hi sis! april 30 ang schedule ng daughter ko Ok naman kasi feedback ng Friend ko sa MSM, I got the breakdown of their tuition fee, decided na kami ni hubby na dun na, hope may mommy ako ma meet dun  na GT mommy


Sis mitch, if wala kami makita na tutor near to our house baka try namin sa E-nopi, same din ba sila ng kumon na may program na sinusunod or more of tutoring sila?

sis ang scheduled seat in ba ng daughter mo ang april 30? me schedule ka na agad? When I submitted kasi our requirements siguro mga early march, sabi nila they'll text us the schedule ng seat in. until now wala pa din. 
personally, mas gusto ko talaga ang MSM, kaya lang issue sakin ang parking ..lalo na rainy season pa naman sa june kaya tuloy nag dadalawang isip ako. Medyo panic mode na nga ako kasi i need to decide soon otherwise, baka maubusan ng slot ang bebe ko.

E-nopi bale eye level na sila ngayon. basically pareho lang sila ng kumon, magkaiba lang ata sila ng worksheets. Colorful ang mga worksheets kaya mas interesting for my daughter. Although mas mahal ng unti ang eye level (1980) as compared with kumon (1800). Satisfied naman ako sis sa e-nopi and nice din mga instructors nila sina teacher marge and teacher joy.

sis P1980/monthly. session is 2x a week, 45 minutes /session. meron registration fee o enrollment fee (hinde ko lang maalala how much) and upon enrollment me advance na 1 month na babayaran. (Na magagamit on your last month should you decide na mag stop na sa tutorial).

I went to Darwin and i was so disappointed with the school structure. When i went in to inquire, the lady who accommodated me was not so welcoming. For a school that seemingly boosts english-speaking students, why is the person in the registrar's office does not speak english? Am glad i bumped into two parents whose kids were enrolled last school year in Darwin who are so disappointed and they are pulling out their kids. So Darwin has been crossed out in my list of candidate school for my son who is an incoming grade 1. My son passed the entrace exam in holy but the i backed out because i learned that the classrooms are not airconditioned (my son sweats a lot) and there are at least 45 students per class. What?? I received a comment from an alumna that the quality of education has deteriorated. It is still ok but not a great school anymore. She is tutoring kids from different schools and the students from ICSM/ICSB are the most competitive she observed. So this school is on my top list. But when I went to Stella Maris Academy,  I heard nothing but praises about this school from parents themselves. My churchmate  told me that her daughter was an honor student in st. Mary's but when she was transferred to stella, she really struggled. The lessons are so advanced and students have mastery in all subjects, not just memorization if you know what i mean. But what impressed me the most is the students are so nice at magagalang. Naka ilang "good morning" ako! Nagulat kaso kasi nakaupo lang ako sa table filling out the application form at may naririnig akong greetings. I ignored it kasi i was paying attention to the form. Yun pa la kahit nakatalikod ako and i was not looking, students who passed by will stop to greet me. My heart welt up with joy. My son will take the entrance exam on april 11.  I first considered MSM but  it is far from my place. Heard that it is a great school. Magaling daw talaga turo pero malakas daw politika dyan. Umm. So there goes! Tips ko lang mommies if you really want to get realistic info about a certain school, puntahan nyo at chikahin nyo mga mommies and observe how the students behaved. I do that. I stay longer at have a chit chat with the parents, even the cleaner and guards. hehe. Also check the accreditation level at kung sumasali ba sila sa mga competition so you know the school standing. Darwin does not join any academic competition so pano ma gauge if the school is really performing.  Excuse the long post. This is my first. Am using ipad so hirap pa ako mag type nyan. hehe

Thanks sis ymma nakapag inquire na kasi ako sa ICSM kasi dun pumapasok daughter ng brother ko, kaya lang di daw sila tumaranggap ng religion namin aww... Hehe. How much daw tuition sa stella? English environment din sis? Thanks

@ymma - we have the same observation with Stella Maris students. Super nice and they welcome visitors with warm sincerity. I too was impressed. 1 student na nadaanan namin even offered us (me and my daughter) a candy. And when we looked inside the classroom, while a class is on going, They all greeted us good morning and nagulat ako when another student approached us and gave us a hug.

I think their tuition fee is around P27k - P28k (inclusive of daily merienda pa for the kids.) Airconditioned classrooms kaya nga lang , my only concern is parang medyo magulo ang hallway nila (because of the shoeboxes na nakalagay sa mga cabinets outside their classrooms.)

On Monday, last look kame sa MSM.. although mas parang ICSB na ata ang mapipili namin for my daughter.

