I don't know where should I post this but anyways here you go.

Ber months na ulet mga sisters!!!

Are you ready to plan or  to shop for your christmas gifts and give aways? =)

What are you considering to give ba for this occasion for Family, friends and relatives?


I'll go first ha.

For friends and relatives:  balak ko give is my very own room sprays (php 65.00) and  body lotions (travel size Php 175.00) .

The room spray pwede use rooms or sa  car parang air freshener lang ang dating.
For kids  gift cert from powerbooks di na kasi sila maliliit pa na kailangan pa ng toys eh. =)


Sa family ko yan kalangan ko pag isispang maige. =)

For Kikay Friends, I usually build a customized kikay kit for them -- pouch, blush, lipstick, lipgloss or other whatnots.

For Business Contacts : We give them customized planners for the year ahead plus whatever na alam namin na kailangan nila.

For Suppliers : We usually give them food rin, usually ham, edam cheese, fruitcake and cash din, para ganahan mag-produce ng isusupply samin lagi hehe!

For my Parents : ito medyo magastos, my dad loves gadgets and my mom loves perfumes, clothes and makeup, usually what I see na on sale and alam kong magugustuhan nila, kinukuha ko agad, kaya minsan napaparami din, pero okay lang since masaya naman sila.

For BF : Im thinking of giving him playbook since he's curious about it, pero baka mauna pa sa pasko bumili yun so im still undecided kung anong ibibigay ko sa kanya hehe!

For our Employees : We always give out clothes for their kids, tapos groceries plus some cash para may panggastos naman silang extra for the holiday season.

For our Neighbors : We usually give them Food Trays during Christmas Eve, parang mas okay to kesa bigyan sila ng gamit or whatev, kasi at least buong pamilya nila maeenjoy yung food. hehe!

Sa Kids : Since mahirap na matancha what kids like nowadays, usually nagaask nalang ako ahead what they like and yun nalang binibili ko, minsan kasi pag cash ang ibinigay binabawi ng parents tapos kokontra sa kung ano gusto bilhin ng bata, nyahaha!

@greenpease05 do you create your own room spray? or do you buy them? i was actually considering that too, kung may makuha akong sale sa BBW before christmas siguro

@babyjapnurse01 re: food tray, that's a good idea, since di kasi ako palalabas so i don't know my neighbors but still i want to give something to them.. what popped in my mind was yung food na marami sa  silver tray halo halo like ham, etc parang gourmet ang dating, is that what you were giving them? or you just give them some of your handa for christmas?

ako naman, i'm planning to go to gingersnaps factory sa may pasig since malapit lang naman sa amin, our friends kasi dun din bumibili ng mga pangregalo sa inaanak at super mura, i dont have inaanaks naman pero i have lots of younger pinsan so i think ok na sila dun..

^ we give them kunwari a whole tray of baked mac, spaghetti, or lasagna, or salad or cooked ulam. ganun sis, hindi assorted yung laman para everyone can enjoy the food.

 Hunnybunny, yes, I create the room sprays myself. Sa panahon kasi ngayon gusto ng tao kakaiba ibigay mo o di kaya personalized talaga di ba? So go na ko sa room/linen sprays.


JapJap, yeah tama ka dyan ang hirap mag isip ng ibibigay sa mahal natin sa buhay di ba. Kay C ang malaki kong problem because he already has everything he wanted. Pag gust nya isang bagay ayun binibili kaya heto tuliro ako as early as now ano ibibigay ko sa kanya. dapat maunahan ko na siya. =)


for my family yes I give cosmetics and  perfumes din. Bilang parehong kikay ang mommy at sister ko.

for my brothers, malamang perfumes na rin siguro di ko alam trip ng mga yun eh. ha ha ha!
 
Neighbors last year we gave them my scented soya candles baka this year room sprays na rin sila. Or food trays . =)

Speaking of room sprays as car fresheners, our cars smell like Amber Lights Laguna Day At The Spa -- this won my dad's taste for scents, it replaced california scents newport new car, according to him, it smells clean and amoy bago yung sasakyan. ^_^

Smile  :   Naku ako rin problemado what to give kay mudra and padirr, ang hirap mag-isip especially pag sila mismo nagtatanong sakin kung ano gusto nung isa, haha! Nauubos lalo idea ko hahaha! Lalo na sa mom ko, November kasi birthday nya, so ang hirap mag-isip sa span ng 1 month kung ano nanaman ibibigay sa kanya for Christmas.

