I got the Purbasari, ang strong ng amoy... how I wish watsons brings back the old variant of asian secrets lulur, the green one.

I tried the Purbasari strong yung scent nga niya, OOS kasi yung asian secrets lulur sa Watsons.
Yung Purbasari, feeling ko mas madami yung grains niya for scrubing. Pero strong talaga scent.

sana ibalik nila yung original with Jasmine scent. ang whitening ay yung purple. the blue one is for healthy skin.

by mid october daw may lalabas na green variant according to Watsons.. buti nga kayo sis may ibang variant ng ASL na na avail, ako yung Purbasari nabili ko.. hindi ko naman magamit, ayoko talaga yung scent nya

according sa watsons thread, lulur daw is a whitening ingredient kaya parehas lang sila

Buti pala yung blue ang nabili ko. Pag nilabas yung original variant, bibili na lang ako ulit. I have 6 tubs of the blue one. Hahaha!

lulur is actually a javanese bridal ritual. It starts off with a massage then a paste (consisting of rice flour, turmeric, sandalwood, jasmin, and other scented woods) will be applied. once it has dried, it is carefully rubbed off (removes dead skin cells/exfoliation & polishes your skin). a yoghurt mask is then applied which restores the balance (natural pH) & moisturizes your skin as well. the ends with a warm bath filled with scented flowers.

^^yeah, was able to google it a while ago..may tumeric nga yung iba thus nagiging yellow. i guess yung mga naglalabasan ng lulur ngayon has whitening na din (same with Purbasari). Ang maganda siguro sa ASL is tanggap ng ilong natin yung scent niya unlike yata sa Purbasari, matapang na sa atin
