Hi! Pls suggest games for kiddie party based on age group.  We are planning our daughter's birthday party and im hoping that this year all the kids will have a chance to join the games. Last year kasi our host's games are more for older kids. 

For all ages we are thinking of having a 'hunt' like an easter egg hunt.

Pls suggest what games we can do for 1 - 2 yr olds, 3-4, etc.

Games for kids
Roll Out the Marble
How to play
 To get started: Cut the cardboard tubes into equal-length troughs, one for each player (ours were approximately 1 foot long). Have players line up 2 to 3 feet apart.

To play: The first person in line sets the marble on one end of his trough, then, without touching the marble, rolls it the length of his tube and into the next player's (it's okay if troughs touch). That player passes the marble to the next, and so on. As each player passes the marble, he moves to the end of the line, eventually catching the marble again and passing it on. If someone drops the marble, he's out and the marble goes back to the beginning of the line. Whoever's left is the winner.

    Our testers' twist: For larger groups, divide the players into 2 teams. Give each team a marble and have them race to pass it around the group 3 times. If a team drops their marble, they must start all over again.

My daughter is 2 years old so still too young to join in the traditional games in most children's parties we attend. Which is why I really appreciated the host of my godson's birthday. She had games specfically for 1-3 year olds so they can join in on the fun.

One game used those parachutes that Gymboree or Kindermusik has. The straps had different colors and each kid would grab a strap and with music raise the parachute up or down. When the music stopped, the host pulled a card and whoever was holding a strap with the color written on the card won a prize.

Another game was pass the parcel, kids formed a circle and a prize was passed around. When the music stopped, the kid holding the prize got to keep it.

The other game my daughter joined was a flashcard game, the host threw down flashcards with drawings on the floor. The host would then call out a flashcard and the toddler would have to pick it up. Mommies and yayas not allowed to help (except to point).

I was really happy my daughter got to join and not just watch. My daughter had a blast too of course
