^ I had my facial at the Timog branch. Nadisappoint ako kasi I opted to "upgrade" my facial from the basic one which is just P300, to the Hyal-C facial:
"Hyal-C Facial – Our exclusive Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C ionotherapy includes cleansing, facial massage, extraction and laser, to delay signs of aging, lighten skin discoloration, and keep acne under control. An excellent fitting finale to a soothing Mini-Facial."

Akala ko may special machine to infuse the Hyal-C serum, yun pala, pinahiran lang yung skin ko ng very thin layer nung serum nila. Naman! I paid an extra P300 for that??? Siguro partly my fault kasi I didn't ask too many questions. But I really felt I was riped off.

And sobrang turned off ako kasi the whole time that I was having my facial, pinipilit akong bentahan nung therapist ng kung ano-anong products and services nila. Def not going back!

I usually get the diamond peel with facial which is 900 something. That's an hour and a half of treatment/pampering. Skin Story's at the 4th level of rob metro east. If you know where Fitness First is, sa right side may big area where most of the facial clinics are. Nasa left end side sya nung area na yon.

Sis, thanks! Mukhang maganda nga ito. Sayang nga lang ang layo din! I have a package pa na inuubos sa Slimmers' World malapit dyan sa may Metro East.

I hope they open a branch in QC soon!

I used to be a Dermstrata customer (years and years back, Sta Lucia branch). I was really upset kase never naman nangyari saken yun dun before. I never went back and I told my friends who were customers there too of my experience and they never went there na din.

^yan lang ang mahirap if you go to commercial skin clinics... their facialist/therapist....  that's why when i go to dermstrata, i make sure that the same person does my facial/dp   :)

I don't know which thread to post this so I'll just post here.

May alam ba kayong remedy for gigantic nose pores na grabe mag-attract ng blackheads? Ok naman the rest of my face except for my nose. Ano ba pwede dito, diamond peel, chemical peel, fraxel, IPL, dermroller?

Wala naman akong scars nor pimples anywhere else on my face.

- CIT/Collagen Induction Therapy or Dermaroller would be the best....  each treatment triggers the production of new collagen and elastin that progressively fills the depressed scars and deep lines...  with successive treatments skin becomes firmer, smoother and more elastic, and the complexion becomes and looks more balanced and healthier. CIT is pretty much like a non surgical facelift. primary benefit of this treatment is to repair scar tissue caused by acne or chicken pox. it will also solve problems of fine lines or light wrinkles, reduce pore size, tighten facial skin and refine stretch marks.

- Pixel (which is equivalent to , but it has a downtime (check out the laser resurfacing thread)

- Chemical Peel + Power Peel... cheapest of the three...

Mga sis, ano ba pwede treatment that doesn't involve pricking or anything na masusugatan face ko? Ang dami kong blackheads and whiteheads tapos medyo malalaki pores ko some parts of my cheeks.

^no other way but to extract them thru pricking... else, lalalim ng lalalim siya   ;)  then invest in a good toner, exfoliate regularly & use mask once a week (steam your face before putting on the mask to open up the pores, then after removing the mask, wash your face with an ice cold water to help close the pores)    ;)

Sisses, I got a coupon from HOO's mailing list, 50% off on a TRUPEEL treatment. Effective kaya 'to for my nose pores? Or iba talaga pag Dermaroller (P20,000 yata cost nito?)? I'm not sure pero baka P8,000 ang regular price ngayon ng TRUPEEL, so with the discount baka mga P4,000 na sya. Is that a good deal na?

^1 session won't make any big difference sis, imo... you might wanna do diamond peel / power peel + chemical peel  :)  some independent dermas charge you with just 1k for both this treatment already (check out the dermatologist's guide thread)   ;)

haha, oo nga no. have just read loball's question. yan din trupeel ang nirecommend sakin ni doc pero di ko pa ni-avail, di pa rin ako nag inquire kung magkano. Sabi ni doc after treatment you cannot wash your face daw for 6 hours. Parang ang mahal naman ng 4k per session.
