^ Hi sis ! Thanks for the info. If housewife, bring your hubby's requirements too. P2,100 fee for visa. If you have a US visa register online for the certificate and you don't need to get a visa anymore.

Okay naman sis sa Leofoo. Siyempre hindi mo siya maco-compare sa Disneyland.
May mini-zoo and malaki yung park. Maganda din is that hindi ganun kadami ang tao kaya nasakyan namin yung mga rides

We got na our visa! I was so worried na hindi kame maapprove lalo na yung cousin ko since she's a housewife and supporting doc lang nya is yung bank cert..mabilis lang pala..

enjoy taiwan sis Nag diy tour lang kami naka 10 tour kami in one day. And we enjoyed taiwan very much specially the people. Concern citizen sila sa iba kahit pa sa foreigner. And they are willing to help din. Mababait sila. Sana mga pinoy ganun din dito. Para everybody happy.

Tip when you ride mrt at tayuan. Tapos may matandang pumasok magsasalita yun ng mandarin na paupuin mo siya. Hahaha ganun din priority ang buntis, and matanda.

^Sorry sis, hindi ko alam kung magkano kasi nilibre lang kami. Nagpunta kami dun by private car kasi malayo siya parang E.K natin.
Yung kaibigan ng [textspeak!] ko na tiga-Taiwan ang nag arrange ng transportation namin.

Sulit naman siya kasi may mini-zoo, madami din rides, may extreme pa and konti lang tao kaya masasakyan mo lahat ng gusto mong sakyan.

Mga sis, ano ang weather sa Taiwan ng June? May nakita kasi ako 11k lang for 4 people roundtrip na. Pero hindi pa kami nakakapunta dito so medyo alangan kung anong magagawa, etc. Okay ba communication-wise sa kanila?  How about shopping? And sight-seeing? Streetfood?

What about the best area to stay? Nanjing, Taipei Main Station, Ximending?

I'm booked for Taiwan, Nov 21-27 pero dahil midnight schedule ang Cebu Pacific, essentially, I only have Nov 22-26. Winter na ba niyan dun?

Bale I will just spend 1 day in Taipei and the rest in Taichung na. Andun kasi ang boyfriend ko. Planning to go to Sun Moon Lake, Mon Coeur, Lavender Cottage, Xinshe Castle, Rainbow Village, Dong Hai University. Kung may time pa sana sa Hehuanshan at CingJing.

Andami pa palang magagandang puntahan outside Taipei. Nakaka-excite kahit malayo pa ang biyahe!

^^ Super init ng June! Wear light clothes and prepare to sweat. Kailangan mo umiwas sa araw. =)
Medyo mahina sila sa English. The rest, okay na especially street food.

I suggest you stay in Taipei Main Station area (for ease of transportation since yan yung heart ng MRT line nila) or Ximending (since nasa area na yan yung food and shopping).

jtansanco, what's a nice 4-star hotel near the heart of taipei? budget is 5k/night nett.

also, wanna try the wang's steakhouse. sang branch may pinaka-ok na ambiance? aside from Wang's and DTF, what are the other must-go-to restos? =)

^Sis, you might wanna check out Amba hotel, it's right smack in the middle of Ximending, plenty of shopping and restaurant options. The hotel I would describe as "Muji-esque", minimalist but has everything you need, and then some.
Must try resto? I suggest the Shin Yeh at the Taipei 101 building. Good food with a view. Of course, I would suggest going there only on a clear day. The interior is very nice and the prices are very reasonable. I'm sure there are better options in the city but for the ambiance and view, it's worth it.