Darwin texted us that our daughter passed the exam,but they requiring us to enroll our daughter for their summer class, 3 subjects daw, so no choice pala kundi pasukan namin summer class. , hinde na kami nag confirmed kasi nga like sis Ymma hinde ko talaga type environment dun, then hinde nga din convincing yung humarap sa amin. For now sa MSM talaga isip ng husband ko.

hi mga mommies , ako din nagscout ng school montessori of malolos and holy spirit lang ang choices ko, ended up sa HOLY kami  kasi big school plus catholic school, ang hirap sa bulacan walang progressive school, Kinder 1 na yung daughter ko pag pasok sa holy pero 2 years sya nag day care in balagtas (TEACHING LITTLE CHILDREN in BALAGTAS BULACAN) progressive school sha magaling sila talaga kaya ready na si daughter for sure pag pasok sa HOLY. I HOPE MAHANAP nio na mga mommies ang right school for the kids

I tried ICSB too, and i came from a public school prior to that and I must say na the quality of education is really good there. I studied there for 2 years then I transferred to holy spirit. The only thing I noticed is that mas naenhance ang oral english skills ko as well as written.

@joanniekiko sis, yan din consideration ko kasi we are not catholics. sa icsm kasi may praying of rosary, etc. stella is non-secterarin so suited for my son. sa stella 32,622 tf for grade 1, cash basis. Pag monthly installment, 34,900, 15k upon enrollment, 2,400 monthly. Meron din semestral, 20,900 upon enrollment and 12,772 to be paid in october. Meron din quarterly, 19k upon enrollment, then, 5,700, 5,700 and 4k. They have summer classes also for transferees starting april 17 for 20 working days, at least 2 hours a day for 3k yata. Depende po yata sa evaluation if the child needs reinforcement, or enrichment lang.

@mich sis, i didn't notice the clutter in the hallway. Ang behaved at disciplined nga mga kids eh. Ang ayos sa pila. They know where to go at walang tulakan. Sa dati kasing school ng anak ang gulo nila at kahit sa stage nagsisikuhan. Lol mukhang may pag asa ma tame son ko sa stella.

@mommyrenee i have until end of april to decide kung itutuloy ko sya sa holy. Ang pre-elem lang kasi airconditioned rooms. Good po na nakapag decide na kayo.

hello! i am also looking for a good preschool in bulacan. particularly meycauayan or marilao (that is just near meycauayan). any feedback with barcelona academy? like ok ba yung mga staff and instructors, tuition fee, rules and regulation. or any suggestions on what could be the best preschool in meycauayan? thanks in advance!

SMCM and SPCB are known schools already and has reputations na in terms of quality education. Kaso I want to hear feedback also dun sa mga nabangit ko sa taas. Mas nearer kasi sa place ko ang mga ito

Sis, my son passed the entrance exam in stella yesterday. I was in agony for 2 hours just waiting for the exam to finish. After his exam, we waited for 15 mins or so for the result and evaluation and thankfully, he passed. The guidance counsellor showed me the test paper and discussed the results. He did very well in math pero pasang awa sa english. Hehe. Mostly reading, spelling and reading comprehension in english. For math, fill in the missing number, identification of odd and even numbers, clock/time, fraction and simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. That's all i remember. The test is long. Not only the result of the test is evaluated, but also the attitude of the child while taking the test, how he/she handles the pressures, how  he/she asks questions, the attitude towards the teachers etc. They assess the emotional readiness of the child. Important din yong may "po" at "opo." Advice lang should you pursue having your child take the entrance exam, to come on proper attire both the examinee and the companion. Meron kasing mother kasabayan ko naka spaghetti top ayun ni-reset exam date ng daughter nya. They were asked to come back the next day. I have reserved for the summer program starting april 17 to may 17 from 8 to 11 am. Fee is 3,200, may group may individualized/one-on-one depending on the evaluation. It is not purely academics, may arts, craftmanship, even cooking lessons. There are am and pm classes for grade 1. Usually, the am class is reserved for old students pero depende pa din daw sa result ng test for the transferees. 50/50 pa daw sila sa son ko. If he did well in the summer program, i can enroll him in the am class which i prefer of course. The excitement is bulding up. good luck to you and your child sis.

Stressful talaga mag scout ng school. Napagod na nga son ko kaka-take entrance exam anak ko. Why does he have to take many entrance exams daw? Last nya sa claret in qc. Gusto kasi ni hubby sa qc sya mag aral because we both work there. Personally, i prefer malolos, peaceful and less temptations. Mas madami kasi bad elements sa qc. Hayst.
