Iniisip ko kasi of I apply tom (Dec 17), they will release it Dec 20. So dapat magkaalis ako ng Manila by Jan 20? Eh alis namin 16, so tama lang diba? Hindi naman necessary na makabalik ako ulit sa Manila by Jan 20? Though pasok pa rin kasi 19 eh uuwi na kami. Haay dito ko napaparanoid :-/

3 months naman valid so pwede pa yan hanggang March 17. good luck

Got my visa na last friday ang tagal sa embassy ng releasing, grabe. bagal ng pagtawag sa numbers.

questions lang pala:
1. Maganda ba sa Taichung? Kaya ba sya ng balikan kasi we are staying in Taipei?
2. how's the weather pag January? anong kind of clothing recommended isuot?

1 - Yeah, kaya siya balikan ng isang araw but you have to go early. Don't know what's in Taichung though.
2 - January... I guess more or less nasa 10 degrees. I have lived there for a year so January is a good time to go. Avoid summer at all cost. Haha

^Hi sis! I visited Taichung last November. Mura sa night markets nila compared sa Shilin at Underground Mall sa Taipei. In Taichung, we went to to Feng Jia Night Market at sa Yizhong Street. Nakabili ako ng boots worth NT100-NT390 (ito na yung pinakamahal na binili kong boots dun! haha!).

Sa Taichung City hindi kami masyadong nakapag-gala. We hired a transport service to go to Xinshe, nandun ang mga tourist attractions. Sayang, by January wala na yung Xinshe Sea of Flower Festival. Ang ganda! All in bloom talaga! Okay sa Xinshe Castle at Moncoeur, photoshoot lang ang peg. Haha! Will go back this May and sana makapunta sa Sun Moon Lake!

mga sis - may nag try ba mag apply ng visa using the online option basta may existing  visa sa USA, Japan, New Zealand?  planning to go in May pa naman.

@portugalbear hi sis, kami, may US visa family ko. Mabilis lang daw sabi ng mom ko. Siya kasi nag asikaso. Online lang then after nun you can print the permit already.

^^Kaya yan, sis! Puwede din kayo mag-HSR para almost an hour lang ang byahe. Nung ako kasi, TRA, lampas 2 hours yung byahe.

hi sisses.. saan po ba merong mga travel agencies in Philippines that offer "customized" (based on our preference) package tours to taiwan. I'll be touring po kasi with my mother na 71 years old, if ako lang, I'll do DIY, public transport, but since, medyo pagurin na po siya, I have to join some tours with transportation included. Or if meron po kayong kakilalang driver na pwede i-hire, much better

ang ingay nga sa teco! ubos oras din ang application and claiming of passport, good thing  i brought a book  to read. mga 2 weeks din before i got my passport back because i was not in the metro for the holidays .i am  hoping for a cool weather next month too para di na din magbago ng planned wardrobe. hehe.

^^ same question, ano na temperature ngayon? Sabi kasi sa mga nabasa ko usually 10 degrees, kaso sa forecast sa internet nasa 13-15 degrees daw. Iniisip ko na kasi what clothes to bring. Sayang I got fleece jackets and yung Heattech clothes pa naman sa Uniqlo. Di ko ata magagamit sa 18degrees yun, ala-Baguio lang sa lamig e.

Ano ano ba must visit night markets in Taipei aside from Shida and Shilin? hirap gumawa ng IT eh next week na kami aalis.

magkano na fee ng visa? 3months ba talaga ang validity? kasi sa husband ko 1 month lang noon. natetempt ako sa promo ng cebu pac!

^ ako rin, just two weeks ago 3 months din. pero before I applied, may nabasa rin ako na iba eh 1 month validity lang.

i'll be going to taiwan with my bf on january 30-feb 2, dun kame magspend ng chinese new year. okay pa kaya ang weather nun as in malamig pa talaga? pinapabili kase ako ni bf ng fleece jacket sa uniqlo eh baka ndi naman ganun na kalamig sayang hehe

^ In my one year stay in Taiwan, coolest was 5-10 degrees. I guess it depends if you can tolerate the weather there.

Enjoy ako sa shopping dami ko nabii on sale sa Zara plus a pair of sneakers pa sa Otsinuka. Ok din yung mga artsy stuff sa ibang shops.

For pasalubong, get the taro cakes at the airport. Masarap! Parang lesser sweet version of hopia na flaky pastry yung outside.

Di ako enjoy sa streetfood. Puro deep fried pero kulang sa flavor yung hotpot na eat all you can na yung pinaka-ok namin na nakain. Stinky tofu and oyster omelette eh di masarap! Yung hotstar fried chicken ok lang, malaki sya. Yung mga mochi ayun masarap. Yung Ay Chung rice noodle, sakto lang pero lasang lasa yung intestines sa broth. If you wanna try the Taiwanese breakfast (yung Fu Hang Dou Jang ata), be ready for a crazy line! Super oily nung doughnuts nila. Yung soy milk lang nagustuhan ko saka yung parang bread na sweet yung filling.
