wala ata syang mga certificates based sa mga nacheck kong courses but you can take the courses for free.

I saw another free online course on a friend's facebook. It was recently featured on TED Talks.  There are different topics to choose from, and the professors are highly-esteemed professors from Ivy league universities.  You might want to check out Coursera.org. 

I signed up for 3 courses - Introduction to Programming, Learning Python, and Introduction to Mobile Apps.  Yung iba TBA pa yung schedules, pero yung intro to programming, start na in September. Wala akong background sa web programming, and hindi pre-req ang marunong sa web programming.

Hope others will enroll too para may kausap akong pinoy rin, hehe.

May nakatapos na ba ng course dito?
Interested kasi ako but I don't know how it works or anong use nung courses.
Tipong pwede ba syang ilagay sa resume or dagdag knowledge lang talaga?

Sis, I'll start my course on September 24.  I'll share if ok ba or ano yung set-up.

I think the courses are for added knowledge lang. Yung kinuha kong course sana may matutunan ako about programming.  Upon completing the program for some courses, you'll be issued a certificate signed by the professors.  I don't know if may bearing sa resume yun.

Magssign-up sana ako sa coursera kaso naalala ko nakaregister na pala ako dun last year. Nagsign up ako for medical neuroscience and anatomy, kaso nung malapit na yung classes biglang nacancel. Sabi mageemail daw sila ulit pero after a year wala naman haha

3 weeks na ako sa programming course sa Coursera.org.  Medyo masakit ang ulo ko, haha. They'll give you weekly videos, assignments, and exercises.

I really want to learn programming so the online course really helps.  Pero syempre, basics lang ang ituturo. You need to practice and apply what you have learned.
