PERSON OF INTEREST stars Jim Caviezel, Emmy Award winner Michael Emerson and Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson in a crime thriller about a presumed dead former-CIA agent, Reese, who teams up with a mysterious billionaire, Finch, to prevent violent crimes by using their own brand of vigilante justice. Reese's special training in covert operations appeals to Finch, a software genius who invented a program that uses pattern recognition to identify people about to be involved in violent crimes. I saw the pilot episode today. It reminded me of Alias talaga. From the scruffy look ni Reese to Sydney's red hair; yung betrayal ng CIA kay Reese na ganun din kay Sydney. There are some similarities talaga. Anyway, the pilot was ok naman. I want to know about Mr. Finch's involvement though. Siya pala yung kontrabida sa Lost hehe And I'm glad Taraji P. Henson was part of the cast. Galing ng casting!

I am currently watching this, so far I like it! Its good to see Michael Emerson (Mr. Finch) here. Yung character niya dito reminds me of his character in Lost as Ben, the person who have lots of info that no other person have any idea where from. haha

I think this show is produced by J.J. Abrams, the producer of Lost hopefully this wont become another Lost kind of series where somewhere in the season I myself got Lost too lol

^I read a review na ganun din nga acting ni Mr. Finch sa lost kaya perfect daw kasi di mo nga talaga alam anong nasa isip niya or motive niya.

May ibang scenes lang na parang huh? Like yung nasa cab si Reese tapos humugot siya ng baril, aba, si manong taxi driver eh walang paki haha

this reminds me so much of Lost talaga. Aside from Mr. Finch the weirdness of the storyline parang Lost. Though so far I am really liking this show. btw thanks sis for telling me about it!

^No problem sis May isa pang series na di ko pa napapanuod ang pilot (A Gifted Man) at tapos na ko sa mga new shows this Fall haha

Ako naman parang Alias ang naalala ko. Na-compare pa talaga siya sa NYTimes ata yung article na yun. Sana daw ma-established kagad yung flow ng story kasi ganun daw nagawa ng Alias kaya nag-tagal. At sana bigyan ng konting charisma si Reese.

^hindi ko kasi napanood yung Alias kaya hindi ko macompare. Yung first few minutes akala ko hot si Reese but after he shaved I was like siya na yun? haha at magaling siyang magtarget ng paa ah! haha

action din ba yung A Gifted Man? let me know din kung ok siya ah! hehe

^Drama yung A Gifted Man. Si Patrick Wilson naman dun. Ang daming movie stars naglipatan sa TV.

Ay oo! Tsaka ang awkward yung bed scene haha!!! Sorry pero kasi na-associate ko na si Jim Caviezel as Jesus Christ (Passion of the Christ) kaya ang hirap pag iba na role niya.

^at some scenes he reminds me of Eric Bana in Time Traveler's Wife yung matanda version niya pero most of the time and awkward haha

I love this show. Ako naman, even sa ads before, the premise reminded me of Minority Report, minus the weird oracles (?) and a too far off into the future context. Mas realistic this show.

It's actually created by Jonathan Nolan, brother of Christopher Nolan, hence this show's calibre is really top-notch. Nolan brothers have worked together in some of the most acclaimed films/most-buzzed about films we've heard of in recent years.

JJ Abrams' production company is producing this, but this is really Nolan's brain child.

So far, of the dramas starting out this season, I think this one's tops. It does remind me of Minority Report. Kamot siguro ulo ni Spielberg. Hehee. Puro aliens/dinosaurs lang dinadala niyang concept sa TV eh. Naunahan siya dito, when Minority Report was his idea.

Kapapanood ko lang din nung pilot episode. Parang pang-movie ang dating ng mga scenes parang hindi tv series yun pinapanood ko. Haha..

Sana lang talaga wag ito maging katulad ng Lost. Sabi nga ni sis gigles eh baka ma-lost din ako. Di ko na nga tinapos yun eh.

Ang galing ni emerson, though sa acting niya parang lost pinapanood ko. Goose bumps pa ako nung tinawag niya si reese sa first name niya "john". Parang si john locke lang sa lost. Haha..
