Schengen Visa Application (2) Check 1st page for the Requirements

i thought if i apply in the italian embassy, there's no interview...
i think a messenger will come pick up my papers, then they will return my passport after...
am i wrong?
when i called, they said it will take about 10 business days or less.
hope this is true.

here are the requirements needed:
1. application form (downloaded from the website)- ok!
2. i.d picture- tomorrow.
3. passport, plus photocopy of 1st and last page, plus photocopies of all visas- tomorrow
4. coe and photocopy with approved leaves and dates of absences. -ok!
5. bank certificates and statement of accounts- some ok, some tomorrow.
6. photocopy of credit cards- tomorrow.
7. itr- ok!
8. flight booking- ok!
9. hotel vouchers- ok, except for paris.
10. travel insurance- ok!
11. manager's check- tomorrow.

additional documents i am submitting:
1. train tickets- ok!
2. flights- ok!
3. condo under my name- tomorrow.
4. car under my name- ok!
5. corporations with my name- ok!
6. investments- ok!
7. marriage contract- ok!
8. husband's bank cert- tomorrow.
9. husband's itr- ok!
10. husband's passport copies- ok!
11. hunsband's ids, acr card- ok!
12. husband's coe- friday
13. husband's cars reg- ok!

what else can i add? any other pointers, suggestions?

am so nervous but excited!

btw, if you know naman what to do, sayang din yung 4k. haha, but of course, worth it too if you remove all the stress from yourself.

^ hmmm sis no need for car/land titles.

Also are you supposed to book train tickets already? Confirmed Airfare booking should be enough

Just got back from Spain, and I am already planning my trip back!

I would like to go to France and Spain in March, and Spain and Italy in June. I would like to secure a multiple entry visa para I don't need to go back many times. Is it possible to get a multiple entry visa? What are the conditions? I'll probably apply at the Spanish embassy since they already gave me a single entry.

you need to apply in the country that you'll be staying the most number of days at.

so am including train tickets and cars/land titles.

Sisses, is there such a thing as a multiple entry Schengen visa? Is it the long-term visa? Because I am planning to go in March then in June again.

^Yes, there is a multiple entry Schengen Visa. Item # 24 on the Schengen Visa Application Form (short stay if you're not staying more than 90 days) is for 'Number of entries requested' - just check the box for multiple entry.

^^yes there is. My second schengen visa was valid for 3 years and my current one is valid for 2 years. Both issued by the French embassy.

^ thanks a lot! found it, #24. Any ideas if they'll be more rigid with this? I'll be applying at the Spanish embassy again even if I am planning to stay in France longer in March pero in June, I'll stay longer in Spain again.

^Not sure if they're strict about it but in my experience I would always select single entry but end up with a multiple entry visa from the French Embassy

i usually get multiple entry but the hitch there is that the validity is short - maximum a month na except for 1 which i got from the french embassy na valid for 2 years.

chuzzle, i know pag spanish embassy mas strict sila, if you present a trip na a few weeks lang, ganun lang din yung duration. try to request if you can but i know they are not known to give out mga 6 months to a couple of years.

d_zialcita, if you have tickets na, you can present them para mas sure yung itinerary mo but this isn't a requirement naman. for statements, i only present a bank cert and no statements from a few months back. ok na yun i did present that i have a condo unit under my name (fully paid) but we didn't present na the car

^really? What if I'll apply for a multiple entry visa at the French embassy since it's my first destination in March. But in June, I'll stay in Spain longer, is that fine?

^ you can apply sa french embassy if you can show them that based on your itinerary, hotel bookings, etc that you will stay in France the longest time. if they give you a multiple entry na valid for a long time, you can enter any schengen country.

^thank you very much. Can they deny you a multiple entry visa and just give you a single entry one or just deny you all types of visas if you don't qualify for what you've applied for which is the multiple entry visa

^ i'm not exactly sure but i know they do that eh, they can "down grade" you as they see fit.

^^You can always request the consul for a multiple entry visa to cover your next trip to Spain in June. No harm in asking naman. And it won't affect your application for your first trip. Just be ready to present supporting documents for your next trip in case they ask for it.

^ ahh, Thank you so much again. Right now, I am thinking of the right 'tactic' to go about it. Maybe, I'll just end up applying for a multiply entry visa in March at the Spanish embassy and explain that I'll go back in June. If they don't give me a multiple entry, then I'll just apply again in June. =)

hi all,

just wanted to share, the pick up date of my documents is suppose to be on february 11, but i emailed them yesterday to ask if it was possible that i get a personal appearance/ interview so that i can answer any questions easily and immediately.

they replied immediately, asking for my contact numbers.

an agent called me today, she said my request is not allowed, but what she can do for me is to move the pick up date to a much earlier date, so that 1. i can still have enough time. 2. i can reapply just in case i don't get a visa.
the date she suggested was.. tomorrow!!
haha, but i still need my husband's certificate of employment, so i said january 28!

just sharing. in case anyone is nervous like me.

sis chuzzle, all my schengen visas were multiple entries, even my first one the french embassy gave us 3 months, spanish embassy 45 days i think. i'm not sure what's the best way you can apply though since the embassies might see your 2 trips as completely separate, thus needing separate visas. but you can always try though

our next travel is to eastern europe -- probably poland, iceland, germany/austria. what embassy is best to apply for a visa? although i'm tempted to go to paris so that i can apply via the french embassy

^ foxymom, i went to eastern europe last year though we applied through the czech embassy, no lines and it wasn't a consul who interviewed us. it was easy breezy
