^yup, meron --- there's EEC, Manila Cargo, Goldstar, LBC... I've tried EEC and Goldstar na and ok naman. If within Metro Manila, you can get your box in 10 working days

We went for a 1 wk. trip in Taiwan last month, & super love the place and the people were sooo nice:) we went to Mt. Ali and the place was so breathtaking esp. for a nature lover like me That time super lamig din. I never thought na mountaneous pala most part of Taiwan

Hi mga sis. I need help. Nagpa-plan kami ng cousin and SIL ko to visit Taiwan. Wala naman problem with my cousin since taga-doon naman siya so ok kami sa mga pupuntahan.

About sa requirements...

1. Paano ang photocopy ng passport? As in lahat? I just had my passport renewed, so yung old passport ko yung i-photocopy ko?

2. Enough na ba ang passbook? It's all I have since I am still errr... not working haha I'm reviewing for the Bar so hindi na ko matatawag na student.

3. Advisable na ba na may reservation na ng hotel? Bibili na kasi kami mamaya or bukas nung plane ticket since naka-sale sa Cebu Pacific.

4. Ilang days ang processing ng visa? At malaki naman ang chances mabigyan considering complete naman yung requirements?

Plan namin sa 2nd week of April magpunta, ok naman ang weather dun? Mukhang malamig, ano ang pwedeng dalhin? Like light coat, scarf, etc...?

I've been to Taiwan last year

Yung requirements na pinasa ko sa TECO: Taiwan Visa Form (downloadable from TECO site), 2 pcs passport size picture, passport & photocopy of passport (1st page), bank certificate, ITR & Payslip, COE, round-trip e-ticket, printed e-mail from hotel reservation.

20k+ nga lang laman nung nagpa bank cert ako

oo pwede na kayo pa reserve, kasi pwede mo na din isama yan sa requirements mo

re: processing of visa
last year I applied Feb 23 then yung release nya Feb 28. Normally 3 days processing lang talaga, 1 day kapag expedite.

Malaki naman yung chance na ma approve yung visa as long na complete requirements, in my case nga 1st International Travel ko ang Taiwan.

^Awww... Naisip namin June naman kaso mainit siya haha April-June kasi yung promo ng Cebu Pac. Gusto sana namin malamig lamig yung weather para di hassle mag-ikot ikot. Nung nag-SG kasi kami, kamusta naman, ang lagkit ng pawis namin at diring diri yung pakiramdam namin haha

2. Naisip ko puntahan ng 1 day yung Jiufen and Yehliu. Aside from those two, meron pa ba pwede i-combine na mapuntahan in one day? haha
3. Ok na ba ang 1 week or kaya naman 5 days lang?

di ako nakapunta sa Taipei Zoo, pero pwede mo na isabay dyan yung Maokong Gondola kasi lam ko same way yan

kami yung Day 1 namin: Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial, Longshan Temple, Taipei Arena, Taipei 101, Taipei Underground Mall, Ximending

Medyo malayo ang Danshui/Fisherman Wharf, pwede isabay dito yung Beitou Hot Spring (same way)

Shilin Night market - pwede mo na to isingit , more on food trip dito (try nyo yung Oyster Omelet)

Jiufen and Yehliu - di ko to napuntahan ^^

We were supposed to book our plane tickets yesterday dahil sa sale ng Cebu Pac. P1899 per trip so more or less nasa P6k yung ticket namin (per person). Eh di kami nakapagpa-book kasi yung isa namin kasama nag-backed out pero ngayon tuloy na ulit kami at pag-check ko nung tickets, aba P888 nalang! haha

sky_butterfly17- hi sis, yung first 3 stores nasa Taipei pero the last one is super layo na. Mas malapit sa hotel mo yung 1 and 2. I think your hotel provides a shuttle bus to the Taipei Main Station. So, from there:

1) Take the blue line to Taipei City Hall MRT Station. Take the free shuttle bus to the Taipei 101 building. Walk from there na lang... hope this link works for you: walking directions

2. Take the blue line to Ximen MRT Station, exit 6. Yung nasa Google maps na Nike store in this area is no. 147 pero same street -- maybe you can go to both stores: walking directions

Wala ako sa Taipei ngayon so I can't help with the weather muna. Pero malamang medyo malamig pa rin Enjoy your trip! Malapit na!!

If you and your companions are single, masaya rin i-try ang Xia-Hai City God Temple or "Matchmaking Temple" - there are steps to follow when asking for your match! Nakakatuwa kasi they assign English-speaking guides kung foreigner ka. Pero may bayad 'to ha...

For Jiufen and Yehliu, pwedeng dumerecho ng Danshui after... although it's a long bus ride from the Yehliu entrance (mga 2 hours) pero super ganda ng scenery (north coast). When we did this, we missed the sunset kasi medyo late na kami nag-start.
You can also go to Pingxi (sky lantern) -- balik lang dun sa Ruefang train station then transfer to the Pingxi train line. 

Enjoy your trip! Enough na ang 5 days pero ok rin kung 1 week para hindi kayo nagmamadali at may time mag-relax sa tea shops. Mag eat-all-you-can hotpot kayo

^sis esor - Sinira na raw nila yung Shilin Night Market at underground na siya ngayon! Sinisira rin nila ngayon yung Shida night market. Tsk, tsk!! Hehe, masarap rin yung oyster omelet sa Raohe night market... kinain namin siya with rice
