hello mga sis!

Ako din VT kaya lang under Dra. Avila ako... medyo conservative hubby ayaw talaga ng lalake na doctor, kung sa akin lang ok lang basta magaling at marunong magpaanak, at higit sa lahat makakamura..hehe Sobra ok sa VT kasi mababait yung staff tsaka malinis talaga.

Though hindi ako naCS in VT, sa VT ang pedia ng babies namin dito sa bahay... Si dra jennifer villon pedia namin... Gusto ko facilities ng VT, napakalinis nila and very accomodating ang staff... And true, hindi super mahal ang consultation fees nila...
Kung hindi lang namin need ng NICU, may first choice was VT talaga mas mura kase... Pero yung OB ko kase preferrred niya na may NICU just incase na kailanganin namin kaya sa St. anthony Medical Center ako naCS. We paid 80k less philhealth na 19k... 4 days stay private room and 4 days nursery use. Ok din ang facilities... Malinis... Alagang alaga ako at nagiisa baby ko sa nursery...

Im currently 6 months in my pregnancy, ask ko [textspeak!] kung ok [textspeak!] ba na at this stage eh magpalit pa ako ng OB ko, ndi kc ako natuwa sa current OB ko eh, so im looking for a new 1, I was recommended to Dr. Juvy Santiago of St. Vincent Hospital. Does anyone have any comment or feedback about her?! Maalaga ba [textspeak!], at kung meron xang partner pedia, parang feel ko kc kay Dr. Chanyungco based sa mga comments ng other mommies.

PS: I love the feedbacks about VT, I'm thinking of visiting and considering VT for the hospital kung san ako manganak instead na sa St. Vincent.

I would recommend St. Vincent Hospital in Concepcion Marikina. The facilities are good. The nurses are also generally nice & very attentive to your needs. Maternity fees are also reasonable (around 20K for NSD, 50K+ for CS). Look for Dra. Judith Malong. She's good & very caring to her patients.

not sure if there's a new rate pero expect around 30k normal and 60k for CS in VT.
female OB is Dra Gaspar - accredited in VT and Medical City (SM Markina)
newbie-thirty too, gave birth when I was 31 yo, and my baby is healthy naman, already 1 year and 3 months old na 

kanya-kanyang experience but general advice, keep yourself healthy by eating good food, drinking water (no soda, no juice) and taking your supplements. make sure to exercise by walking also, if not a high risk pregnancy. i had an easy time giving birth maybe because i walked the entire day, even with minor contractions na on the day i gave birth. by the time the baby's ready i just went into labor for less than an hour haha.

kagagaling ko lang kahapon sa VT maternty hospital at ok pala dun first time patient ako at ang ob ko si dr.tansinsin at buti naman walang issue sa asawa ko at pumayag siya kasi kuripot kaya 200 lang check-up kaysa sa una ko na 500 ang check-up then satisfied ako dahil TVS ang ginawa sakin dahil nalaman ko mahina tibok ni baby kaya niresita sakin ang duphaston then vitamin at ang bedrest totally..balik ulit ako sa april 4 para 7 weeks kung sakaling malakas na ulit heartbeat ni baby ko sana naman maging ok na kami nun.

after ng check up ko sa mvmc, nag walk in ako sa vt to inquire their nsd or cs package.
Tapos sinamahan pa kame ng nurse dun irounds yung mga rooms. yung small private nila maluwag for me.. maganda, malinis at maayos.. about sa packages, binigyan ako ng hospital rate lang di ko na ishashare kase need daw talaga makausap yung dr dun sila ang magbibigay ng package.

tinanung ako kung sinu OB ko sa mvmc, (OB Rose Ivy Villegas) sabe sakin nagpapaanak yung OB ko din daw dun sa VT.
So, baka di rin daw ako tanggapin kase medical ethics baka malaman ng OB ko na dun ako nanganak.
Napaisip tuloy ako bakit mas iniinsist ng OB ko sa mvmc ako manganak, though may nabanggit siyang nagpapaanak siya dati sa may Marquinton daw..hehe

So, by next check up ko, gagawa ako kuwento sa kanya. at iask kung magkanu package pag sa VT ako manganganank.. hehe

hi mga sis..

i'll be a first time mom...nagpalit ako ng OB on my 10th week (after being with my previous OB for ten years) kasi hirap akong habulin yung schedule niya sa Delos Santos.  I leave BGC at 2pm para habulin yung 2-4pm niyang schedule sa Delos Santos.  She agreed din na mas convenient kung sa mas malapit akong hospital manganganak kasi taga-San Mateo pa ako. 

I asked around and ang naging next OB ko si Mom ng grade school/ high school friend ko.  I've been with her for the last ten weeks of my pregnancy.  Kaso lang, I've asked for testimonies sa mga kakilala kong nanganak ang wife sa St. Vincent.  Tipong mga 28k less Philhealth pa - ganun lang ang gastos nila.  Sa St. Vincent si new OB ko.  Tapos biglang 40k daw for NSD, double that for CS   Yun daw 40k eh tipid na tipid na.  So naisip ko, it's her PF na nagpamahal talaga.  She's a well known OB kasi. 

If nabasa ninyo ibang posts ko, I've been married for one and a half year pero hindi pa planado si baby because we had our house renovated.  So nagkasabay-sabay ang gastos.  Depress-depressan ang first trimester ko lalo na nung nakikita ko yung presyo ng duphaston hehe!).  Yun palang 40k na NSD is hindi pa epidural and wala raw may fetal monitor sa Marikina, except perhaps Marikina Valley.  Is 40k a justifiable price given na sa St. Vincent yung package na yun? Tipid na tipid pa raw yun.

Would it be advisable to change OB again?  Or tama lang ba yung price na 40k for NSD?  Kasi inisip ko, what if last minute, magpublic hospital na lang ako para walang gastos?  Some moms even resort to giving birth sa lying in diba? 

I understand that we have to prepare 80k for CS and we only have four months left to produce that.  Siyempre, dapat CS ang iprepare na money para sure diba? I'm on my 20th week now.

Hello, ang ob ko din is si dra ivy villegas hehe 1st time ko sa kanya dun na kasi ako unang nagpa check kaya sabi ko sya na din magpaanak sakin, nag qoute din sya ng mga 40k for normal sa marikina valley pero nagpapaanak din sya sa vt pero syempre pag hospital daw kasi mas kumpleto yung facilities sabi nya, kaya mas prefer nya sa marikina valley, pero di ko pa din alam kung saan maganda hehe, gusto sana namin try sa medical city kung affliated sya dun kaso bka mas mahal sa tingin ko ok naman si dra, meron po ba ditong ob sya ano experience nyo sa kanya? thanks po!

sis, you can try VT Hosp pero lalaki ang OB nila but you can choose DR FLOR NUCUM she is at VT Hospital  every Saturday  8-10am or you can call her up for an appointment. ang alam ko basta she is free ay pwede ka nya i meet sa VT Hosp. she also has a lying-in MY CHOICE CLINIC at Santolan, Pasig, at 8,500p NSD package na painless at OB pa. she is also affliated with Salve Regina, VT Hosp, Antipolo City Med Hosp and St Anthony. planning to switch OB, under Dra. Eustaquio. Clinic nia sa st vincent. Relative kasi ni hubby so para makatipid don na kami. I've heard okay naman daw facilities sa St. VIncent. Pero yung ultrasound ko inadvise nia na sa iba kami magpaultrasound, mas reliable daw. hehe
