I had my first ever facial last night and it hurts so much! I was tricked instead of treated by my mom, who insisted I should have a facial too ( I had a lot of pimples recently due to stress)...i am not exaggerating, i really cried due to so much pain! they pricked, scrapped every bit of pus, blood and dirt they can get our of my pores...i just hope my skin heals fast and hope the pain is worth it...

PS i never looked so ugly...

Im scouting for clinics in my area that would give me the results na I wanted. Kutis artista. LOL. Un parang banat na poreless na namumula mula. Anyway, I called HOO earlier today since sakanila ako nagpapalaser din naman and asked away ano pwede sakin, they advised me to get the hydra facial or the signature facial which costs areounf 3-4k. Gusto ko lang pa facial ulit to get rid of the blackheads and whiteheads until my clarisonic arrives. I also asked kung irerequire ako ng doctor for a set ng mga gamot nila for the face how much would the damage be, range is 26k! So para ako atakihin sa puso. I was willing to pay for the 3k facial treatment but not 26k for a set of maintenance na gamot.

I used to go to slimmers for facials I still have some left pero wala na ako tiwala sa facial nila cos theyre just like any other facial salons out there. Thinking of getting one sa belomed.

i rarely do facials and when i do, i go to a dr talaga kasi scary naman kung sa trained person lang.. nasasaktan parin ako and umiiyak pag inaalis nya yung blackheads sa sides ng nose ko kahit ilang beses ko ng nagpa facial.. yun yung biggest concern ko eh.. blackheads..

dito lang ako sa dermclinic malapit samin..

Ako naman.. I started having my face touched by a derma last 2009-2010 I think.. I didn't expect my face to be like that after nila iprick.. As in sugat sugat face ko.. But after a week.. Medyo Makinis na.. They told me balik ako after 2 weeks so ito naman ako balik.. Then pricked ulit.. Swear every 2 weeks un.. Until sa wala nakong oras pra bumalik sa kanya, I tried dermstrata.. Dermstrata is okay for me.. Pricking din sila but pg tpos ng session prang walang nangyari, I mean walang sugat sugat..

Ang ayoko lang, sa sobrang pag de-derma ko.. It came to a point na "uka-uka" na or may pula pula scars na sa face ko pag walang makeup.. I cried.. Ayoko naman ng bumalik dun sa derma kasi baka ma sugatan ulit.. I really dont know what to do with my face right now.. Ngayon makeup nalang talaga nagagawa ko.. Sabi nga ng boyfriend ko "Yung face mo.. Uka uka na..May pula pula na.. Mag foundation ka nalang"

Right now, I'm having breakouts. I think I have 2-4 pimples in my cheek and forehead. The doctor recommended me to use their erythromycin solution, she said it is an antibiotic.
Girls, it is normal to have breakouts after having your first facial?

Sa mga nagpa glycolic peel sa belomed, gano katagal ang downtime? Kasi I have to be in the office once a week so ayoko naman magpakita sakanila nagbabalat ako. LOL.

Hindi dapat sis. Kasi it proves na may naiwang dumi sa face mo when they're pricking. Bukas kasi pores mo diba, so it's possible na may pumasok na dumi, then na-trap na pagclose ng pores

I went to Dermclinic din before and in my experience, di porke derma, eh maayos na. Ang sakit sakit sakit ng pricking nila dun kahit derma ang gumagawa. Ang mahal pa. So I left. Went to Skin Station for a time which um-ok ang face ko. Then now, I'm going to Dermstrata kasi I find their pricking less painful. Nung bumalik ako Skin Station, nasaktan na ko.

Has anyone had several sessions na ba of Crystal Resurfacing sa Dermstrata? I had my first session last Sunday, mas effective daw sa Diamond peel. True ba?

nagpafacial ako sa LFI, grabe parang dinaanan ng bagyo at lahar mukha ko! di na talaga ako babalik dun! nagbreak out ako after tapos lahat ng pinrick nagiwan ng sobrang pangit na peklat! parang lumala iyon nangyare sa mukha ko.

oh no, so mali and hindi maganda iyong pg gawa nila?  I will never go back to there. Flawless Sta Lucia branch. and my aethestician is Jho. I thought okay siya kasi she is friendly so ngkasundo kami. Haaay. Sana um-okay nadin [textspeak!] face so. there is so many small zits now in my cheeks

hello..  niyayaya po ako ng friend ko na sumama sa kanya magpafacial sa isang sikat na derma po.. kaya lang mga trainee pa lang po ang magpefacial samin. free po kasi siya and tao naman po ng tita niya yung hahawak samin so alam ng tita nya na maayos naman (sana) sila. 

ang question ko lang po.. 18 pa lang po kasi ako. di po ba masyado p ko bata para magpafacial? at saka wala naman po kasi akong pimple as in once in a blue moon lang sya dumadating.. kaya lang ang pinaka problem ko lang naman po sa mukha ko is marami po kasi akong blackheads and whiteheads na mahirap i-avoid dahil sa pag-byahe.

mga sis, I can't find any other suitable thread para ipost itong tanong ko, so dito ko na lang itatanong. What's the best or appropriate 'facial treatment' ba para mawala yung malalaking pores sa tabi ng nose/below the eyes. Gusto ko talaga silang mawala kasi gusto ko kuminis ang face ko. Yung mga pimples nakukuha naman sa regular facial pero yung mga parang tuldok sa tabi ng nose di talaga nawawala even with diamond peel (can't remember how many DPs I had pero madami na). Please help.

^pores... once they are open can never be closed... it's a sign of age also... it can be refined to make it smaller   

wrong way of pricking can also open up pores & make them bigger

oh no! hayz! tingin ko nagkaganito face ko dahil sa dermclinic, grabe experience ko dun dati sobrang bugbog ang mukha ko kaya I switched to another clinic. Di naman siguro sa age kasi bata pa naman ako. So what treatment ba dapat para marefine ang pores?

^that's it... the reason why you had open/enlarged pores is because of pricking....

but the 2 main contributors that cause large pores is genetics & age. collagen begins to break down, and skin begins to lose elasticity as people get older... thus the enlarged pores.

there are other cause like the appearance of blackheads and pimples -- pores become clogged by dirt... oil starts to build up... causing the pore's walls to dilate to make room. ..

there's a big misconception regarding permanently diminishing the size of the pores. but there are ways greatly reduce the appearance of enlarged pores.
