hi sisses!!! got married here last November 26, 2011 and i'll just share my suppliers ratings (1-5, 5 being the highest). I'll make this as concise as possible, kase takas lang ako sa work. hahaha!
btw, i'll put ++ for my fave suppliers
so here it goes:
1. Church - St. Jerome Emiliani and Sta. Susana Parish = 5+
For me it's the best. Since small wedding lang kami, gusto ko yung Church magmukhang puno. so ganun nga yung nangyari kasi hindi naman masyadong malaki yung Church. tama lang pati yung aisle, hindi mahaba,
[textspeak!] maikli.
suits well for an intimate wedding.
2. Reception Venue - Monte di Portofino = 4.5
I love our venue. Fresh tignan lalo kasi may pool sa loob ng clubhouse and tahimik yung village.
Ang nirent namin is the Gran de Roma (yung events hall nila na airconditioned). it's good for 150 persons lang talaga, imo. Kapag sobra na dun, sobrang sikip na. sa may fountain area namin nilagay ang cater namin to save space sa loob ng events hall. other than that, this Venue for me is almost perfect (scenery, ambience, lightings)
3. Caterer - Hizon's = 5++
What can i say? Hizon's is still the best for us.
Food is superb, lahat ng naging detailings namin sa kanila, centerpieces, backdrop, linens, lahat, ni-deliver nila talaga perfectly...
i love them.
4. Photo/ Video - Eros Portraits = 2
Kung sa galing at galing lang, magaling sila. quality ang pictures, pati albums. hindi ko lang gusto is yung rapport nila sa client. medyo rude pati sa ibang suppliers ko. kaya i won't recommend them.
5. Flowers - Tropical Blooms = 5++
I didn't expect na sobra kong magagandahan sa flowers ko. Mura lang sila sumingil, but then the flowers are lovely! Nasabi nga ng HMUA ko, parang flowers daw from the States. Natuwa nga ako eh. nakalimutan ko na lang yung combinations ng flowers but the arrangements are perfect.
6. Event Styling - Tropical Blooms = 5+
Lahat ng details na nadiscuss namin sa bridal fair ni miss Matet, dineliver talaga nila on our day. hindi ko nga inexpect na yung drapings meron pa sa may wall. akala ko sa kisame lang kase semi-drapings lang. pero nilagyan nila sa may wall, sa windows, meron ding crytals and lanterns. i loved it talaga. mabait pa si miss Matet.
7. Hair and Make-Up - Michelle Cabillon Camaclang of GlamPH = 5++
Miss Mitch is so mabait, sweet and approachable. Kahit sa text, accomodating sha.
she lets you choose kung anong shade ang gusto mo for the Ceremony and for the Reception.
on time dumating and she's very professional. kasi nun medyo naiinis na sha sa photographer ko (na nakakainis talaga that time, pati ba naman blush ko pinakialaman?!
), she didn't say a word. tahimik lang sha, ako pa nga yung nahiya. sabi nia ok lang daw yun, it's part of the business. basta she's good! yung mukha kong haggard, napa-lighten up nia! hehe
8. Bridal Gown and Entourage's gowns - Dore Bridal Couture = 5++
I love my gown.

i also love my entourage's gowns, pati gowns ng mommy and ate ko
simple yet elegant. marunong and magaling na designer ang owner nito na si Dorothy Dayawon.
Hats-off to her.
super bait pa nia, pati mommy nia na lagi nia kasama sa shop nila. hehe
9. Photobooth - Pix and Pose Photobooth = 3
I rated them 3 although okay naman sila, nagdeliver sila ng gusto ko ng layout sa picture pati na yung backdrop. medyo nahirapan lang ako icontact sila nun nagpapa-finalize na kami ng design sa layout. other than that, okay na.
10. Wedding coordination - Jacee Uy of Wedding Royale = 4.5
Jacee knows her stuff well, pati na yung mga kasama nia ring coordinators. mabait sila kausap and very accomodating talaga sa lahat ng needs ko pati ni hubby
i can say na sulit ako sa binayad ko sa kanila na 8k only for an OTD coordination
kaya 4.5 lang yung rating kasi kapag may meetups kami minsan na-le-late si Jacee, but not naman to the point na sobrang late na parang 1 hr, hindi naman
11. WEdding Rings - Goldenhills Jewelry = 5
We love our bands
12. Wedding car - DOn Robert's Bridal Car = 4
In terms of service and pucntuality, okay sila.
pero siguro yung napili lang namin na car (Benz 260E AMG), is nice on the outside but not the interior. but mabait si kuya driver.
13. Invitations - Printed Matter = 5
Mabilis sila makipag transact and quality ang papers pati layouts.
14. Souvenirs for the Primary Sponsors - Tiffany Novelty = 5
I bought wine holders from there. okay naman and maganda. hindi lang nila nakuha yung gusto kong color na apple green. medyo bright green yung lumabas, but okay lang. maganda pa rin naman, and madali sila kausap so i give them a rating of 5.
15. Band - Totally Mesmerized = 5++
They truly lived up to their name! even our host acknowledged them during the reception kasi super galing nila kumanta!
quality and effortless ang voices nila
super sulit pa. their rate is only 12k, both Church and reception na yun
hats-off to them too!
