Naiinis ako sa senator.  I agree with Saul, ano ba nga naman ang alam ng isang political appointee sa operations ng CIA compared sa isang career official?  I like the speech he made right after the toast.  Galing lang ng analogy -- sampal kay senator and his supporters.  Still, it would not matter because politics will come into play and the trio only has two weeks left to crack the Iranians.

Netizens nga are rising against the Dana-soaked scenes.  Half of the latest episode is about her and her homicidal boyfriend.  They have the same animosity towards her as they did with Skylar White of Breaking Bad at gusto na rin nilang mawala siya sa eksena ... forever LOL!  But for Carrie to jeopardize their operation just to get a buzz on Dana from Agent Hall hmmmmmm... maybe she is right -- Dana might be the only person Brody might get in touch with.  Supporters of Dana din naman have a point that in the Brody household she is the only one keeping it real with what is happening to her family.  She singlehandedly stopped Brody from blowing himself up in that bunker so maybe she will still play a huge part in the series or anything that would concern Brody.

I just hope that they would stop with these subplots, that she would be less angsty and that we have seen the end of Leo Carras (really, please!) and get back on being the political thriller that it should be.

Carrie is pregnant?!!!!  Ang dami niyang pregnancy test kit na ginamit.  Hindi kaya maka-apekto sa bata yung mga tine-take niyang gamot while she was hospitalized at yung stress dito sa work niya?

Mabigat sa loob yung scene between Dana and her mom.  But I know where both are coming from and in the end, naintindihan din ng mom niya her need to start anew no matter how difficult or impossible that may be.

Ang tindi ni Javadi, katakot!

Ang galing talaga ni Saul mag-isip.  He turned Javadi into an agent of the US government LOL!  I liked what Saul did to the senator.  Mahirap talaga pag hindi career and uupo sa isang sensitive na opisina and that person did not rise from the ranks.  Masyadong short-sighted at hindi visionary.  Back to Saul, I wish magkabalikan sila ng wife niya.  Kita naman na he really cares for her.  Nagulat ako noong tinanong niya si Javadi if Brody was involved in the Langley bombing.  Apparently, he still has his doubts with Brody.  Javadi told Carrie that another man of Abu Nazir moved the bomb and not Brody.  So IF Brody is not involved, then he is not a terrorist?  Sure, in the past he could have been the suicide bomber BUT he did not go through with it.  Then again, he killed the Vice President because Carrie's life was on the line and he has this loathing for the Vice President but does that make him a terrorist or just a murderer?

Quinn is getting frustrated with his job and starts to question if what they are doing is for the greater good.

It's two Dana-less episodes in a row for Homeland

Saul is the one paying top dollar to keep Brody safe?  Sabagay he has the authority to shell out money for covert operations.  Ano naman kaya ang papagawa ni Saul kay Brody?  Is he convinced that Brody is innocent?

Yung lover ng wife ni Saul is only hooking up with her so he can get information on her husband?

Ang tigas talaga ng ulo ni Carrie -- she will jeopardize months of work just to save the life of the man who will prove Brody's innocence.

Hanga a ko sa resiliency ng katawan ni Brody... it takes a LOT when you are so deep into drugs and you go cold turkey.  Galing ng Special Ops at ni Carrie to bring him back to shape.  But then again, the one that really made him turn his world around is Dana -- again!

Nadurog naman ang puso ko sa scene noong mag-ama.  Noon ko lang na-realize kung gaano kabigat yung dinadala ni Dana.  I hope that Brody will come out alive and successful in his final mission for redemption, for Dana, for Carrie and their unborn child.

Galing lang din talaga ng utak ni Saul!  I liked the confrontation scene with Carrie when Carrie brought back Brody 45 minutes before take-off.  Gusto ko rin yung professional-personal relationship nila ni Carrie.

^ yup 13 weeks.  Maganda itong season na ito sis!  Last night nga napaiyak nila ako eh.  Dana was soooooo good it moved me to tears -- I have to agree that it was an Emmy-worthy performance, seriously!  She delivered her lines with sooooo much pain -- nangingilid tuloy ang luha ko just remembering it

Sabi nga ng isang reviewer:  "It wasn’t the lines. It was the way Saylor played the silences. The look on her face after she opened that door flashed 1,000 emotions: disbelief, defiance, love, hate, anger, confusion and everything that a daughter who was ready to kill herself to escape her father’s sins must be feeling when he shows up at her doorstep."

Alam ko sis tin dami ka ring series na sinusubaybayan but Homeland will not let you down -- this season is the best yet.

^ will watch it sis soon. baka this weekend pag natuloy ang 4days na off dito. di ko na kasi keri lahat panoorin eh. pero pa hiatus naman na tong mga series na pinapanood ko so time to watch yung mga hindi ko napanood at ang Breaking bad!

Homeland is my new favorite series now, season 1 pa lang ako and im so hooked with it. Looking forward to finish season 1 & 2 this week

Nlauha na naman ako sa latest episode.  At first, Brody had cold feet pero noong malaunan na at nalaman niya na the mission will be aborted, biglang nagbago ang ihip ng hangin.  I think he is really bent on redeeming himself to Dana talaga.  I really, REALLY hope he succeeds and that he goes back home alive and well.

Grabe talaga itong si Javadi.  Pero I think yung undercover agent na bumalik for Brody, he really risked his life na talaga to see the mission through.  Napamahal na rin yung team kay Brody kaya ganoon na lang ang galit niya sa ginawa ni Javadi.  Buth Javadi has to keep up with appearances din -- hay!!!!!!

OMG!  Just when I thought Brody turned his back on the mission and Saul's plan would go kaput, saka naman niya gagawin yun!  Kung ano yung mga twists sa story -- ganoon din ang nangyayari sa bituka ko -- GALING!!!!!

^ Yup si Jared Ward nga iyon. Nagulat din ako sa ginawa na yan ni Javadi but I think that was expected of him and he had to keep appearances. Sayang nga lang si Yousef, hay!

This season is so-so for me. Hindi ko nagustuhan ang takbo ng story di tulad nung last 2 seasons. Dati I look forward to watching this series pero ngayon ilang days pa bago ko siya panuorin at yun eh kung wala na ko mapanuod na iba haha

SPOILER AHEAD:

The season finale felt like the series' finale.  I am expecting it but I got used to the idea that Nicholas Brody is the heart and at the core of Homeland.  I will surely miss his presence in the show.

I thought he will have the redemption they are talking about.  His name wasn't cleared because that would jeopardize Javadi.  He died as public enemy number one in two countries.
