ako din paunti unti nag start ng mag eat healthy. si hubby, talagang meat eater sya. sinubukan ko mag steam ng cream dory with ginger and leeks and carrots then unting salt and sesame oil lang. ayun nagustuhan to think hindi masyad nakain ng fish yun. next time try ko lutuin sa oven salmon with lemon and olive oil. its a start, kaya sana mas makakatulong kung may mga recipes pa.

When I bake, I always cut the sugar sa recipe in half. Wala rin naman halos difference sa lasa at nasanay na ako sa hindi masyadong matatamis kasi diabetic mom ko. I also use canola oil nalang instead of butter. I make up for the flavor by adding spices.

Wag mag-oovercook ng vegetables kasi kahit vegetables yan, may sugar yan. When overcooked, vegetables release more sugar (thus the term caramelize). It may lead to diabetis.
Atsaka sino ba naman gusto ng overcoked veggies di ba.

I feel blessed sa story ni sis fides... inspiring... yes... let's start the new year right... be health conscious.  I also love cream and butter... hoping to minimize fried food.
