We’ll be in Taipei on Apr.8-11 for the yearly company tour. Ano na kayang temp. by that time? Mura ba ang bilihin? We hope to have some free time in between the tour.

^ Good luck sayo... As far as I know, it's SO HOT during that time. In my opinion, summer time in Taipei is much hotter than the Philippines so you know what I mean... Wear very light clothing. Taiwan products are slightly more expensive than the Philippines but it's cheaper compared to other Asian countries like Korea, Japan, and etc.

Had so much fun in Taiwan! Sobrang enjoy; although wala kaming masyadong napuntahan vs our orig itinerary kasi sobrang gahol sa time.

Flight is March 23 1145am, so we arrived in Taiwan 1 na. We stayed at the airport till 6 am (para makatipid haha first time to travel without the parentals kasi). Okay naman kasi may mga couches sila to sleep on. Marami rin kaming kasamang dun na natulog.

March 24:

Taipei Main Station to store our baggage (50NTD for 3 hours)
Chiang Kai Shek Memorial - Lucky rin na the 1600 Panda World Tour was there. Super cute lang. Sakto rin na nakita namin yung changing of the guards.
Taipei 101 (we didn't go up na, mahal hahaha - although tip: you can go up the 35th floor for free. search "secret starbucks taipei 101" on google)
Din Tai Fung - Super sarap their Xiao Long Bao! Mahaba pila though, I suggest eating nalang at the SOGO branch
Back to Taipei Main station to get our baggage
Went to Zhongxiao Fuxing to go to our hostel (We stayed at A+ Design Hostel booked through Airbnb WORTH IT. Super nice!!! Way better than some hotels that we saw there)
Shilin Night Market - Couldn't stomach the stinky tofu Sayang lang. We enjoyed Hotstar, the fresh fruits, candied strawberries and the penis waffle (and penis shaped popsicle!) Winner yun

March 25

Ximending - Halos whole day kami nandito. We just shopped. Nice chill vibe. Pero mas mahal siya if you compare it to Wu Fen Pu. We ate din sa Modern Toilet. Okay naman, dapat lang mag-order ng worth 90NTD each pero okay siya. Kakaaliw.
Went to Nanjing E Road for Ikea. Along the way we saw a shop selling Keds & Sperry for cheap! Some Keds 450NTD lang! Broken sizes kaya mahal, some na may onting sizes available ay 790/990NTD lang. The Sperry puro size 6 1000NTD lang.
Rest for a bit sa hostel
Ate at Hello Kitty Cafe - which I regreeeet. Grabe hindi masarap yung food, mahal pa minimum order per person 300NTD!

March 26:

Wu Fen Pu! Grabe halos whole day din kami dito. Mura ng clothes!! May nabili kami 100NTD for TWO faux leather shorts. 250NTD for a coat.. Grabe. Sakit lang sa paa. We skipped Raohe market na
Checked out of the hostel
Went around to buy souvenirs
Ikot ikot sa SOGO (maliit lang pala siya)
Tapos we went to the airport na

Weather was nice din! May araw pero malamig yung hangin. Though not as cold as HK. Will be back for sure!! Didn't realize na mageenjoy kami sa Taipei.

April is spring here. Temperature will be a lovely 22-24 degrees, can drop to 18deg at night. Bring a light sweater, or cardigan.
June-August will be summer months, hot and humid and temp can reach up to 38 degrees.

Pwede bang ulitin ang pagfill-up online ng Visa application? Di kasi all CAPS ang pagkatype ko sa application form, baka mahigpit sa TECO at paulitin din ako pagdating ko dun.

^i think all CAPS nga dapat siya.3x ako nagpalit, so pwede baguhin but you have to start all over again. Mine was okay already but when i realized na hindi all caps i made a new one and changed it to that

^thanks sis!  my husband told me na dapat all CAPS daw. Late ko na nabasa yung instruction- complete all sections in BLOCK letters when i have my printout. I'll submit na rin kasi my application this coming Monday.

Another question: For my daughter's application form i'll be the one to sign it. Where will I sign sa Applicant's signature ba or sa Applicant's Agent?

Hi everyone, plan and dream ko po sana pumunta taiwan hopefully this year, ( nang dahil sa meteor garden hehe), concern lang po ako bout visa. Independent contractor po kasi ako, not sure kung may COE ang Odesk. Pwede kaya certificate of earnings and bank certificate pass ko pra sa visa? Hndi pa ako nakapagbook ng ticket kasi concern ko talaga  is visa. Sana may makahelp sakin bout this concern. Thanks a lot :-)

Here's what i submitted:

Visa Application form
Marriage certificate
Birth certificate
Bank Statement (joint acct pa kami ni hubby)
Invitation letter fr hubby with his ID & ARC photocopy only. I was asked a copy of my husband's passport kaya lang wala akong dala that time ang sabi sa akin magdala daw ako kapag kukunin ko na yung visa pero di naman hiningi sa akin when i got our visas.

I also submitted  eticket and hotel booking pero binalik lang sa akin pati old passport ko tinignan lang hindi na sila humingi ng copy.

Partially related -- diba having an existing US, Schengen, AUS, UK and Japan visa allows travellers to enter Taiwan visa free? So once Filipinos are allowed to enter Japan w/o visa, will the existing Japan multiple entry visas be no longer a valid "visa exception requirement" for Taiwan travel?

about filing a visa, single entry nakalagay kasi yung place where to stay, pwede kaya hotel lang yung address? kasi wala naman ako kilala don. sorry ignorante lang first time to travel na kelangan ng visa kasi. hehe

another question pala mga sis, madali ba sila mag approve ng visa for single entry? Planning to go in June,  wala naman problem if this may pa lang ako mag apply no? For financial records, how much ba kelangan atleast?
