Currently applied for Leaders of Learning by Harvardx in edx.org The course will start at July 8 2014 for 6 weeks lenght and 4-6 hours a week.

hi.. nagtry ako magregister sa busuu.com yung free lang.. enjoy sana kaya lang dahil free lang laging hindi matapos yung mga lessons pinag uupgrade to premium.

I've tried Alison before, ni-refresh ko lang photoshop skills ko, okay naman siya pero you need to pay for the certificate. Just like Coursera, though it offers free Statement of Accomplishment for those who cannot afford to pay for the verified certificate pero I vouch for this sis, very good MOOC.

Sa Alison ba? Hindi ko inavail yung certificate nila sis. I just tried it out to refresh my photoshop skills.

Sa Coursera naman, I registered under signature track which means, makakakuha ako ng verified certificate from the university like University of Michigan under Coursera platform. Pero on-going pa yung course ko up to now. probably will end 1st week of August. excited na ko, It's a programming course (Python language) and super like ko yung MOOC. Nga pala sis, Free lang yung certificate ko dun, nagsigned up ako sa Financial Aid program nila kasi $49 talaga ang amount nung certificate if you will avail. I am taking my programming course along with other 4 courses. Enjoyable siya and a very good way to spend my spare time at home and in office.

You can also try MIT and other online learning courses.

MIT is opencourseware din. same with Coursera but haven't tried this one. Siguro pagkatapos na lang nung sa Coursera ko.

Hindi naman mahirap sis. Self paced naman siya and yung deadlines ng quizzes and peer assignment weekly din. May mga programming class na medyo challenging yung assignment pero okay lang, pag uwi ko sa house saka ako nagaaral. Try it sis.

^Sis, visit mo yung details about sa Coursera Financial Aid sa site nila and then, may option dun on how to apply for financial Aid. All you need to do is to write them a letter kung bakit mo deserve makakuha ng F.Aid.

Anyone still on Coursera? Just finished a short course today. I'm a little tired but it's fun. Sayang lang kasi they charge now for certificates no? Before they were free! Now $35 ata. Not sure if this applies to all courses though.

Talaga sis? the last course I took its free pa. pero talagang may charge yung registered certificate nila. But I managed to get one thru financial aid. madali lang naman. you will just write an essay to prove you are not capable of paying the fee.