Sa guards at sa mga dapat bigyan pero d ka-close, hamon na lang kasi ayaw ko mag-isip this year tipong iba2x pa. May nag suggest sa akin na GT friend na xmas ham na lang matuwa pa tyak makakatanggap.

Sa mister ko wala pa ako naiisip.

Sa anak ko nagpupuno na ako ng box ngayon aside sa mga paparating na box nun labor day sale.

Sa BIL ko nakapamili na ako sa adidas sale sa blue leaf last week.

Sa sis ko cash.

Just thinking of it  tires me out.

For business associates, doctors and most people it would be in bad taste to give cash to:  a box of fruits given in the 1st week of Dec.
Basic is a box of big pears.  Accdg to.. Well, "category" . A box of oranges &/or apples, grapes, dragon fruit is/are added on.

All employees (business and house staff) like cash with a small gift (ths  is separate from the  13th mo. & bonuses, of course)  -- a Bench shirt for the men, a Marks & Spencer lotion-shower gel set for the women .. Plus cash. 

Village guards, maintenance, And others who render service - oh they  like cash. 

Govt people  like cash, more of it. Haayyyy boohayy.

Hubby - I will revamp his wardrobe this year.
Kids - only 1 gift as usual from us. What is reasonable on their wish list

May family tradition kami -- we meet in Oct/Nov , complete attendance -- the kids spill out their Wish List for all the titas  titos, parents, & lola (no more lolo ). to heed. They each do a number for the adults' entertainment, and "market" their wish list  items, to convince the adult  gift givers. Lol
We have a lot of raucous fun, and get clear ideas.  And weird/laughable reasons for wish list  items. The kids heckle  each other, and had this on the whiteboard once:   Being cute is   not enough.  Being pangit gets you more, coz there's awa.   


So there, kaya my head aches!  Lol

3 SIL & 2 BIL - aquazorb body bath towels (@ 300 each)
niece & nephew (7 sila) side ni hubby - cash @ 300 each

--- medyo biased ako sa gift sa side ni hubby  ---

sa mga inaanaks - yan ang medyo madugo din, kase ang dami na nila. naisip ko baka cash na lang, 300 each, or if my time pa mag shopping, baka yung mga disney shoes na lang.

sa employees and helpers namin - aside from the 13th month pay, we usually give them gift baskets of toiletries and other essentials kase puro guys yun na wala pa naman mga asawa.

suppliers and neighbors - usually sapin sapin from dolors and chicharon from bulacan

for my girl friends and BFF's - organic beauty products from echostore worth 400

sa work ni hubby - vintage t-shirts from structure in greenhills (comfortable fabric)

for hubby - oakley shades

**** nagdudugo na ang bulsa namin ni hubby, pero once a year lang naman.

suppliers: personalized reusable bag (parang sm greenbag) with fruits/choco/ham inside.
employees/staff/guard: cash/ groceries (rice,canned goods/toiletries,etc)

wala pa sa family. hay ang hirap.

when my siblings and i were younger, we used to buy 1 gift per cousin. ngayon nag order na lang kami ng food like a bag of emsaimada, brownies etc for each family. yung mga pamangkin or bata na lang yung nireregaluhan namin. 
yung helpers usually clothes na lang para may bago silang damit. 
yung close friends ko lang nireregaluhan ko, kung ano yung tingin kong fair ibigay sa kanila yun ang binibigay ko.
sa mga kasama ko sa office yung token lang na di mahal kasi madami sila.

^ ako din sis sa mga officemates token lang, magscout ako sa divi. pero sa mga close officemates ko, yun ang personalized isa-isa.

kids/inaanak: it's always practical to give cash, kaso parang mas enjoy sila pag gift talaga like toys
babies: i always give them clothes. ang sarap mamili ng cute little clothes
mom: planning to buy her jewelry/make up
hubby: basketball shoes or oakley shades

officemates- kahit anong murang items na hindi consumable at pare pareho sila para patas lahat
inaanak- clothes, I don't give cash and toys. Ang toys, pwede lang kapag educational..
adult relatives- groceries (rice, canned goods)
kids relatives- for girls, headbands, for boys siguro mga face towel
family-wala pa ako idea sa ngayon

Update lang

When I went pala sa Davao last August madami akong nabiling arafat scarves. Nakalimutan ko ipamigay sa aking mga Camera Club friends. Yun na lang regalo ko sa kanila on Christmas!

So 39 people done na on my chirstmas list. weeee!
