Small Group / Fellowship Group / Cell Group
« on: September 16, 2011, 09:02:04 am »
I joined a small group 2 years ago and I absolutely love it. We started with 5 members. Ngayon, about 18 na kami, all females. We meet every Sunday for lunch/dinner/coffee to study the Word, share what happened sa week namin, and kwentuhan lang. Then, we usually attend worship service together.

I text them pag kailangan ko ng prayers, encouragement, and advice because I know that they really care about me. Minsan, we go out of town or sleepover. I appreciate them and I value our friendship.

Are you a member of a small group in your church? :)

yes... sa amin naman (Light of Jesus) we call it Caring Group. Ours are all young couples. Mga five couples kami (ages 20s and 30s). We meet every Sunday after attending The Feast. Basically, parang ganun din yung format sa small group nyo.  :)

Pag may sakit, or may bagong panganak, we visit each other sa house.

^ Ang saya no? Iba yung bonding. It's very important talaga that we do this Christian walk with other believers. :)

Dati nung hindi pa ko Christian, pag may problem ako, ang advice lagi sakin ng friends ko "Inom na lang tayo" or "Party na lang tayo". Pero now, pag may problem ako, yung mga ka-small group ko share with me kung ano sabi ni God sa bible about my problem tapos they pray for and with me. Nakakaencourage talaga. :)

Yes sis... mahirap talagang mag-isa on your christian walk... sometimes we get spiritually weak din, kaya we need to give and receive support from other believers gaya nga ng sabi mo :)

yes! my hubby and i attend a d-group in CCF every Friday naman. All couples po dun. :) And ang laki ng naitulong samin nito spiritually and how we see life now. Nakakatuwa at nakaka inspire. Looking forward kami every week na mag attend kase nakaka encourage sya.

True! Iba ang dating if you have a group that share the walk with Christ. Grabe ang blessings! :)

^ hi sis! I read from the other topic that you go to church at CCF-St. Francis. Hubby and I attend worship services at CCF-Eastwood naman and we've been searching for a D-group for couples which meet every Friday night or during weekends. Sa Eastwood kasi young Dgroup for couples meet every Monday night. Pwede kaya kami join sa group nyo? :)

My husband and I are members of Couples for Christ-Foundation for Family and Life. We have, in our chapter, more than 30 young and senior couples who inspire us to keep the family together, strengthen our marriage while growing in faith and spiritual relationship with Christ our Savior.

This is great. ito ang need natin nowadays sa stressful na mundong ito. ;)

For now, i attend meetings of Prayer Group every friday sa Word for the World. Pero di ako member ng church na iyon but my friend is. Masaya lang and uplifting kahit ano pa bigat ng problem mo.

Sabi nga di ba...let's lift each others burden.

I handle one. Totoo naman kasi na when it comes to our faith, it's better that iron sharpens iron. There are low times, there are highs. But what's important is that everyone in the group is has a part in strengthening one another pagdating sa usapang pananampalataya. :)
Keep optimism at hand. You lose twice by thinking negatively.

i am part of a small group in our church (DGroup or Discipleship Group ang tawag namin) :-) i enjoy sharing with the group, para kaming magkakapatid tapos mga parents namin magkakaibigan rin kasi iisang church lang kami...
Gumawa pa kami ng Single ladies group wherein we read a book (right now, Emotional Purity kami) then share what we have learned. :-)

Ako naman SFC (Singles for Christ) and dun ko rin na meet si hubby  ;)

Sobrang enjoy and talagang naka tulong ang group sa akin. Nandyan sila para makinig, mag advice kapag sobrang down ka and sobrang happy din sila pag happy ka.
