pa. Before today, I had been going to Skin Story. Mabait yung receptionist sa Skin 101 but for the most part I didn't enjoy my experience there.

Mas marami yung pimples ko than usual so since di naman ganun kamahal I just initially decided to give a big tip sa gagawa sa akin. Baka kasi kulang yung isang oras. Pero hindi ako umabot ng isang oras at all. Mga 30-45 mins lang siguro. Ang bigat ng kamay nung gumawa sa akin tapos minamadali pa niya ako. (Sa SS, kahit di ganoon kadami pimples ko minsan sumosobra pa sa isang oras. They really take their time kasi.) Imagine, minamadali ka na tapos ang bigat pa ng kamay? Extra painful siya. I've been going to facials for 7-8 years now but I don't remember it being this painful.

Aside from that, taklesa pa yung gumawa. She's like a tactless sister na bigay ng bigay ng unsolicited advice. I'm not saying this is bad. Hindi ko lang talaga na-appreciate yung delivery niya; parang know-it-all ang dating. Di ko alam kung ganito na talaga sa Skin 101 pero siguro nasanay ako sa SS na iingatan ka talaga. May pain pa rin pero delicate sila sa pagprick at pananalita kaya narerelax ka rin.

Yung kanina, hanggang sa pagtanggal ng mask, minamadali pa rin ako. Sinabi ko na sa kanya na medyo mahapdi pero yung pagpahid niya sa mukha ko, ang careless pa rin. Parang wala siyang pakialam. She just needed to get the job done. Not a pleasant experience at all. Di ko siya nagustuhan so she didn't get a single peso from me. Kinuha ko nalang name niya sa receptionist so I know whom NOT to find in case I go there again.

As for the facial, I need to wait for a few days to see the results. Based on experience kasi, I get scabs first tapos pag magfafall off sila.

^^ Hay sis, i've tried din sa Skin 101 for twice now. Mabait and friendly yung receptionist, i agree.
I availed the Anti-Acne Facial, I have acne pero hindi naman gaano madami, i have no problem sa cheeks and other area maliban sa forehead. They led me sa small cubicle with my friend ( I came with my 3 other classmates at parepareho kami ng inavail na facial) First they cleaned my face with a stiff brush and wipe it with cleaning pads, the usual massage using a facial moisturizer, one thing i don't like, is minamadali talaga nila, like they are briskly just rubbing my face, i didn't relaxed at all. Then the steam, i didn't noticed na iniisteam na pala yung mukha ko, yung gumagawa sakin didn't talk to me at all, unlike yung sa classmate ko na iniinform kung anong ginagawa sa kanya, don't get me wrong, i don't usually care kung kausapin man ako o hindi, pero i think na they need to be polite also diba? So then nung niremove na yung steam, i felt nothing, parang wala lang yung steam, then there came the pricking part, i really hate this, mataas ang pain tolerance ko, she concentrated on my forehead obviously, pero parang wala pa atang 10 mins, tapos na. I didn't felt clean, long story short, hindi ko nagustuhan, hindi nila nalinis thoroughly, andami pang natira, and i can feel the bumps on my face when i wash it. For 300 pesos, for me, it's not worth it.

i wanna go to a place sana where they offer facials that really make a difference to your skin. the best i've tried so far is in murad pero yung iba wala akong mashadong na notice na diff in my skin. has anyone tried facial care centre? pet peeve ko din yung mga places na puro sales talk lang

Yung whiteheads ba matatangal sa facials if done monthly? Yung 1st time ko ang sakit..natanggal whiteheads but bumabalik yung whiteheads..

@kyuza: madam around 1500 yung aquapeel. Pero parang may iba silang traditional facial na kasing-presyo ng karamihan. Pero sulit aquapeel.
